I took in my Porsche Cayenne to see if they could get me a radio with more modern touch screen (Apple Carplay/Android Auto), install a rear view camera, and make sure my steering wheel controls all work. If you guys don't know, the Porsche factory radio comes with a full fiber optic system, which is not an easy plug and play job. They worked all day on my car and kept the price near what was quoted, even when things seemed a bit dicey. In the end, everything works seamlessly and the steering wheel controls were better than I requested- Steve was able to custom program the buttons in as he had to manually program each one. I got a quote from some other low-end shops which were initially less, but I can't imagine them knowing how to deal with this system's complexities, which makes Stereo Blvd the legit professionals. Would not recommend for Tesla car window tinting. On other cars their skill is ok, since my old cars are all done here. But not this new Tesla. Very disappointed. Paid for all around professional tint on my new Tesla and found numerous bubbles after 1st tint and 2nd repairs. Waste my time to keep driving back for repair and they dont allow repair appointments on weekends. Repairs can only be Mon or Tue. That's ridiculous. read more

Hank, Owner, was welcoming, walked me through different options for an after market stereo and backup cam for my dad's Father's Day gift in his 2007 Tacoma. He provided genuine customer service (as I can say from 20 years plus experience), gave me a great deal, and the installation was clean. The crew at Stereo Blvd is awesome! I was looking to add an alarm w/ remote start capabilities to my Tundra. I called around to several shops - some of whom I've done business with before and some I found on Yelp. I was blown away at how much $$$$ some of these guys wanted (and their crappy attitude to answer questions from a potential customer). I ended up calling Stereo Blvd and the guys were really helpful and their price was way better than any of the other shops I called (the price wasn't even close to the other shops). Now let's be honest - what's the number 1 thing we think about... PRICE, right? That is, until you find a shop that's dirt cheap and then they do a crappy job! When I went down to talk to the guys at Stereo Blvd they were really knowledgeable. You can tell right away when someone's trying to BS you just to make the sale. They got most of the job done? They installed my head unit and back up camera for our car, but they didn't have the dash kit (frame) for the head unit so it was just like left out not attached to anything. They said they were going to order it and I checked in every couple days for 2 weeks and never came in. They said they would call me, and this has been about 2 months now?, when the part arrived and still I haven't gotten a call. They do decent work, the prices are so so, but definitely because of the the lack of follow up and really not finishing the job Is the reason for my rating. I mean luckily it was an easy fix for me. Literally went to Best Buy bought the frame installed it in like 20 minutes. I like giving small businesses a chance because I understand that it may take longer to get things in and I don't mind paying a little more to support small businesses, but yeah a bit disappointing. WORSE PLACE EVER!!!!! I would give them zero stars but too bad that's not an option. HANDS DOWN IF I COULD GO BACK I WOULD OF TURNED AROUND THE MOMENT I WALKED IN THIS PLACE. They are very unprofessional and don't keep their word. I purchased rims and new tires 10 months ago for my Jeep and never got them. I just got my money refunded 3 months ago and the only way I got some of my money refunded was because I kept calling the bank complaining that I never got my stuff. When I purchased my rims and tires my bf also bought some things for his truck. He was happy with what he got and didn't have any issues, until now. He is very disappointed just like I am. Hank the owner told me I was going to get the rest of my money in store credit so I used it on my boyfriends truck. He was supposed to get new speakers,exhaust tip, and a bezel cover. Hank told us those 3 things were going to be done in a week, so we left the truck at his shop thinking it was finally going to be over. But unfortunately we were wrong. It ended up taking them more than a month for just installing the speakers. We would call and also go in person SEVERAL times to see if they were done with the other 2 things but they would always come up with some excuse. One day we got so fed up from all the lies and excuses EVERYONE from the shop would say to us and decided to just pick up the truck. When we got home we checked if he even put the right speakers and of course he DIDN'T. It's been over two months and we still haven't gotten those 2 other things he promised us or the right speakers. We've been calling the shop and they either don't answer us or Hank is never there. Clearly he doesn't want to give us the store credit he or our money back. I came here to do my company van. Had remote alarm installed, 3 door actuators, and reverse beep sensors. I agree with the other yelpers. Hank and Pepe are super super professional. 1st visit - installed tint and added a pioneer nex head unit to my jeep. Tint job was good. Head unit could've used a little adjustment but I didn't bother coming back to have it fixed. 