This place is really, really good! When I went there the first time, the super Nice Guy behind the counter saw that I was a bit confused about their menu. I Had no Idea What to get, so he gave me his recomendation on the chicken poppers and gave me a sample piece! He also recomended the fries and gave me a sample fry as well. I'm not that big on fries, But They are the best fries I've ever Had. I picked the sauce, which was a white bbq sauce and it was amazing! He even gave me an extra. My first time at this establishment and I did not expect much. But "oh boy" was I wrong! This was probably the best chicken I ever had in my life. Light golden fried tenderloins with crispy fries. Not greasy at all! And accompanied by so many sauces I just could not decide. I was confused by the choices and actually got a bit nervous, expecting the young man behind the counter to be annoyed. To my surprise, he was super nice and helped me with my selection. All the time calm and smiling, he came over later to ask if all was ok and if we were happy with the selection. His name was James. I love this place! Sometimes you just really want some chicken tenders, and Sticky's does them so well. I prefer to get them plain and take advantage of the great sauce options. I am a French Fry aficionado, I know my Fries. And this place has by far the best French Fries I have ever had. They were perfectly crispy on the outside without being over cooked. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauces are phenomenal. I would like to take two stars away because of the price however. I got a sandwich and some fries, no drink. With the delivery charge it was almost $30. And it's not like it is gigantic portions. The sandwich was two chicken strips with a few toppings. Ordered the medium poppers and the large chicken fingers. The chicken is pretty average, nothing to write home about. The star here is their assortment of sauces. I tried their mac sauce, buttermilk ranch and their cray sauce. They were amazing and the main reason why I gave this place 4 stars. Sticky's Finger Joint has hands down some of the most creative takes on different cuisines fused with chicken tenders. Came here because of my cousin's recommendation. I was skeptical about chicken tenders/chicken fingers in general, because honestly the distance from 'Good' to 'Amazing' in my book was pretty minimal. This place blew every expectation I had right out of the water. First of all, the chicken is fresh, juicy, and not overly fried or breaded. Perfect balance of an outside fried shell and fresh chicken inside. The sauces and toppings are what separates this place from everywhere else. I'm not sure if the sauces are house blend, but they sure tasted like it. Also, the creations they have on the menu are a safe bet if you don't want to mix lots of things together. Lastly, the fries! We all love fries (if you don't, don't ever read anything I post ever again). These fries were otherworldly. Bigger than your average french fry, but not as thick as a steak fry, and neither overwhelmingly fried nor overwhelmingly "potato-y". I went to Sticky's on a Sunday afternoon after having a craving for some fried chicken. I got the Popper basket, which came with chicken poppers and fries and one sauce - I picked Thai sweet chili. The fries were great - they were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. I wish the chicken were that way though, instead the chicken poppers were pretty dry, like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. It was plenty of food though, but I didn't find it appetizing enough to finish. On the plus side, there wasn't a line and I was rung up pretty quickly. Who said you can't find good cheap eats in Midtown? For $9.65 we got the Poppers Basket which had a copious base of perfectly cooked fries and enough chicken poppers to satisfy two of us. Super delicious! The chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked and the crust was just the right amount of fried without being oily or greasy. It came with one sauce and we chose the Mac, a cheesy fairly-spicy creamy yum-fest. We also paid an extra buck for the Green Tea Caesar sauce which I was cautioned is better on a salad but still made my mouth smile. I had a tasting of the Sunny Mustard, too. No complaints. Supposedly the Caramel and the S'more Sauces are also incredible, but I'm not much of a 'chicken n' waffles' guy so I didn't partake in the adventure. I called the restaurant and said I wanted to bring them back for a refund. The rude person on the phone, Rasked if I had a receipt, one was not given to me, but what the hell did that matter if I have container full of their disgusting product. If they are so scrapped for cash that exchanging $7 order of fries needs a receipt they should work on getting something so simple as an order of fries right and provide quality customer service. My child wanted wings for his 12th birthday dinner. We could walk here from the hotel so we gave it a try. He enjoyed the wings! I tried one of the wrap sandwiches with grilled chicken. If you get this tell them only a bit of sauce. I was literally squeezing my sandwich and letting the sauce pour onto my plate. It was ridiculously covered and not in a good way.
