What a super-fun find! Excellent cocktails, outstanding service, quaint yet trendy, and everything was delicious!! It's casual and elegant. It's for the foodie and the country bumpkin. It's boujee and laid back. Try whatever they recommend...we've been twice and this strategy seems to work well. Just go and enjoy!!

We went for an early dinner. Loved our waitress, she was so knowledgable and enthusiastic about the menu. Her recommendations were spot on. Started with the zucchini chips and flatbread. The latter was just a bit too sweet for my taste but the burrata helped balance it. For drinks, I wanted to get a hot toddy and it wasn't on the menu but the bartender still made it for me which was awesome. I took my entree to go and the branzino was amazing! Seasoned really well and love that the skin was intact. Will definitely be back!

My husband brought me here for valentine's day so there was a set menu. To start we had the coppa carpaccio and the prawn tempura. The carpaccio was just as expected and delicious the prawn was deep fried in breadcrumbs but on biting into it the shell was still on it not just the head and tail the whole she'll, it tasted awful. We both got barolo lobster and prime rib pasta which was good but didn't blow me away, the lobster was the best part. For dessert we ordered the Panna Cotta and the chocolate lava cake both were fantastic. When we arrive they sat us and gave us a glass of champagne which was a nice touch. Our server was friendly and efficient. We also both ordered a cocktail my husband had the old fashioned which he loved and I had something from a seasonal menu with prosecco and it was like a french 75 very good. The ambience was nice, it was clean and we were sat in a corner by the window. I just wasn't wowed by it hence 4 stars. I would consider going back and trying the food again if in grapevjbe.

So so yummy! Our bartender Kat was so friendly and professional, the drinks were great. The barolo pasta was delicious and beautifully plated. Stellini is casual and relaxed while still maintaining a sophisticated atmosphere, I will definitely be coming back!

Stellini served up a delightful pasta dinner, complemented perfectly by Beau's warm and gracious service. Plus a welcoming atmosphere with full bar and open kitchen.

We had a great evening. Charming space with great service. Hubby really loved the meatballs. The Flatbread was good but would have preferred the prosciutto to but cut up a bit more. Got messy and pulled all the pieces off around it. I had the lasagna and the pesto was a nice touch. A tad messier than the picture online and maybe too much sauce but really enjoyed the flavor. His was the cacio e pepe with shrimp added. Sooooo good. Loved it. We will be back. Good experience. Good food. Good service.

There are decent Italian restaurants, good Italian restaurants, really good Italian restaurants, and great Italian restaurants...Stellini Trattoria is one of the great ones! Looking for great food, great service, great ambiance? Stellini delivers in every aspect! We ordered the Spaghetti Pomodoro and the Scallops Stellini and both were amazing! We were part of a larger group a little over a month ago, but everyone is STILL talking about how amazing the experience and food were when we visited. I am anxious to go back and try some of their other menu items! For example, the one person we were with ordered the Seven Layer Lasagna and I have to say it looked amazing and she kept going on and on about it! The person next to me ordered the Tagliatelle Al Barlo (red pasta with shrimp and porcini mushrooms in a Barolo sauce) and the aroma was amazing. Overall fantastic experience!

Went for a dinner meeting and was not disappointed!! They have a really nice side room for an event that had it's own small bar and restroom. I didn't get pictures of everything but everyone I talked to thoroughly enjoyed the food. Appetizers: 5/5 Charcuterie- was a really great assortment! Meatballs - made in house meatballs covered in melty mozzarella. Was maybe my favorite appetizer! Calamari Steak- I've never had anything like this. Sooo good! Thin flat sliced, perfectly light breading, served over tomato sauce, with herb aioli, cherry peppers, garlic, topped with arugula. Salad: Cesar Salad 5/5 The lightest Cesar salad I've ever had. Generous amount of chopped romaine. Delicious croutons & shaved parmesan with and the perfect amount of a light garlic dressing (not doused). Entree: 5/5 Filet & Gnocchi- 8-oz tenderloin served over parmesan black truffle gnocchi, spinach & mushrooms topped with our signature red wine reduction sauce. That gnocchi was divine! Loved everything about that dish! Dessert: 5/5 They brought us fun (decorated with a sparkler) platters of an assortment of desserts. Cannolis, almond biscotti cheesecake, heavenly house-made carrot cake, tiramisu & a chocolate cake. We were stuffed but committed to trying a bite of each. The carrot cake is worth going back for alone. The tiramisu was also great. I look forward to going back and trying more of their food! Pasta is a must next time. Thank you Stellini for a great meal!

