There isn't an option to "build your own" like Jersey Mikes or Subway, so you're kind of stuck with what you get. It wasn't awful, just not that good. Service made up for mediocre food.

Place is small with six or so tables. Got home with our sandwiches. My Italian Sub was SO WET AND SOGGY! The lettuce and thinly sliced tomato were drenched in some unidentified liquid substance. I pulled all of the let out of the sub. Leaving me with a bun that was falling apart. Torn off about half of the top and bottom of the bun. Flavor of meat was okay at its best. I ate one half Wife's Homemade Turkey sub was bland and tasteless. She ate 1/3 of one half. Two bags of chips were the hit of the meal. $29.60 wasted. Can't say we didn't try.

The Dutch Crunch Sandwich was packed with turkey, bacon, swiss, tomato, arugula, and avocado mayo on dutch crunch bread. They don't skimp on toppings at all, there was plenty of turkey and bacon, and every bite was flavorful. Dalton's Double Deuce was another standout. Ham, egg salad, olive tapenade, and arugula on a fresh Italian roll. It felt like a grown up version of an egg salad sandwich. The olive tapenade adds a great punch of flavor, though it leans a little salty. And the cookies... unbelievably good. Truly some of the best cookies I've had. The Brown Sugar Cookie has a gooey center and deep caramel flavor, and the Oatmeal Cookie without no raisins, surprised me, I didn't miss the raisins at all. It tastes like it has a light honey glaze to me, and it's phenomenal. Trenchers is definitely a new favorite.

I decided to find out so I ordered a small original. I was pleased to find the bread was the same delicious sourdough Schlostzky's is known for and the small sandwich had ample ingredients. I would recommend getting small or medium sandwiches instead of the large. The amount of sodium in a small original is 1640 and the recommended daily amount of sodium is 2300 or below, so that leaves 660 for the rest of the day. If you are on a low sodium diet, they do have some cheese and veggie sandwiches and salads below 1,000 mg. Most restaurants put a lot of salt in their food. It's not just Schlotzsky's. My husband has to limit his sodium so we check. The service was fast and friendly, but this restaurant is lacking in ambiance. The seats in the booths are wearing out. They look bad and they're uncomfortable. They have a nice patio area where you can probably take your dog. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays pizzas are $5. Wednesdays are bogo pizza nights.

One of the most unique parts of the visit was learning that the person seated at the table next to us was the previous owner. She is still a regular customer, and her photo is proudly displayed on the wall in the restaurant. That says a lot about the history, loyalty, and character of this place. I also accidentally left my credit card behind and did not realize it until about an hour and a half later. I called the restaurant, and the management immediately helped resolve the issue. They kindly arranged to mail it to my home in Los Angeles, and I have now received it safely. That level of honesty and customer care is rare. A special thank you to the management for handling everything so professionally, and to Heather for her kindness, attentiveness, and outstanding service. Highly recommend this spot for great breakfast, quality food, welcoming atmosphere, and a team that truly cares about its customers.

The regular fries are crispy and well done, and the sweet potato fries are just as good, which makes it hard to choose between the two. I usually get the garlic aioli on the side, and it takes everything up another level. The atmosphere is slightly elevated compared to a typical burger spot, especially in the bar area, but still relaxed enough to feel comfortable. It is a place I will keep coming back to whenever I want a burger that feels worth it.

I think it is named after a local ranch so sorry if I butchered it. I asked what was on it... all I heard was grilled onions, jalapeños, and some sauce and I was all in!! The burger came on toast and is very similar to a patty melt if you like that style. Honestly it was a great burger. The wife and I shared some cheese and onion fries... I can't say enough about how delicious it was. My wife ended up getting the class burger which comes with cheese sauce to dip fries or your burger in....i wanted the cheese sauce on everything but I did my best to hold back. Service is always great accompanied with some local brews... honestly this is a great place to eat local beef and local brews!
