This place has the best smash burgers. I usually get the double steak burger that comes with cheese and bacon. The staff is usually very friendly and polite. If you like milkshakes, they also have a great creamy milkshake selection with different add-in options. I will say, I'm not a big fan of the french fries as they're very thin and not really how I prefer my fries to be, but the burger alone is something to return for--especially after a night out since they're open kind of late.

I stopped by this Steak 'n Shake to feed a few hungry kids and it did the job nicely. The order was complete, served hot and freshly made. The group finished off with milkshakes and all was good. Not a complaint amongst them. The prices were reasonable and the service was quick. I will definitely return.

Best Steak 'n Shake experience to be honest. We were greeted right away with a smile & seated, no wait. Leana was the one who sat us & ended up being our server. She was on top of everything & everyone else as it seemed. She didn't write our order down but everything came out correct. Everytime I asked for something she brought it right out. Our service was great. I very seldom eat inside when eating at a Steak 'n Shake. Many have shut down but I'm glad this one is close to my house & has not. This was my first time coming to this location & I will be back simply because the service was so great! As far as the food, the burgers & fries weren't the hottest. Like the cheese on the burger not melted, that is the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars.

They nailed the double steak burger and free fries. Just the way I like it!

Trust me, it took the seasoned willpower of an Elite to hold off biting into this luscious double meat steak burger just for the photo shoot! Perhaps it's that adage that absence makes the heart grow fonder, but this rang all my burger desires bells. I simply love their steak burgers so consider my review as one from a very bias perspective. They garnished just the right amount of mayo, raw onions and pickles as if I were making it. Not over done with the 5-Guy's/Burger Fi juicy fat goodness -if you knoiw what I mean? Funny too that as I finally succumbed to my desire for a hearty bite, the radio synced up to the event by playing / singing: "I want you to be haPPEier, I want you to be hapPIEEEER!! (Marshmallow and Bastille) The other detail note worthy to mention is this location was including FREE Fries. For the asking! What a fun and friendly voice too they have at the drive up order booth window too. So, not only were these lunchtime fries free as advertised but with only one Burger on the order, they still put two servings of HOT-HOT free SnS fries in the bag along with the requested side of mayo. (Yes I go for the potato salad fries version- no catsup for me). Man, I was happier! I don't understand the low star rating at this facility has always met or exceeded my expectations in all ways. Oh well, there it is. It is a special weekend when the "gods of happy" are blessing you without expectations.

Was a great burger, but the actual store was filthy. They had one waitress (felt bad for her) running herself to death trying to take care of the floor and counter...got a couple shakes to go that were typical. If the place was better staffed and cleaner it would've gotten more stars. I think m they are closing a bunch of these chain stores in the area

Decent diner that I've gone to for years. My favorite is the chili mac supreme. Service can be slow unfortunately at times, but the food doesn't disappoint. Good diner food for a cheap price.

This is the brownie sundae shake. There is supposed to be a layer of chocolate sauce and a cherry.

I arrived at Steak 'n Shake and they were half full. We were told it would be about 10 minutes. However, we were sat right away. We placed our order and I ordered a guacomole burger, brownie sundae milkshake, and a water. We got our water first off, but did not receive a straw. We had just left the Orlando City game so we downed our water very quickly. It took a while but our food finally came. That was the point the server went off to refill our water (still no straw). I noticed the burger looked like the cajun double burger. When the server brought our water se saw me looking at it and said sorry and grabbed the plate and took it to the kitchen. I figured they were going to make me a new burger on the fly. The server brought us some onion rings for while we waited. They seemed as though they were ones that they were about to throw away so they just threw them back in the fryer. They were extremely oily. About 10 minutes later my burger was delivered again. My daughter had just finished her garlic burger. She said it was very good. I got the burger and it had green smudges on. It looked like pesto it was such small amounts. Instead of bringing me a ramekin of guacomole she took my burger back. I asked for a manager to come by. My daughter had received her shake the moment her food was finished. I was told they are still working on my shake. Now I got my guacomole burger and it just had two small pieces of avocado on it. At this point my fries were ice cold. About 15 minutes after my daughter got her milk shake, I received mine. The picture on the menu showed it with a great layer of chocolate sauce and a cherry. I received neither of these items. I think my shake was sitting for a while, as it was very thin. After I finished my shake I still did not have a manager come to my table. We went to the cashier and she was staring off. She never acknowledged us. Eventually she yelled to someone in the kitchen. A guy in a polo shirt came up and fixed her problems. I asked him why there was no manager available. He said he was the manager and so I shared with him the story. He started out very defensive, but after he saw the pictures he felt very bad and apologized. He said he was unaware that I was asking for a leader. In addition, he was down two servers for the day. His name was Josh and ended up taking care of our meal. I look forward to trying them again so that I can update my review with how they normally operation.

It's fast food that gets made fresh once you order it, so be prepared for a slightly longer wait then normal, but the food is good.

Looking around after the game, a smash burger sounded like just the thing we needed. Ambiance was nice. Good, chill vibes, a random door to a random next-door bar. Plenty of viable seating for my party of six. Service was pretty ok. The front counter worker was nice enough, but the food took forever to come out. Much longer than I would expect for the products we ordered. The food itself was dynamite. I got the Papi Big Mak (Two Florida-raised beef patties, smashed onions, lettuce, American cheese, sweet-heat pickles, tostone "Middle Bun" , Papi Mak sauce, Sesame Martin Potato Roll). This was a fun thing. The patties had a good crisp to them. The totstone did not, though, so it got a little lost in the bite and chew. Needed more sauce. And that sesame seed bun really helped out a lot, too. A little extra texture in every bite. I was a fan. I also got the chance to try the Umami Papi (Two Florida-raised beef patties, crispy bacon, white cheese, sweet-heat pickles, crispy onion, raspberry jam, Uuuumami truffle sauce, sesame buns). This one was a better topping combination. The pickles had a nice pop of acid, the raspberry jam really stood out, adding a nice sweetness, and the truffle sauce, never thought I needed it on a burger. I did. Standout burger. I also got the Papis Loco Fries. I forget exactly what these fries were topped with, but the cheese, just look at it. Congealed just perfectly. A good side item, for sure. Overall, this greasy meal is out there doing the good work for the people. Maybe this was a four star meal overall, but I'm not sitting, that Umami Papi was a standout for me, and the reason I now give five stars.