2nd visit - installed tint on my second vehicle. 3rd visit - upgraded my speakers to Morel Maximo's (purchased elsewhere) and had them install/add amp. Sloppy install. They even asked where I purchased my head unit and where was it installed because of the gap. They didn't bother working on it. Also, they left scratches to my leather steering wheel as well as the passenger side arm rest when they took off the seat for the amp, and they broke 4 of my 6 tabs on my panel to access the speaker. They were trying to get me out of there in a hurry once everything was installed. Now I understand why. It is what it is. 2 weeks later, sound was cutting off from one of the woofers. 3rd week, tweeter died (or I thought it did). They used glue and it melted causing the tweeter to fall from its position. So I ended up purchasing a more expensive component component set from Morel just because I thought they crapped out on me and I have no warranty since I purchased elsewhere. Also, they don't know how to tune. No O Scope! They just played by ear from a high fidelity song while EQ was already set instead of a flat default... trying to set gains on a moving target is impossible. 4th visit - i asked to install the tweeters on my new components as portrayed in a similar vehicle and same component setup! Other shops were asking me for my business but I gave stereo blvd another try since they gave me a great price. I also asked to reposition my head unit since they initially installed it. They said they can do it. They ended up installing my $700+ speakers the way they installed my entry level...Glue. This was my fault since I gave them the ok but they talked me into it since they said there's no other way to install it. I should've left at that time but I hastily wanted it done. Installer didn't even tune the amp to match the speakers, and even said he couldn't reposition the HU because one of the clips broke (I didn't know what he was referring to but ok). They should've told me this the first time I had the HU installed. A couple days after my new speakers were installed I notice that there's no accessibility to the amp settings. I had to reposition the amp and while doing so, I noticed one of the screws to my dash is missing, and wires dangling from the passenger footwell with a fresh cut zip tie waiting to cut anyone sitting in my passenger seat. I gave them good reviews for my first and second visit...mostly for the tint jobs. I can't have them work on any of my vehicles nor refer anyone to them from now on. They don't open on time so they should change up their schedule, and they don't check their installers work before handing customers the keys based on my experience. Careless install ... Great job and the job was completed in only 3 hours while I waited. While waiting I had the pleasure of meeting Hank! I got quotes from a few of the top rated car stereo businesses in Orange County, but I got won over by Hank, not only because of his fast response time, but right off the bat he immediately offered me a package deal. And it was MUCH cheaper than the other quotes I received. How could I say no to that?? The stereo I wanted is way, way more expensive than most, but instead of trying to upsell me or just immediately take my money, Hank was very honest and straightforward with me, and warned me of the problems his customers have encountered with that specific stereo I wanted. UN-believable!!! I managed a customer service group for years and I know how hard it is to get everyone on board with being consistently nice and helpful. Training people to take care of customers the right way and go the extra mile is difficult and some people never catch on. But somehow, Hank (the owner) has managed to staff his shop with the most amazingly helpful people. Yesterday I worked over the phone with Hank to select the stereo that would be right for my car. He offered me a special coupon-only deal without the coupon and we set up the install for today. When I arrived, Pepe told me it was Hank's day off. My first thought was "uh-oh, here we go...", figuring Pepe would crank up the price, etc. Instead, Pepe got Hank on the phone and they made it happen without me having to even ask for the deal. Totally stress-free. My install was far more complicated than they expected because my car had some wiring issues. It took a couple hours, but I just relaxed and worked in their comfortable lounge. Pepe checked in with me regularly, told me where I could grab a bite in the neighborhood, and generally made sure I was happy. When the work was done, I figured they would add on a little more money for the extra parts and labor that had been needed, and I would have understood that. But no. Hank was in the shop by then and he said a deal is a deal. After we were done, Joe (the installer) sat in the car with me for probably half an hour showing me all the cool features and helping me change settings to my liking. Super nice guy! Even paired my iPhone with the stereo for me. Before I read all the great Yelp reviews on Stereo Blvd. I went to a couple shops in south OC, closer to my house. Just didn't seem right after numerous times of going into Bristol sound with problems I decided to go to see hank at stereo blvd and they did a complete re-do put bigger better wires big 3 upgrade and wow can I hear a difference.
