Nice sandwiches with a healthy variety. Did the steak and cheese which was more Chi-town than Philly. Close to the McCormick center so convenient and busy. I side have chairs for those wanting to stay but the vast majority was take out - and the best way is to call before since the wait can be long.

The service was very quick! The lady taking our order was super helpful on what to recommend. I got a Philly Cheesesteak and it was delicious. It was $14.99 and I could've added fries and a drink for $5.49. The cheesesteak was pretty big for the price!

Moved to a bigger location. Called ahead and they had my burger ready within a few minutes. The mix of k&m mixed with the special sauce was a great addition to the burgers' beefy flavor and crisp edges. Super fresh toppings and clean dining area. One issue was the restrooms were out of order.

Great little sandwich spot! I stopped here while visiting and had an Italian Beef sandwich that was incredible! I also tried their homemade chili and was super impressed! If you're in the area and looking for a good sandwich at a reasonable price, look no further!

I'm so mad that I did not find Steve's bite when I first got into the area. Only complaint is that the space is a small store front with only 4 tables. However they rotated people thru pretty efficiently. Was guided by the friendly counter attendant to get the Italian beef and she was 100% on the money. It had a great flavor and had a good level of spice. Only took about 5 minutes to get my order and they were pretty busy. Oh ya my fries were hot and crispy, just how they are supposed to be. Next time I am at the Mc Cormick center I will walk the .4 miles to visit Steve's again.

It's me again. Me & Wifey went here today looking for a eggroll they serve that you can't get anywhere else here. We went especially for the Gyro Eggrolls! Entering it wasn't busy at all. The hostess was pretty dry and it's a shame that she's the first person to set the tone of your experience. She sucked! Sometimes the service can make you or break you. But the good thing about bad costumer is I don't have to leave a tip! I don't tip bad service. They get a 1/10 for service. We ordered the Falafel salad, salmon rice bowl, Buffalo egg-rolls & Gyro egg-rolls. My wife liked the falafel balls and the salad was very fresh. They gave her ranch dressing and my wife hates ranch dressing. They didn't have a choice of dressings. 7/10 for the salad. The Salmon Rice bowl wasn't really a rice bowl. It was some flavorful rice & salmon with a garden salad( that they did dress with oil, lemon & oregano. The salmon was kinda dry. The dish was very basic, straight up and down no special effects. 4.7/10 The Buffalo Chicken Egg-rolls were decent. Nice Buffalo sauce flavor and the size was on point. They gave us ranch & marinara sauce for dipping sauces. Blue cheese would've been better. All in all they were pretty good. 7.3/10 Now the Gyro Egg-rolls the reason for the visit. Let me tell you these things are fire!!! Filled with Gyro meat, cheese, tomatoes & onions. They give you a side of tzatziki sauce for dipping. They taste like a mini gyro! And they too are a nice size. I'll go back just for these. 8.7/10 All in all I'll give them a solid 6.7/10 (Remember all reviews are subjective)

This place has a fun, nostalgic vibe that reminds me of neighborhood hot dog stands from the '80s. The vintage photos and décor give it plenty of character, making it feel like an old-school Chicago spot. The fountain drink selection is impressive, with plenty of choices to satisfy just about anyone. The prices are fair, the portions are satisfying, and the restaurant is clean and inviting. My only drawback is the ordering system. While ordering from a touchscreen is quick and efficient, I think it takes away some of the personal interaction between customers and staff. It's not a dealbreaker, but I do miss being greeted by someone behind the counter and placing my order the old-fashioned way. Overall, it's a great place to grab a bite. If you're looking for a tasty Chicago-style Polish in a casual setting, this spot is definitely worth checking out. I'll definitely be back.

I definitely should've asked for them to fry it a bit harder than that cuz i like mine a lot crisper, but that was my fault. The wings themselves were seasoned well, juicy and hot. The fries were okay too. The lemonade was too damn sweet lol. But that's to be expected really lol. I wanted something sweet to end the meal so i got a lemon cake. It wasn't the best cake but it wasn't bad. I'd skip that to be honest. I also didn't need the 5 wings combo cuz that's a lot of wings lol. You can do the 3 wing combo and still be okay. The staff here were nice. They didn't rush you and were helpful when asked. The ambiance was cool. In the downtown neighborhood so it wasn't bad. All in all I'd want to try it again. They had other sides as well and chicken tenders. They also had sandwiches and other juices. Check them out if you're there. Pics below

Instead of being coated in cinnamon sugar, they had salt on them, making them completely inedible. The restaurant asked us to send a photo, which we did, although I'm not sure how a photo would show whether it was salt or sugar. Unfortunately, we had to throw all of the churros away. What was most disappointing was that we were never refunded for the churros, despite the mistake being on the restaurant's end. Mistakes happen, but I expected them to make it right. That left us disappointed with the overall experience.

That day, there was only one dessert available, the Churro, but it had 6 small churros, all coated with chocolate and caramel syrup. Stress levels were high, but thankfully the folks at the Chicago Passport Agency had everything moving smoothly. With a little time before heading back to pick it up, I figured I should grab lunch. That's when Flaco's Tacos, just a couple doors down, started calling my name. And I'm really glad I listened. The moment I walked in I thought, yep...this is the spot. No gimmicks. No trendy taco fusion experiments. Just the unmistakable signs of a legit taqueria: a Mexican mama working the kitchen in the back, the smell of grilled meat filling the air, and a cooler full of aguas frescas ready to go. I ordered three tacos: al pastor, grilled fish, and carne asada. This was the real deal. No sour cream. No piles of shredded cheese. Just onions, cilantro, and a little squeeze of lime if you want it. The al pastor was the star of the show--perfectly seasoned, juicy, and so flavorful it honestly didn't even need the lime. The grilled fish taco had a great sauce that added flavor without overpowering the fish. And the carne asada was everything a classic street taco should be--simple, savory, and excellent with a little salsa verde. And don't get me started on the Agua de Jamaica. It might seem like a small detail, but the woman serving me filled the cup with just the right amount of ice--cold and refreshing without watering it down. It was the perfect companion to a plate of tacos. You can keep your fancy tacos. Give me Flaco's tacos and a cold Jamaica any day. And honestly? If every passport emergency ended with tacos like this, I wouldn't mind renewing mine a little more often.
