So we got the ring back, and not even ONE WEEK LATER! the same diamond fell out while we were at a wedding overseas. One week. So my wife brought it back in to say wtf, you guys "fixed it" but then the same issue happened. You'd think we wouldn't have to pay for it, since they obviously didn't fix the setting. Turns out they want to charge us $100. Whatever. When my wife went to go back after another week of waiting for it to be fixed, they shut the door on her as they were closing and said sorry, everything's locked up. You're a mom and pop shop, not a chain jeweler. You'd think you'd put the customer first and just stay open another 5 minutes to help somebody else. Worst part of it all: the lady said "oh you should have called when it fell out! we probably would have replaced it for free" as she is swiping the credit card. WHAT?! I took my fiancé ring shopping at different places to find out two important things, the cut that she was most interested in and her ring size. Once I got a good idea of what she liked, I realized that I would need a custom touch. I described what I wanted to Jean and he put together an initial design with in my budget. A short time after he went to work finding the highest quality diamond possible. When we met in person, he narrowed down the choices to 3 quality diamonds. He explained to me the pros and cons of each one and he own recommendation. From doing my own research prior, my choice was in line with his so I chose the recommended diamond. After the diamond selection, he showed me the final graphic of how the ring would look, less the custom engraving that I requested. I was happy with the design so we moved forward.
