Got the STK Cheeseburger for takeout (which is also available on the Happy Hour menu if you want to dine in) and it's honestly one of the best values in downtown Denver. You get a nice big cheeseburger with a side of homemade chips. High quality and fresh ingredients. Their special sauce is good and reminds me of In N Out sauce which is a compliment. This is a win for sure!

Great experience at STK Steakhouse! We had a party of 14 and our server was amazing, attentive, organized, and kept everything flowing smoothly. They timed our pre-ordered apps perfectly and cleared the table right on cue for the tomahawk steaks and sides. Our birthday girl had a great time. We brought a cake, but since it's $5 per person to cut and serve, we boxed it up instead. The restaurant is definitely a vibe perfect for a girls night out and not too far to walk down market street (or uber/lyft) to the bars. For larger groups, the "private" open seating area requires a $2,000 minimum spend with a $1,000 deposit to book. Parking is easy with garage validation next door or valet available. Keep in mind valet will end when the restaurant closes so if you plan to stay out later, let valet know and you can pay so that you have your key to take your car at the end of the night. Super kind guy by the way!

I've been to a lot of steakhouses, and after spending the last three days in Denver trying 6-7 affordable restaurants, I had higher expectations for STK. We were told it would be comparable to places like Capital Grille or Michael Jordan's Steakhouse, but it didn't quite live up to that. First, our food took over an hour to arrive, which set the tone for the evening. Surprisingly, one of my favorite part of the meal was the bread. I ordered the steak frites--the steak itself was actually pretty delicious, but the fries were cold and underwhelming. My husband had the NY strip with a peppercorn crust and mashed potatoes. The presentation was just okay; honestly, it looked like something he could make at home but he LoVED it and he loves steak. We also tried the lobster mac and cheese, which was decent but nothing special. We didn't order drinks, but our server was kind and clearly did his best. Still, the overall experience dragged on--we were there for about 2.5 hours. The atmosphere felt more like a club, with a DJ playing, which might appeal to some. I didnt mind but definitely lively atmosphere. This was our first time visiting STK in Denver, and overall it was just okay. I'd give it a 6/10, mainly because of the bread and my steak. Unfortunately, the rest didn't impress. ** also my server gave me a chocolate cake because I was celebrating two major milestone but the cake was okay too.

Went for a bachelorette party, my birthday, and a reunion with old college friends and it was such a great time. The food was amazing, the drinks were on point, and the ambiance was perfect. The music set the vibe without being too loud, so we could still actually talk and enjoy each other. This was my second time here, and even after not visiting for over seven years, it was just as good as I remembered. Honestly, the food was so good I didn't even stop to take pictures, which says everything.

That STK Happy Hour is lit. Great food. Great prices. Definitely love the Vibe in there. Thanks again STK. yall showed us love with the anniversary cake slice. Very rich. Very tasty.

Really sexy vibe with fantastic service that was right on point without going over the top. Knowledge of menu was top notch. We were not steered wrong! Those Parmesan crusted mashed potatoes will live on as THE mashed potatoes to beat. Great DJ and when Shots, shots, shots! rang out, we saw the sparklers and servers bringing us shots. The whole experience was superb. No notes!

Sat at the bar on a Thursday night. The place wasn't very busy. The music wasn't too loud. I enjoy STK it gives millennial steakhouse vibes. I ordered a filet with mashed potato's & a cosmopolitan. My steak was delicious I inhaled it. Our bartender was very quick with service too.

Came here during Denver Restaurant Week. The service was great and the staff were attentive, but the food unfortunately didn't live up to the expectations. We noticed that several of the items offered on the Restaurant Week menu were also listed on their happy hour menu, which was a bit disappointing. The skirt steak didn't resemble the typical skirt steak we've had at other restaurants, and the potatoes served with it were completely flavorless. The cheesecake tasted like something you'd buy at a grocery store rather than a restaurant dessert. Also the upcharge for a single shrimp was $6. Overall, great service and atmosphere, but the food could definitely be better for the price.

Popped in for happy hour! They have amazing happy hour prices compared to their regular menu prices. Our waiter, Alfred(o), was energetic and attentive. Drinks were $9 compared to $23 any other time. They have a 3, 6 and $9 food menu! I tried the lil burger & truffle fries, short rib quesadillas and steak frites. All tasty, bite sized dishes. I will say, for the plates to be as small of servings as they were, food service was extremely slow!! I had 2 drinks before any food hit the table. I had a great time enjoying the ambiance and the photo stand.

I can definitely see the appeal of this restaurant. After all, it has a primo location, valet parking and the ambiance is amazing! Unfortunately, I found their actual steak and cocktail flavors a little lacking , considering the price point. I've had much better steak at other locations further south.

Then the food starts showing up and suddenly the whole table is passing plates around because everyone keeps saying "wait, try this." We ordered a bunch of things and the smoked carrots were probably the biggest surprise for me. I would absolutely go back just to eat those again. The masa birria, diver scallops, and grilled artichokes and asparagus were all great too. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly and came with duck fat potatoes, which immediately puts me in a good mood. Dessert also fully delivered. The banana cream pie with black sesame whip was one of those desserts where you keep going back for another bite even when you're already full. It just felt like a really thoughtful meal from start to finish. Definitely one of my favorite dinners I've had in a while.

Wow moments - an ice cream cone, miniature "popcorn", and delicious cocktails. But... the food tonight overall didn't live up to the 2-star billing. My first issue: I left hungry. And I'm not a big dude. 165 soaking wet. That really shouldn't happen. We've been to a bunch of two-stars in NY, DC, Tokyo, and Paris, and they mostly program in a heartier, larger main at some point that lets the guest fill up. The wagyu was tasty but... it was probably 3oz of steak. Second: the service was over the top. We had two trainees tonight, and man were they trying hard. The descriptions bordered on melodrama, and they really struggled with interrupting and trying to subtly hurry along one of the slower eaters among us. That really shouldn't happen at this level. Too much service; it shouldn't be noticed when it's done right. We love the Michelin guide. Wolf's Tailor is a gem, and it certainly deserves a star. But the overall experience fell short of two tonight. I hate to include it here, but we had a better meal at Beckon (1 star) a couple nights ago.

It was unlike any lasagna I've ever tasted, wonderfully creative and absolutely delicious. Although it couldn't be plated separately, they provided extra plates so we could easily share. We couldn't resist dessert and ordered the Flourless Fudge Torte ($14) with milk chocolate ganache, cherry compote, and vanilla crème anglaise. It was every bit as decadent and delicious as it sounds, and the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. Between the exceptional food, attentive service, and welcoming patio, we left feeling pampered, well-fed, and truly appreciated.

James beard tortellini truffle!…read more I had a great time here at this restaurant. I used OpenTable to get me a reservation right before closing was like 30 minutes before and I arrived around 45 minutes before my before closing. Ordered a little bit. Greeted and checked in, got a seat right in the front. View was the beautiful street lights. Kyle was my server for the night and he gave me a great layout of whats were the good things to have. I already had the tortellini in mind since it was featured in James Beard awards so I got that it was really cheesy and the truffle was really powerful and then I packed a punch. It was a little bit underwhelming however, I really enjoyed the artichoke soup with chili sauce or chili and then I also really like the beignet. I think I didn't have to go with the seafood. I only had a little bit of the octopus and I was like I don't think I'm gonna get this next time but the next day it was a delicious left over for lunch. It look like a paella. Pretty elegant spot, and recommend for date night spot. Ps loved the starter bread with lavender fragrance. Also the rosemary bread was a majestic touch too!
