Stella Blues is a dive bar with a Korean restaurant hidden in the back serving the BEST BURGERS IN ST. LOUIS! Don't ask me how it works, just trust me when I say this place has everything. The Korean part of the menu includes bulgogi quesadilla, bulgogi & rice, chicken in gravy (TRUST ME, THIS IS SO GOOD), bulgogi tacos, kimchi, and their Signature Torpedo (it's a bulgogi-stuffed bread stick). The traditional bar menu has your choice of burgers: thicc or smashed. The smashed are the way to go- lacy edges, too much cheese, quality toppings. THE BEST BURGER IN ST. LOUIS! Get the KFC - Korean Fried Chicken - wings or buffalo wings, loaded fries, onion rings, or crab rangoon. The bar has more than just beers & well drinks. They have every flavor of Jinro soju- my favorite is the grape! They also have cocktails that pair perfectly with your meal: Strawberry Basil refresher made with soju, PEARadise and Chocolate Kiss with chocolate and pomegranate flavors. That last drink is perfect for Valentine's Day   The kitchen accepts cards. THE BAR IS CASH ONLY! There is an ATM inside just in case. Fine more on Instagram @stellabluestl and @stellagrill_stl

Food was top tier, especially for a dive bar scene. I bet drunk people eat this food up late at night because if I come in to not get drunk and love this food, drunk people would have a ball haha Korean food is my jam, super cool that there's a bar that serves hot Korean food. Only downside is that the place opens at 3, happy hour starts at 3:30, and kitchen opens at 4. Wish it all started all the same time. Had to wait a bit for the food. It's cash only for the bar and you have to order a drink in order to stay. Kitchen you can use card! Service was nice! Everyone was super nice and sociable. Come here! Cannot wait to try the rest of the food.

From the moment I walked into the bar, I enjoyed the lively atmosphere and ambiance. The dim lighting, rustic decor, and friendly staff created a welcoming vibe that made me feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the food. I ordered their tacos and the moment I took my first bite of my taste buds were shocked into flavor paradise. The tender, marinated beef was perfectly cooked and bursting with a harmonious blend of sweet and savory flavors. Truly caught me off guard how flavorful the tacos were. Must get the salsa verse to throw on top, but not a necessity. Can't forget about those loaded fries! The generous portion size was definitely a pleasant surprise. The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, melted cheese, crispy bacon bits, chives, and sour cream. It's fantastic that the serving was large enough to share with a group - perfect for a fun night out with friends! The service at the bar was top-notch. The staff was attentive & friendly. Must check out Stella Blues!

Last night , I spent hours searching for the best restaurants in St Louis and I stumbled upon this one. The reviews were amazing and let me tell you, the reviews were correct. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. We tried the bulgogi and rice bowl, the charred wings, and cheese fries. We also tried a peach shot, they didn't taste strong but the results were. I normally don't visit a restaurant more than once but I'll be a repeat customer anytime that I'm in town. I also loved the customer service. The woman taking my order was very cheery and made me feel welcomed. Many of the customers are repeat customers that were also talkative and welcoming. I've been to hundreds of restaurants and this one is definitely in my top 5.

Stella blues is a great neighborhood bar. Amazing selection of drink and delicious Korean style noshes. The crowd is diverse and very chill, the overall vibe of this place is truly outstanding. The Korean chicken wings were a flavor bomb and they have the best French fries I have ever had. Perfectly seasoned and crisped. Really a great place to hang.

My first time at Stella Blues and I'll definitely be coming back! The bartenders were incredible. They were attentive and super nice. The food here was delicious and the kitchen is open till 1 AM. We got the charred wings with OG sauce and the Bulgogi platter and they were both mouth wateringly delicious. We loved the energy at Stella and stayed until closing, playing music on touch tunes :)

Return and greatly enjoyed our light dinner again. Warm neighborhood vibe inside. The kitchen will take credit cards with an additional fee, the bar only accepts cash. There is an atm on the premises.

I haven't met a person yet who doesn't love a good dive bar. This place definitely fits the bill. The staff and patrons are friendly and welcoming. The bar is cash only (ATM on site) and has just about everything you can think of. The Happy Hour specials are awesome! Just what you need after a long day. The highlight of this spot is their bar food menu. Honestly, I've never had anything like it! The food counter does accept credit/debit cards. So, I recommend trying everything! I spent time in South Korea, Japan, and Hawaii. This has to be some of the best Bulgogi I've had outside of these places. Tender beef strips in a spicy sticky sauce each bite more flavorful than the last. The rice is also made to the perfect sticky texture. The menu also boasts a variety of appetizers, all of which are sure to please. If the Asian inspired menu isn't your thing, there's also burger and fries and wings something for everyone! Definitely stop in for a visit. Between the drink specials and the food, you're sure to have a good time!

I called in to see if they still were cooking around 11:20 pm. A man said yes and took my order. He made it very clear I needed to be there before 12 when the kitchen closed, though the bar closed at 1, understandable, just want you to know. ;) I got the chicken wings half Korean half buffalo and an order of fries. The fries were savory but had an addicting sweet taste to them. Wings and fries were both fresh and crispy. The waiter said see you next time as I left and boy was he right!

