Didn't get to eat my meal. I ordered my steak medium rare it came out raw and ice cold. The Server took it back brought out the same steak cut in half and now it was well done. The manager had the nerve when he brought it out, to say watch out your plate is hot! When the server came out again to ask how it was, I said to her please just take it off the bill I do not want it. The manager never came by, never said anything. Their steaks are cooked exactly the way you like it. Upon entrance, was seated right away but waited over 15min before being seen by our waiter for drinks. A party larger than ours that sat down after us had already been greeted and given drinks before we who the waiter was. As far as the food, steaks were supposed to be medium well but was well done, hard to chew, and hard to swallow. I've been coming here on and off since a kid and it was absolutely the worst service I have ever had. We met some friends here, love this place great food, and our server Chantell was the greatest server we have ever had. She was one step ahead of knowing our needs and giving us all we needed. They took 25+ min just to take our order. No customer service skills. The waitresses were then rude after we had to tell them we've been waiting for half an hour. They kept looking at our table seeing we were ready to order and continued to ignore us as well. I'll start with the restaurant itself...feels slightly outdated, floors look really dirty, and saw some dust throughout the walls and decorations...booths were pretty big and could seat 8-10 people which was cool....ok now to food...sampler appetizer looked good but came out semi warm and somewhat flavorless(good thing I like ranch and ketchup) I ordered steak and shrimp...salad was basic side salad, shrimp were basic fried shrimp...plating was cool, steak was delicious, tasted like a good quality cut of meat, loaded baked potato was covered with cold cheese lol not too happy about that but mushed it up and melted while I worked on my shrimp...best part of meal was waitress... very impressed with her service...good pricing for food but needs work...overall I'll check them out again but not anytime soon. read more

I usually love this place but I called them to ask if there was romaine lettuce in my salad I ordered earlier today (due to the recent E.Coli outbreak with it) and they just hung up on me and the line is now disconnected. If my family does end up getting E.coli I will take this business to court especially now that they are refusing to even answer my calls on the matter. I always love coming here for a nice, juicy steak! I ordered the small but mighty, and it was cooked medium and perfect. My bf ordered the super stockyard, it was a little more cooked than the medium he ordered, but still tasty. Our potatoe wedges were just potatoes cut in half with some cheese. Usually, the scoop out some of the potatoes, then they add chives and sour cream. I definitely won't order those again. The reason for the 4 stars is our server didn't greet us for at least 7 minutes, and forgot to bring us waters 3x, we kept having to ask over and over. At the end of our meal, she brought our bill before asking if we wanted dessert, which I wanted. We use to drive from palm springs just eat here cause it's perfect every time and melts in your mouth. I've been going here for years and until today it was great. My husband and I went back today to celebrate my birthday and our 13 year anniversary. It wasn't very crowded, we waited about 15 minutes to be seated and then waited 20 mins at our table and nobody ever came to help us. A few servers were helping the tables around us yet never made it to us to say anything not even sorry for the wait give me a few mins. So we left. The steak is good, it tastes different from different steaks at different places I really like. Great steaks and super fresh salad! The chili seemed a bit thinner than Rancho and there were not steak chunks in the chili either (like Rancho). But maybe they changed the chili recipe? I was let down by what others told me about this place. We went here for a date. The entrance was near a sidewalk. A dangerous gang krept close to my family. Terrible entry way. 2 years ago, there was even a serious crime that happened in that area. I remember driving and seeing police cars. As for the dining experience, im the guy that doesnt tip. We left with mad faces at us. Also, the bathroom was awful. The steak was kinda hard for the teeth. I asked for medium rare and it was kinda a bit too rare. At the time, the shrimp wasnt fresh and i got sick ( this was long ago so I hope they inspect that now).. I prefer the sizzler that is right up from here. Finally, dont get me started in their restroom. Hope they fix these things soon. I dont recommend this. I just hope others have a better experience because it does have potential if it improves on many flaws. read more

The other person ordered a steak that was the smallest thing I've ever seen a baked potato and a side of rice she wanted mashed potatoes but we were told they were out of mashPotatoes, she never got her side of rice until we had to ask . At this time our waitress had never come over to ask how things were if we needed a refill on our water where are one root beer. I asked to speak to the manager and a gentleman came over come to find out it was this lobby man at the front desk and basically all he had to say was OK sorry were super busy tonight and he was taking my shish kebab dinner off the order. The waitress came by and asked if the other person in our party one and something else besides rice which was pretty stupid since she was completely done with her food we got the bill and we were charged for two sodas which we only had one so we had to ask for the manager again and a different gentleman came over and I asked him if he was the manager and he said yes and I said well who was the other, And he tells me it was the owner I was shocked that the owner would be there dressed in tennis shoes and jeans and a raggedy old sweatshirt. But everything from the clam chowder that taste as if they poured it from a can to the salad that was full of lettuce hearts was jaw dropping. Don't get me wrong. I am used to iceberg lettuce salads that lack nutritional value and even appetizers that are frozen and cooked to order. But everything about this place was low budget. Ordered their "famous" sirloin in medium rare (the way steaks are supposed to be cooked) Service is basically non existent, but friendly. I finally get my steak and it comes out somewhere between medium-medium well. I look around hoping they ask me how the food is, but no dice. After I am most the way done with my meal the waiter finally comes and checks on me, and I tell him the steak is pretty badly overcooked, btu I'll keep it as I'm not one to waste time/food. I also had to wait forever to get water. So I eat it how it is. It tastes OK, but certainly nothing special. I feel I could do better at home on a stove. The garlic bread and cooked veggies were tasty, but I came for a steak. 2 stars is pushing it, and I usually am a very easy to please person. Came in today on a Wednesday for dinner with the family and I gotta say we were all satisfied. My Super Stockard was cooked perfectly, medium just as I asked for. I can appreciate that as a cook myself. They also offer .99 cent kids meal from mon - thurs with an adult purchase which is great, and good options for kids.
