This place is well worth checking out. Parking can be a little tricky and the wait a little long…read more(about 45 minutes on a Saturday), but the food and service is excellent. Once we were seated, our order was taken quickly. The food arrived hot and delicious. My partner had the steak, raspberry lemonade mimosa, and a cup of coffee. I had the yuzu benedict and a cup of aged earl grey. The steak was well cooked (medium rare), seasoned well, and melted in our mouths. The asparagus, Pico, and arugula complimented the steak and uplifted what would have potentially been been a heavy dish. I usually do not like topping on steak, but this was clearly a well thought out dish. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Every component was the star and was celebrated. The yuzu Benedict was beautifully delicate. The bread was pleasantly toasted, but easy to cut through. Cucumber, pickled onion, and capers added pops of salt and freshness that paired well with the soft selected smoked salmon and perfectly poached eggs. The yuzu hollendaise brought everything together. The yuzu added the right citrus note without bringing the sharpness that lemon brings. The mimosa was pleasantly tart and bright. The tea was more mellow than a traditional Earl Grey with interesting notes of toasted rice. Even the coffee was the kind that is so good that you'll happily keep drinking it after the meal.

AND you can add chocolate chips, blueberries and cranberries to your pancakes or just have it plain. I chose blueberries and the pancakes were perfectly cooked!! Service was awesome, the waitresses were so sweet and kept checking up on us. It just feels very homey in there, and it was probably the best breakfast I've had in a while. I was so hungry that I forgot to take pictures though :x

It's open seating and we opted to sit outside, we didn't realize our table (as were all of them) dirty but our waitress noticed and offered to clean to clean it- mind you we were already seated. Another waitress comes by and wipes every bit of crumbs and dirt right onto my lap, irritating. I wiped my lap very obvious and she apologized. My bf ordered a fanta when we were asked about drinks and given about 10 mins to look over the menu. I ordered the Munga Munga (i believe that's the spelling) in burrito form and informed the waitress no feta as I have a dairy allergy. I saw her write it down. My bf again asked for the fanta and she said yes of course. We waited maybe 10-15 mins and out food was out. My bf still didn't have his fanta lol and my burrito came w feta- able to see bc they cut the burrito in half. I noticed right away and they took it back to remake. At this time my bfs fanta comes. Less than 10 mins later I get my refire. This particular omelette was supposed tp have Louisiana hot link sausage but it must've been cut very fine bc I could barely see any meat and there wasn't any flavor to it at all. I added some tobasco and pepper but I'm thinking I should've added salt too. Cool. I ate maybe half of half the burrito and a few bites of hash browns (that also had no flavor) and was ready to go. Less than 4 hrs later I had awful cramps and diarrhea. It's clear they don't take allergies seriously here. My bf ordered chicken fried steak and he said it was delicious tho. Me personally, I'm good on coming back. Food thrown out, they likely cook eggs in butter or mix egg beaters w milk.

We've now been there twice in the last two weeks. It's a small family owned restaurant. We met the owner yesterday, Laura. She was absolutely lovely. It's very clear why this place is consistently so good. They care about their customers. Service is fantastic. When we were there, breakfast, lunch and brunch were available. They have a selection of a lot of different things from eggs, sandwiches, crêpes, waffles, French toast, omelettes... So many things! On both occasions, we were also pleased with our food. I had the vegetarian omelette, the first time and yesterday the chipotle shrimp crêpes. OMG! Divine! I have it on good authority that the crab Benedict is also excellent. It's a small place in a strip mall, but it's worth hunting down. They even have a bar and the drinks looked pretty good. It was too early for us. Highly recommend!

The Chicken waffle Benedict was fried hard, almost burnt and it wasn't that big of a piece of meat. The servers were friendly and regularly checked on me. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and they have various seating options of party sizes and bar seating. I wouldn't be open to going back to try something else, but the food was not particularly amazing. They seem to have a faith based mission, which was a draw to me.

So I stop by my bro Steven's place and ask him where's a good coffee spot around here?…read more A's game is on and this man throws me a fastball right down the middle and absolutely sends it over the fence with The Tree House Cafe didn't even hesitate. Just gave me the address and said "street parking bro... good luck." Pull up and this place looks like your childhood friend's house that grew up, got a little money, found peace and turned into a café . Super cozy, cool vibe and honestly just has personality to it. Walked in and instantly greeted by Elena and let me tell you... Elena wasn't taking orders she was basically an offensive coordinator drawing up plays for breakfast lol . I told her it was my first time and she goes "I got you." That's all I needed to hear. She hooked me up with the Berry Blossom Milk Tea, Ultra Violet iced coffee, blueberry muffin and the breakfast burrito with bacon and avocado. Now the drinks? Solid. That Ultra Violet coffee had lavender, caramel and honey all entering the chat at once like they were forming the Avengers . Somehow it worked. Then came the burrito... now listen... at first I'm sitting there like "alright everybody calm down it's just a breakfast burrito." WRONG. This thing came out throwing hands immediately eggs, potatoes, bacon, avocado all packed into this perfectly toasted tortilla. Then the salsa showed up like a surprise guest star and took the whole thing to another level. I almost looked around for somebody's grandma in the back yelling "make sure that boy leaves full!" Sat outside watching the A's game, drinking coffee, enjoying the breeze and honestly it was the perfect Sunday reset. Steve my brother... you absolutely crushed this recommendation

I got the Madame Cristo and Moroccan Fruit with Greek Yogurt. My beverage selection was a Iced Matcha and water but then I saw that some people were ordering a Dolce Latte and it looked appetizing, so I ordered that too and it was really good. My total came up to 57 dollars and some change. Oh and I started my Moroccan Fruit with Greek Yogurt first and realized I didnt take a picture. So I stopped, fixed it up and snap one for all to see...lol. I love the vibe in there, it definitely gives off Hippie Vibes but thats expected in Sacramento. As I was waiting for my food, I was people-watching (like usual) and I saw a staff give food to a homeless man. I thought that was very beautiful. A little kindness goes a long way...you know. You have the choice of outside seating or indoors. The outside seating area is beautiful, there's a water fountain nearby with some benches for people to sit and hang out. And the area has some nice shade. Which is awesome because I cannot imagine people wanting to sit in the sun and eat. I see some reviews on here stating that it is impossible to order anything from their menu because the selections were too much. Or the variety of food selections on the menu was too much. Well..I say that they are wrong. Their menu caters to Hispanic and American food. YES, they have burgers on the menu. Yes, they have enchiladas and Salads and Soups if you dont feel like eating anything heavy, they have a lighter selection for you as well. And for my VEGANS out there...Tower Cafe also has some great selections for you as well. Please understand if you can't figure what you want to eat, honey its not the menu's fault. Thank You Toodles
