UN-believable!!! I managed a customer service group for years and I know how hard it is to get everyone on board with being consistently nice and helpful. Training people to take care of customers the right way and go the extra mile is difficult and some people never catch on. But somehow, Hank (the owner) has managed to staff his shop with the most amazingly helpful people. Yesterday I worked over the phone with Hank to select the stereo that would be right for my car. He offered me a special coupon-only deal without the coupon and we set up the install for today. When I arrived, Pepe told me it was Hank's day off. My first thought was "uh-oh, here we go...", figuring Pepe would crank up the price, etc. Instead, Pepe got Hank on the phone and they made it happen without me having to even ask for the deal. Totally stress-free. My install was far more complicated than they expected because my car had some wiring issues. It took a couple hours, but I just relaxed and worked in their comfortable lounge. Pepe checked in with me regularly, told me where I could grab a bite in the neighborhood, and generally made sure I was happy. When the work was done, I figured they would add on a little more money for the extra parts and labor that had been needed, and I would have understood that. But no. Hank was in the shop by then and he said a deal is a deal. After we were done, Joe (the installer) sat in the car with me for probably half an hour showing me all the cool features and helping me change settings to my liking. Super nice guy! Even paired my iPhone with the stereo for me. Before I read all the great Yelp reviews on Stereo Blvd. I went to a couple shops in south OC, closer to my house. The prices were much higher and the people weren't as nice. I'm glad I drove a little farther because I really could not be happier. Today was one of those rare crazy-good experiences. read more

I went in today hoping to finance some tires that my truck desperately needed. Hank the owner approached me, welcoming me into the shop and asked what he can do. I told him needed some tires and hoping i can get them financed. He gave me a reall good price on some tires and i applied with the finance group they work with. Unfortunately i didnt get approved due to low credit. I had already knew it was a low chance but you never know until you try it out. So i was bumbed and hank made some moves and asked me if i can buy them cash. He gave me a good price and i told him i only have a certain amount i can spend today. So he actually got me brand new tires for that price. He had to ask for some favors and made it happen. This audio store by FAR is one of the best I've EVER been to.. Their level of customer service is ridiculously awesome. I went in there because I wanted a new head unit (Pioneer AVH-2800) that JUST released & they didn't have it but he made sure he had it the next day & gave me a call saying that he did have it & that if I wanted it he would install it that day.. No pressure to buy or anything even though he pretty much got it because I asked. His name was Pepe & he knows a thing or two about customer service.. I worked retail for 7 years so when he treated me with excellent service it made my decision easy, that if I did want it, I would go & see him. I thought about it for a couple of hours & than called to confirm he still had it & went to the store. I got there, he showed me the unit & showed me some good speakers that I could install in my truck (06' Colorado). I ended up taking the unit & 4 speakers for the doors. Like I said, he never once pressured me into anything. I asked about the Viper Car Alarm that was sitting behind the counter because I've been meaning to put one into my truck. He grabbed it & said "Hey man if you want I can install that for you too, I'll hook you up". Sure enough, he did, so I got a new head unit, 4 speakers & an alarm for a VERY GOOD price. Better than other places WITHOUT having to sacrifice quality. It took them a couple of hours to install it all, SHOUTOUT to Vinny as well, he hooked up my audio system & alarm. They even offered me a ride home while they worked on my vehicle but I had someone pick me up. Just them offering to take me home shows how much they care for their customers, because at the end of the day. Customer satisfaction means everything, without that, your business will fail. As soon as they were done with my truck I was completely satisfied with everything.. As I was leaving I was having a hard time connecting my Bluetooth for some odd reason & I'm competent when it comes to audio stuff.. So, I went BACK to the store, mind you, it was past 7 o'clock (closing hours) I told them about the problem & they came out & helped set it up.. Just that alone meant a lot, GREAT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE... The next day I went back to the store to see if they could help deafen some of the rattling. I was approached by a man name Hank. Little did I know, he was the owner of Stereo Blvd, he carried himself as such & when he got into my truck to hear about the rattling he tweaked some of the settings. It fixed the rattling & than he had noticed there was a small wire hanging out, he immediately said pull it up & my guys will fix that. I told him it's fine, I'll tape it up & he refused, he said, "They'll take care of it man, don't worry". Once again, great customer service, even though I was okay with it he didn't want me to leave with that wire sticking out... This place is pretty solid. They were able to help me put my stereo in over an accumulated 3 days due to the fact that they don't make the harness for my car and if they did it was very rare. Pepe one of the guys that helped me out over the phone. Helped with a time slot for me to come by and helped cash me out he was super helpful. Hank who was busy with customers took the time to recognize me as a pair with my car to make sure he knew he could help me out. He had one of his team members hunt down the missing part for my car and I left a happy customer. These guys are pretty great, it feels like a family ran establishment. I called in and was told that a car alarm and automatic locks would cost me $240, the person on the phone didn't make me feel like I was being pressured into a sale, so I decided to visit. The place was clean and there is a cast there very similar to the cast of Pawn Stars. Pepe helped me out and lowered the price to $220 then the owner over heard our conversation about me being a college student and lowered it to $200. Pepe even included a hood switch for me. The only bad thing was that I was promised that it would take one day but it really took two and also they forgot to put in the hood switch the day of pick up and only remembered it because I called before picking it up. I called and asked for the labor cost and approximate time it would take to install. I spoke to Pepe and he told me it would take about 90 min. Got a new Mazda CX-5 but the Bose sound system couldn't shake the windows even if it tried !