I cannot say enough about how great food and staff is here. I'm just sorry it took me so to leave this post. We were traveling through Grapevine from visiting with co-workers in Dallas. After the wonderful dinner here we had over 12 hours drive to Albuquerque, NM. Everything was yummy and the service we amazing. So amazing that when a co-worker came to CA from TX for training this is the restaurant we talked about. Thank you to the staff for everything!

    Bryan W.

Desiree is the best bartender with the best recommendations! Attentive and sweet! Amazing service with amazing food! The picture does not do the rustic focaccia Justice nor the Amati de la carne pizza! Best italian in grapevine highly recommend!

My wife & I shared the Coccoli to start with, I then enjoyed the Honey Mustard Grilled Salmon and she the Lasagna. My wife was underwhelmed by the Coccoli, but thoroughly enjoyed her lasagna. I on the other hand, enjoyed both the Coccoli and my Salmon entree. I also enjoyed an Godfather Old Fashioned. We went early in the afternoon on a Saturday before enjoying a stroll through downtown Grapevine. It was our first time there, a bit of a splurge for us, but we look forward to going back. Only negative was the waiter was a little over the top with cliche, and familiarity . But over they were friendly and the food was very good .

If you are looking for a charming, "no-frills" spot for classic Italian-American comfort food, this is a very dependable option. The absolute highlight of our visit was the staff. The people here couldn't have been nicer! They were welcoming and extremely accommodating, especially when it came to customizing my order. Food: * House Salads: We started with the house salads featuring their homemade tomato vinaigrette. It was unique--it tasted like they might incorporate some of their tomato sauce into the dressing base. It was okay, though perhaps an acquired taste if you prefer a sharper vinaigrette. * Eggplant Parm & Custom Pasta: I ordered the Eggplant Parm and asked to swap the side pasta for angel hair with vodka sauce. They were happy to do it for a small upcharge. The eggplant itself was quite good! My only critique is that the sauce was very chunky (I like a smoother sauce) and the portion of it was a bit overwhelming, but that might just be a personal preference. * Fettuccine Alfredo: My husband went with the classic Alfredo. He described it as a "solid 7/10"--nothing was wrong with it at all, just a standard, reliable version of the dish that satisfied the craving. Final Thoughts Cafe Italia is a sweet little place that is a decent option if you're hungry for the classics and want to be treated like family. We're glad we finally checked it off our list!

I ordered the cacio e pepe off the specials board and added a house salad. If you do not know what cacio e pepe is, it is a dish with a few ingredients (pasta, cheese, black pepper, cream sauce). You can add protein to it, but it is pretty basic comfort food. Although it looks simple to prepare, I have eaten it in several DFW restaurants where it is atrocious. There is a fine line between delicious and paste with these ingredients, and it needs balance. The service was great. The food came quickly but I was not rushed to eat. The salad was fine - basic, fresh, and the balsamic dressing was not runny. When the cacio e pepe came out, it looked and smelled phenomenal. There was bread included, but I ignored it (which is not the norm for me). After the first bite, I was sold. This dish was freaking fantastic. The chef stopped and brought me fresh herbs from the plants out front (which were delicious). The dish was amazing on its own, and the herbs elevated it to another level of fantastic. It would have been inappropriate to lick the plate, but I did consider it (because the food was perfect). The food was phenomenal, the service was solid, and I will return repeatedly for this one dish. I am sure the other options are great, but this dish was a piece of heaven on a plate.

So we went today. Stella is a very attractive, very welcoming trattoria. Very cool open kitchen bar along one side. Prompt, attentive service and lovely cloth napkins at lunch. As for the octopus carpaccio? Wowzer! Buonissimo! Stella's rendering of the dish is beautiful and delicious. It is topped with savory, mild pink peppercorns; peppery arugula and EVOO.
