Breakfast Croissant with a Guava Mimosa and orange juice!
    Anthony N.

One of our favorite things to do with my wife and dog is walk around Old Sac. We do it a lot for dog socializing, but this weekend we showed up with another mission... breakfast. We finally decided to check out Steamers and really enjoyed it! The spot is small but super cute and has a cozy little vibe to it. We ordered two breakfast croissant sandwiches along with guava mimosas... and honestly, no explanation is needed there. That combo already speaks for itself. Another huge plus was that our dog was able to hang out with us in the outside seating area. I will say the patio space is a little tight, so just keep that in mind if you're bringing a dog. Luckily, Lobo is basically a retired old man trapped in a younger dog's body, so he just relaxed the whole time. Overall, it was a great first experience. Good food, good drinks, and a nice little morning spot in Old Sac. We'll definitely be back again on another weekend morning.

Almost $30 for what you see here!

Burger, fries, and a canned soda was $29 and some change. The burger comes with a salad, but if you want fries it's another $3.50. This place is waaaaaay overpriced. If you are looking to drop $30 on lunch for one person there are much better options nearby, but not in Old Sacramento. Look elsewhere.

Stopped in after a long walk with my dogs and was met with the friendliest helpful staff... the vibe was welcoming relaxed and genuinely eager to help. They offered my dogs water and talked me thru all the menu options. Their turkey cranberry Pannni was delicious and the fries hot and perfectly crispy.....sitting on the patio watching all the people was the perfect way to spend a Sunday Afternoon. Highly recommend and will be back !!!!

We came to Old Sac early for the St. Patrick's Day parade and decided to have breakfast at Steamers. We ordered at the counter and decided to eat outside on a beautiful Saturday morning. The main reason I came here was for the Irish Coffee. I had my first ever two years back at the last St. Patrick's parade and loved it. Right amount of whiskey that's wasn't too overpowering so good. The pancakes I ordered were fluffy and the bacon and eggs were nice. She enjoyed her Denver Omelet's fresh veggies. I always enjoy stopping here for coffee whenever I visit Old Sac. The staff are very friendly and I love their coffee options.

Went with some lovely ladies to Steamers. Ordered our food and sat outside. I ordered a vegetable omelette with tater tots. Aimee had pancakes, Ms. Baradat had a breakfast burrito and Selene had breakfast sandwich. Everyone said their food was just "Okay". My omelette was bland and needed more seasoning, at least to me. Would I go back maybe . Service and location makes me want to maybe go back. Anyway what's next?

I am giving this place 3 Stars and here's why... The antique decor in here is so cool, picture worthy. I hope this is not the norm for this place but the coffee was so bad, we had to send it back. It tasted stale and acidic to the max. We thought it might have been the syrup but we changed our drinks and it was the same. The employee behind the counter was very nice though. She didn't give us a hard time about it nor were we rude about the coffee. I wish I had something better to say. I am not an expert so not going to offer my theories on why the coffee was bad but I hope it was figured out and just a one off. Written with good intentions.

Visited December 18th..see my receipt as always. The location is perfect at the old waterfront Sacramento as it's right across from the hotel! They open at 8am and it's always very clean inside. I had the 2 timer breakfast with 2 eggs..2 pancakes and bacon. Chef Sergio always makes my bacon extra crispy! Alittle expensive but expected in this area. Strong coffee!!! Great location! Ps. Someone recently posted this is the only coffee place open at 8am. Incorrect... .there are 2 others in same vicinity that also open at 8am!

Breakfast croissant with/spinach added and a Irish coffee

First off it's open on Sunday morning earlier than the other restaurants, so there's that. It's a great place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch (they are Not open for dinner), tater tots instead of hashbrowns. I had the breakfast sandwich on croissant and added spinach cuz I needed some greens. Nicely prepared; my eggs weren't overly cooked nor under. Service was good and they have Bloody Marys and Irish coffees if you would care to partake in early morning libations as well as mimosas. You can sit on the outside patio which I did just to be outside (it was a beautiful day) can't pass that opportunity to enjoy the outside. The inside is nice as well, they do ask that you bus your own dishes and you walk up and order then bring it out to you. And just across the street from the riverwalk!

    beautiful view

Well for one, our food came out 'steaming' hot!!! The ambiance was a bit noisy but that means there's good service all around. Ordered a breakfast burrito and let me tell you... phenomenal, egg was cooked just right, tortilla was soft and yummy, can't go wrong with the classic burrito. The staff were very welcoming, The young lady with the blonde hair greeted us, she was very sweet and helped us take our order, the servers dished out the plates efficiently as well. 10/10 in all departments, well done!

Very cool cafe right in the heart of historic Old Town Sacramento. You are surrounded by a lot of touristy stores, but each has its own theme and atmosphere. Service was good, you can tell the staff were busy trying to balance indoor and outdoor diners. Food was good, clam chowder was jammed packed with goodness, Italian sodas were good, and burgers were stacked a mile high.

Half eaten spinach, mushroom and cheese omelet

Happening spot with a friendly, efficient staff. Order and pay, pick a table inside or out and your food is delivered to you fairly quickly. We both had the mushroom, fresh spinach, carmelized onion and cheese omelet which was hearty and tasty. The potatoes were bland so didn't eat them but the omelet alone was worth the price. Pleasant spot across the street from the river, a lovely way to start your day.

Food included the 1/4 lb. brisket (lean), pulled pork sandwich, mac n cheese, and fries. The lean brisket surprised with how good it was. Would order again. Might skip the mac next time, and others have mentioned the price point. Lots of families and friendly atmosphere.

Wow the food was as good as the beer!!!! service was on point and the patio was busy with a large party but we were off prime time so little to no wait. Parking was a bit challenging as they are in a neighborhood but it can be found. Open modern interior with a beer area that will make any lover beyond happy. The somewhat open kitchen is always fun as well. The Food: Smokehouse Dip: OMG a smoked french dip? Yes please. Nicely sliced smoked meat with a bun that had just enough integrity to survive being dunked in the jus but soft enough to eat without. The melted cheese added a nice counterpoint to the smokey meat and helped offset the saltiness of the jus. Add a bit of their house bbq sauce and it was perfect. Onion Rings: Like a moth to flame I will order this everytime. perfectly friend and just the right batter to onion ration. I could eat these all day long with one of their beers Caesar Salad: Crisp lettuce and plenty of parm. The dressing could have used a bit more acid but was nevertheless good Beer: Pilsner served in a cold glass. Nice and crisp it was a perfect beverage to cleanse the palate between rich bites.