Okay, so most St Louisans know about the kabobs at Fast Eddies, but I will tell you the the kabobs here at Stella Blues are way better! This is a cash only bar and the kabobs are AMAZING! They also have some really great daily specials that are a must! The decorations here are just wacky and I love it. It's a great spot!

Charred wing. Good food and drinks. I enjoyed the atmosphere. My crew and I will return.

The chef put his FOOT IN THIS! I love it. Can't wait to return and try more. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place . I love the ambiance . Kind of reminds me of a pirate ship or a speakeasy.

Had a great time with some friends here this past weekend. Never knew about Stella Blues before but so glad to have tried it! I've never been to a pub that served Korean style food and it was so good. I got the bulgogi bowl and it was delicious and spicy. Generous portions as well.

Another fun party at Small Change!…read more Happy Tiki Birthday to Jamie and Bill! I love the cocktail creations that include the Big O Liquor, this year I enjoyed the Back Breaker and the Big O-Spresso Martini. The Back Breaker was refreshing with the different fruit flavors and had a cute pineapple swizzle stick. The Big O-Spresso was very rich with lots of cream, yum Good Strangers was there proving Tiki inspired tacos, I tried both the chicken and the brisket and both were great but the chicken was the winner for me, that slaw was such a great addition! Order at the bar or with a waitress, everyone is having a great time decked out in Tiki gear and the bar full of lots of props. Always a good time!

The bartenders were awesome. We walked up to the bar and both bartenders got things rolling for us quickly. They have a really solid menu as well. They have some wildly unique cocktail options that blend dive bar ingredients with a craft cocktail approach. The vibes were great. The back patio was super nice and a great spot to just relax. I got a gimlet which was beautiful. Slightly tart, with just enough sweetness to balance it all out. There are not many things on this planet better than getting a damn good cocktail at a dive bar.

The BF and I stopped in after visiting Little Lucy. He noticed Purple Quarters on our drive through…read morethe Grove and thought it'd be a place I would like. I love that fact that they offer craft cocktails. The bar area is intimate and cozy. Since we just left from practically next door and enjoyed a plethora of cocktails. I couldn't drink any more nor did I want to. I follow them on IG to see what's the latest happenings and cocktail creations. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door with smiling faces. As soon as I walked in the door I was so excited for this game room because it's not typical. It's clean and intimate, like an upscale parlor. The bar is inviting and cute. The games are beyond reasonable. We love ski ball and it's located in the center of the game room against the wall with several attached, so you have to be crammed next to other patrons. Ski ball is only $0.50 a game and if you score high enough it automatically resets to give you another game. Where can you play ski ball this cheap. They also have pin ball games, arcade games, board games and more. We played several games of Connect Four-----CLASSIC. They have comedy night and karaoke in addition to gaming. We absolutely love this spot, can't wait to return.

Hidden Gems in St. Louis -- and darling, the name is not exaggerating…read more I had the absolute pleasure of attending a birthday celebration here and let me tell you... this place is a vibe, a moment, and a whole sparkling experience. The space is intimate, stylish, and perfectly appointed -- the kind of place that feels like you've stumbled into a secret little jewel box in the city. It's cozy in the best possible way, with an atmosphere that invites laughter, celebration, and maybe just a little fabulous mischief. The bartenders? Absolute pros. Warm, welcoming, and clearly masters of their craft. Naturally, I ordered my classic gin and tonic, and it was perfection in a glass -- crisp, balanced, and exactly what a proper G&T should be. I heard from the birthday boy and his wonderful wife that the owners were incredibly accommodating, and you could feel that hospitality throughout the entire evening. Everything felt effortless and welcoming -- the kind of place where people clearly care about creating a great night. And then... the party truly began. We had drag queens serving glamour and joy, music, laughter echoing through the room, and pizza delivered from the birthday boy's favorite local pizza spot that honestly deserves its own standing ovation. If you want to know where that pizza came from, drop a comment -- because it was outrageously good. By the end of the night I couldn't stop thinking: this place really is a Hidden Gem. A perfect little pocket of St. Louis where good drinks, great people, and a bit of fabulous chaos come together. Sparkle-tastic. Gem-tastic. Pure joy. Highly recommend discovering this hidden gem for yourself. -- Big Daddy Tedd Energy

Still in love with Hidden Gems and everything it has to offer! The bar itself is such a fun spot…read more The décor is playful and whimsical, and the dance floor is always a good time. The upstairs lounge is perfect if you want to hang out with friends or just take a break and rest your feet for a bit. I absolutely love that space and how comfy it is. One of the biggest perks of Hidden Gems is their back room, which allows them to host events and fun pop-up experiences. I've been to a few, and most recently attended the "Taylor Swift: Bejeweled" experience. The space was decked out in all things Taylor, with every era clearly represented. Giant friendship bracelets hung from the ceilings and lined the walls, which was such a fun touch. And of course, there were plenty of photo ops with my close personal bff, Taylor herself! The drink menu was themed to match the eras, with tons of creative options. My friends and I tried several cocktails, along with a few NA options as well. I really appreciate that they offer non-alcoholic drinks as I've been cutting back on alcohol over the past few months, and it's nice to still have fun choices that actually taste good! The Mirrorball was easily my favorite drink of the night. It tasted just like an orange creamsicle and was served in a disco ball...so good and so fun. My last drink of the night was "So Long London," which was almost like a dessert in a glass. Highly recommend ending your night with that one!
