Our experience here was horrible. We were not greeted. I made an appointment for two and once we got there they had no space for us to sit next to each other. They said only 5 minutes for the space to open up and it didn't. The pedicure was not relaxing and it was like 10-15 minutes. *removing 1 start because: Like many, this has been my go to spot in town. However, I'm not sure if it's because they've got new staff but it's become very sketchy. The past two visits they have not honored the services I wrote down on the tickets. First time they gave me a 10 min massage when I had clearly asked for 5 min. They didn't show me the time like they usually do, that's why I didn't think of it. Come pay time I was told it was 10 and of course had to pay the higher price. Today, I clearly wrote delux man with gel & delux pedi with reg & 5 min massage. I had to constantly keep eye on what they did because they almost changed the timer for 10 min massage - had I not peeked & noticed they would've charged me more than I requested. I had to request for the paraffin which is listed as part of the delux package I believe (Kevin) is who did my hands and he did great. I did appreciate him for helping me in communicating to the lady up front & pedi tech what had to be done. All in all good spot still, however keep an eye on their work. And be ready to with the lady up front who always wants to push you to do the more expensive package. read more

I've been coming here for years and they really can't be beat for the wide range of options and services. Their multitude of polish styles and colors is incredible, from chrome to fairy dust, cat eye, matte, you name it. I haven't had a bad technician here yet, but my latest, Amy, really stood out because she gave me ideas to complement what I had in mind. Came here today for the first time and it won't be the last! Regarding my nails - 5 STARS -- Sam did my dip manicure with nail extensions ($60) and Tina did my pedicure ($25). Both were fabulous and to sheer perfection! I was amazed by how thorough Sam was with his work; he did file one of my fingers a little roughly so its sorta sore, but the nail looks fantastic. The lady at the front was friendly and very attentive. She came by like 5 times throughout my appointment just to make sure I was happy with my nails. Regarding the salon itself - 3 STARS -- I think the equipment needs to be cleaner (the gelish light used for my top coat was dirty and the bottom felt oily/had a lotion like film inside). -- Hand sanitizer is readily available which is a plus -- They have a sign that everyone needs to wear masks inside but no one was. I was so excited to come here for the first time on Monday, and it had also been about 2 years since I last got my nails done so I was really looking forward to some pampering. The lady who worked on my feet/toes did a great job, and I thought the lady who worked on my finger nails did as well....that is, until yesterday (ONE day after my appointment) when my nail polish started chipping off!!! I did not do anything harsh with my hands yesterday or on Monday night, and I even wore kitchen gloves to wash dishes Monday & Tuesday! Today I noticed even more chipping, and I'm pretty upset because now my manicure is ruined and it hasn't even been a whole week since I've had them done. Very disappointed. Update: posted more pics--polish has chipped off even more, and now I'm going to have to take it all off and repaint my nails myself. I'm pissed. I never request anyone specific, mostly because I'm very last minute with coming in.. so I can say that I've gotten my nails done by pretty much every nail tech here. Unfortunately, one of the worst gel manicures I've ever gotten. I made an appointment for 2:30, and they didn't even start removing my old polish until 3:10. The manicurist was a nice woman but very distracted. She wasn't letting the nails cure long enough and she kept looking around and not quite looking at what she was doing. Thus, I ended up with polish on my cuticles and an uneven job. I came here once before and they did a nice job so it may have been an off day. But I don't think I will be going back. 40 minutes is just too long to wait when I had made an appointment. read more

Had another pampered girls day. Everyone is so friendly and professional here. We like to get the Deluxe Manicure & Deluxe Pedicure combo that includes the paraffin wax and massage. They offer a small price break this way instead of individually ordered. They actually set a massage timer for 10 minutes. They offer so much more then the standard pedicure. It's so relaxing and we will continue to come back. Thank you ladies! They are also Covid safety prepared. Plexiglass around each chair station and masks worn. Very clean and friendly. Pre-quarantine, I was a regular at Stella Making Beauty. I would happily drive 30-45 minutes for my gel mani and pedi and would confidently recommend to friends. Things are just not the same. Prices are higher because of more expensive "supply costs" but it is clear the salon is using old/expired polish. I've gotten this polish in the past and loved it, but this time it is absolutely unsatisfactory. $65 wasted. This is the second visit in a row my service has been 1 star. I was also stoked to learn that they do Gel-X now Untz untz Just like all of my previous visits, Stella did not disappoint! Jessie (Jessica) did my nails and they came out beautifully. As a perfectionist, I was extra impressed with her meticulous approach to shaping my nails. I'm extremely picky about the shape of nail extensions. It's common, with busy salons, to be///feel rushed but she took her time, checked in with me every step of the way for approval, and delivered literally exactly what I asked for. Everyone who's done my nails there has been awesome, but I will definitely request Jessica specifically next time I'm there. read more

I told her I was a bit of a germaphobe (especially during a pandemic) so I brought my own foot scrubber, cuticle clipper and metal push-down thingy, but she was extremely reluctant to use my tools, which were new and clean. Her reasoning was, she was "just used to using the salon's tools". Needless to say, I wasn't super happy with her response or the job she did. Pros: Friendly staff... lots and lots of color choices. Lily is always nice. Cons: If you find someone you like, always make an appointment with them. And sometimes, you'll show up for your appointment but your person is still working on another person, they'll try to push you to someone else. The bad part about that is that you made an appointment with your person for their work and the replacement probably won't do as good of a job. Ever since Covid, I feel like the skills are subpar. Nothing extra creative, but just a regular pedicure isn't great. Cuticles are not properly done, and the polish is not done with precision. It feels rushed now. So, looks like I'll come here for my mani with my usual person, but for a pedicure... I'll go somewhere else. It's not worth getting a decent job just 10% of the time with a pedi. read more

They put my feet in cold water - despite me saying can we please warm it up... the bit of warm water they added was not enough to undo the freezing water they used initially. I've been sitting in this very spot for thirty minutes.. with freezing cold water still haven't been checked on. Not sure what happened to this place, but as the person I brought in with me is getting a manicure I'll just head out once she's finished, which looks like soon. So disappointed. My girlfriend and I have been religiously coming here for over a year since we discovered it as walk ins. I get my mani and pedi with gel shellac. They have a great selection of colors. All The technicians are really good and I've never had a problem. Sometimes I can get a month of wear. But usually every three weeks I come back only because of the nail growth not because of chipping problems. I love it that they have massage chairs too and I can relax a little. They don't over push extra services just to be able to pad your bill. I like it that the prices are not too steep and you still get the feel like your at a higher priced spa. Sometimes I get a twenty minute shoulder massage that is a great indulgence as an add on. My girlfriend also gets her brows waxed and they do a terrific job.