Nice, crispy edges on the patties, and I loved how many sesame seeds were on the buns. Great flavor. Cons: The only thing was that they waited for our whole party's order to be ready before calling names, instead of just serving them as they came. This lead to cold burgers. Tips: Make sure you arrive early! If you wait too long, they switch to a smaller, less interesting menu.

They offer beef, chicken, Impossible, and veggie patties, along with a wide variety of cheeses and buns to choose from. My Impossible Burger was tasty, but I'm not sure it quite justified the price. On our first visit, I got a very impressive looking shake loaded with toppings, unfortunately it wasn't on the menu this time around. It's not my top pick for burgers, but it's definitely not a bad option either.

To my surprise, I was disappointed by the food. I got the loaded frings and a 5 x 5 burger. I believe the burger is relatively new, since it wasn't on any of the pictures of their menu on Google. Ambiance: The staff was friendly enough and I do like the fact that you can see them cooking the burgers in front of you. However, looking around at the restaurant, it looks like there was no upkeep. There were broken tiles, tables weren't cleaned, and I believe there might have been mold when I was filling my water cup at the ice machine, like visibly on the spout. Food: Loaded frings- I'm not sure how you mess this one up, but they somehow did it. The fries were overcooked and the bacon was fried to hell. I think you can actually see how burnt the bacon was in the pictures. It tasted like charcoal. Lastly, the fries were completely soaked in cheese sauce, which I'm guessing was from a can. It tasted like the cheese you'd have at state fairs, except more watery. There was more sauce than fries and onion rings! I should have taken a picture after eating half of the fries. I could not eat the bottom half of the frings because it was all soggy Burger- the same cooked-to-hell bacon was used on the burger. Not much else need to say about that. Looking at the picture of the burger, you'd think that the patties were way overcooked as well. That was not entirely the case. The patties weren't extra dry, but they weren't as juicy as I would have liked a burger to be. I'd say it was just okay. Maybe a half step below average. I really wanted to like this place, but I wasn't able to. I'm not sure if I came by on an odd day, because the reviews say otherwise. I really hope management can fix these issues.

Now this review has nothing to do with that my father's name was Freddy and that my mother's favorite treat was frozen custard. But those little tidbits of information don't hurt. The warm feeling that I get when I eat frozen custard reminiscent of enjoying it on the boardwalk with my mom is renewed at Freddy's not because of the ambience of the restaurant, but because of that same delicious taste that my mind still seems to remember from long ago that I have not found anywhere else before this. But I digress. Freddy's may look like your typical fast food restaurant, but it is anything but. I already loved it for the burgers, the french fries with their wonderful sauce, and of course, the custard but now they have a salad as well. Really fresh greens with my favorite burger on top as a garnish. Low-carb great taste and totally filling. But not so filling as to not leave room for that wonderful custard. On this particular visit, I did run into an issue which I will not lower my rating because of, but want people aware of so it does not happen to them. If you have a coupon for a discounted custard, and they ring in any other item after that, it will restore the custard to the full price on their register. I did not notice that and paid the full price. The manager did give me a card for a free custard next visit so they certainly took responsibility but just wanted people aware to keep an eye on that. In defense of the staff, I don't think they noticed either that it had occurred, so I did not allow that to detract from my impression of five star service from their pleasant, friendly and attentive staff Of course the custard is a star. It comes in all sorts of different ways to serve it. I tend to usually be a purist indeed, as a soft serve, but sometimes their specials are so exciting that I cannot resist. I have never tasted any of them that I did not find awesome. Their steakburgers should not be left as an afterthought. These are not like other fast food burgers; the meat is actually very tasty and because there's not any "proprietary" seasonings on it I even order an extra one so that I can sit outside with my puppy and she can enjoy it. It is small enough to not be unhealthy for her and big enough to be a satisfying snack. Its fat content does not make her ill like the typical fast food burger would. I personally like the fries and find the sauces to be quite good. Prices are more than reasonable and they have hours that make them convenient whenever you're hungry or craving that custard fix. I am a Freddy's fan and wish they would open one closer to where I live in Miami.

The resturant inside was very clean, and the employees working behind the counter were very nonchalant. I ended up ordering their grilled chicken sandwich combo with their famous skinny fries. My mom got the Freddy's Original double combo with a Turtle milkshake and onion rings. The sandwich portion was big. The chicken was very juicy and tasted alright. The fries, however, were not seasoned. I had to get a salt and pepper packet to season them. At that point, they were very good, tasty, and crispy! Overall, the meal was okay. It was nothing spectacular but also nothing terrible either. As for my mom, she wasn't very impressed with her hamburger. She said the portion size was good, but she would describe the hamburger itself as "lacy." She said it was okay, but since it took us 27 minutes to get here, she said Culver's was better in quality and closer. She was underwhelmed by the onion rings. She said it was more of the fried breading and barely any onion inside. However, she did enjoy her milkshake, but struggled to suck it up through the straw. It was enjoyable to try a new establishment, but it was just a mid experience for me.
