Another one of my faves. This food hall is open later so it's a great choice when you're walking around Waikiki. From the street you just walked. But also validate parking so that's always a plus especially in Waikiki. It's strictly an Asian food court with lots of Ramen, noodle, musubi, udon choices. They have tons of smaller restaurants, so you have many choices as you walk around.

Back again, cannot get enough of their cold kitsune. Nice ac too, very fast and friendly service. Yama udon.

We opted for Ramen Bario for lunch. In my opinion, this is a typical ramen establishment. I ordered the Bario deluxe ramen, which was good, but not great. I didn't realize the noodles were much thicker than traditional ramen noodles. I will definitely try the other noodle establishments during my next visit to Waikiki.

Noodles broth everything was perfect! And flavorful

Such a low key hidden little gem off the main road. So many different vibes whether you want ramen, sushi udon, pad Thai etc. Can't remember the name of the place but it had the udon noodles like a little cafeteria. Walk thru the assembly like and they make the soup on sight. Best broth I've had in years! Service was great. I'll def remember to come back here again!

STIX Asia ( formerly Waikiki Yokocho )has been open for a couple of years now...it shut down during the pandemic. It is a part of the Waikiki Shopping Plaza. Kai Coffee is on the street level with boutiques and shops catering to tourists. I had a long black while waiting for Stix to open; operating hours are daily from 1100 till 1000p. The food court is on the lower level. It can be accessed via Seaside Avenue via stairs; the other entrance is on Kalakaua Avenue on an escalator. Noodle Street has Ramen Bario. But I wanted to try Kyoto Katsuda. There is more of an Asian theme but the food hall is primarily Japanese eateries.

Fun Photo Booth with a red interior. A fun souvenir!

What a fun food court! It's truly an experience just walking around this basement level, hidden food court. Make the trek below to experience being transported to an ethnic food adventure. Although we didn't eat here (tbh it all looked so good and we were a bit overwhelmed lol), we did hop into the photo booth for a mini photo shoot. The husband and I had a great time in that little red photo booth striking poses and laughing our butts off. Best $12 we ever spent on photos! Highly recommend for a fun stroll, photo op, and I bet the food is great!

My favorite dessert :) a matcha ice cream parfait

Having two kids that are picky eaters, we love coming here because they have such an array of choices! Pho, fried chicken, tempura, sushi, Chinese dishes, Japanese dishes, udon, musubi, ice cream! We love how you can just choose where you want to eat, and then after, get dessert! (They have sorbet ice creams AND matcha, parfaits, etc, so you get a good variety) This place is a casual atmosphere, so it's a good place to meet up with friends or to just eat out as a family. Parking is pretty easy as well since you can park in the garage and you get the validation at the desk (across from the musubi place) ("when you show them your receipt from where you ate (though you still have to pay for parking, it's not too pricey)

It was cool to walk around and see all your chooses. Maybe we should have chosen a different place to eat. Food was so so. Really now service as it was like pick up your own food. They did make our noodles that did not really wow me. All in all fun to check out bit there is better food elsewhere

Very cool space! This is a must try for mostly Japanese and Korean options. There were also two Vietnamese (Pho and Banh Mi) and Hong Kong options. Something like a really nice food court...in the basement. I tried HK Cafe (Hong Kong). Tasty option. Central bathroom requires a code from your restaurant receipt.

I think this is a newer food court on Kalakaua, since I don't remember it on my last visit. It's on the lower level and there are plenty of options to choose from - udon, sushi, sandwiches, ice cream, onigiri and lots more! It's a nice option to get a little bit of everything or if you have different taste preferences in your group. It's also a nice way to escape the sun on the main Waikiki strip and take a break in the AC for a while!

We came here around 2 pm and it was almost empty. Upon entering, there is a huge directory with the restaurant, cuisine, and layout of the food hall which was so convenient. We wanted noodles so we went to the noodles section and picked a restaurant from there. Each restaurant had ample seating and the table service was quick. I also went to nana's green tea and got a sweet potato matcha pudding drink which was so delicious! They call out your number and must present ur receipt to grab your drink. This food hall is definitely an easy option if u know u want Asian food but don't know exactly what.

My friend and I were recommended this Asian food hall and I'm glad we decided to go! It seemed like mostly Japanese food, but I also saw Chinese, Hong Kong, Korean, Taiwanese, and Vietnamese! I love the overall ambience and how it is inside Waikiki Shopping Plaza so it has AC. There is a Noodle St side and an Asian Food side. It wasn't too busy but it was a Tuesday Afternoon around 2 PM when my friend and I went. Service was very fast and efficient at both places we went to. My friend went to Nana Musubi for some musubis first. He said he enjoyed them. They had a variety of musubis with brown and white rice. We both got food at Udon Yama. I had a lunch set for $9.99+tax which included a small curry rice bowl and kake udon! I enjoyed both and would definitely come back to try more food at this restaurant as well as the other restaurants in the Food Hall!

    Tonkatsu Teishoku
    Kathy T.

We got tonkatsu at the Stix and the food was amazing! There are a lot of small Japanese and Korean restaurants underground with seating for each individual place. This is a great place to go to get options. For the place that we went, service did take some time as there was only one worker having to take orders, clean, and process payment. However, I would still highly recommend visiting!

The egg in tonkotsu is as also stone cold and overcooked. My broth was hot and flavorful. The food has good flavor but some dishes are hot and some are lukewarm. Service: The server eventually came back and asked what was wrong with the Soyu ramen because my husband barely touched it. He said the egg was cold and the broth was lukewarm. They said the egg is supposed to be cold. We explained we have been to Japan and I grew up in Japan and explained that is not how ramen is served in Japan. They came back and said the manager was made aware of the ramen. The server then said many customers complain the broth is not hot enough. The sauce to dip the noodles in was good. It was flavorful, salty, and sweet. My wife had a bowl of ramen. I got to try the soup and it tasted really good. I also like how thick it was. I don't like thin soup on my ramen, so this I really liked. My daughter was gulping down her noodles... just shoving it into her mouth. That is a huge thing for me because she's picky with food. We also had the potato mochi. I also liked that one. It had good texture, crunch, and chew. It was brushed with a glaze. The flavor was good. I'm not a chicken karaage guy. But I'm mentioning it because we ordered it. The chicken karaage were good chunks of chicken. Not like other places who give small chunks. My wife liked it because it had more chicken than batter. Service - The Place had good service. The food came out on time. Servers were checking up on us without hovering or being overbearing. They paid attention when we called asking for help. I was listening to the workers, and they seem to like being there. I mean, "work is work", and no one REALLY LIKES going to work. I'm pretty sure we'd all rather be someplace else besides work. Maybe I caught them in a good mood, but, it genuinely seemed like the moral in the place was good and the people working there that night didn't mind being there. Vibe - Small, family vibe. I liked that there was buzz but it wasn't loud. When we came, most of the people there were older, but as we left later in the evening, a more younger crowd started lining up and coming in. That tells me, they appeal to a wide demographic/pallet, which is good. Overall, it's going on the list of places to go back to and recommend. Overall, what had been something we'd been looking forward to for years turned out to be a dismal disappointment. The experience left us feeling unwelcome, particularly because it seemed the staff were uncomfortable with two men simply going out for lunch. Being a Black and Asian couple shouldn't have any bearing on how paying customers are treated, but unfortunately, that's how the experience felt to us. We can overlook mediocre food or service, but feeling judged or unwelcome is something we won't overlook. Unfortunately, this is a place we won't be returning to, and based on our experience, we would not recommend it to others.
