Food is always great but last time I was there I found out my plate was dirty. Once I cleaned up my plate of cesar salad I found what looked like bbq sauce on the bottom of my plate. It was sticky and seemed old. I hate bbq sauce so I'm positive I didn't accidentally get any in my plate. Really gross. Wash your plates better, please. I told a server and she asked if I wanted a new plate but what's the point? I had already pretty much finished! She even saw it and looked grossed out. I hope this doesn't happen again because their breadsticks and mashed potatoes are my fav. :( read more

My family loves this place. We only order take out. It helps a lot after picking up kids from practice. We order stimulus package. For $30 it feeds all of us with 1lb trip tip, salad, 2 topping pizza, and bread stick. Makes life a whole lot easier having good food for take out. read more

Absolutely wonderful experience here last night. Managers William and Erica were professional, welcoming, and went above and beyond the call to make our dinner experience superb. The staff there was warm, welcoming, and eager to get you whatever you needed. For a great family dinner, I highly recommend coming here. The food was prepared perfectly with melt in your mouth French dip beef and pizza that I couldn't stop eating. All the ingredients tasted fresh and had me wanting more. So disappointing with this visit to Stonefire. Our family loves the Favorites Pizza, but this one was so lacking in the flavor. It seems like they totally skimped on the pesto sauce and only a little Gorgonzola cheese was on it too. Really boring. Certainly not worth the $18 cost for pretty much a crust. stone fire grill, when it comes to you wanting a great salad this is the place to go. I like, nope scratch that I love their south of the border salad.. Been here twice. The first time, the grilled chicken and tri-tip were plentiful and tasty. I can not say the same for my second visit. I ordered the same dish, the combo grilled chicken and trI-tip, however, this time, the tri-tip was only a tiny portion, chewy and tasteless. The chicken had no flavor. Unfortunate, because I really enjoyed the food the first time and thought this would be a place I would frequent, but this last visit totally turned me off. I won't be back. read more

Poor dining experience and food. Ordered some potato chips, two tritips, a chicken and some ribs. The potato chips tasted gross, like it was soaked on unclean oil for a long time, may likely be that the chip were dropped into the fryer before the the oil (unclean) even gotten hot, so the chips end up getting soaked rather than fried. Both tritips came out well-done, rather than medium as ordered. Ribs came out hard and dry like jerkies, I almost choked while eating it. Worst of all, there were grease underneath my platter and then platter dripped grease all over tan colored shorts, so I had to go home and change immediately after eating! read more

Great portions. Tasty food. But super noisy. Could not hear inside so sat outside. It was 103 degrees. Will not go again if it's hot.

We ate here as a followup on 12/20/10. My significant other is a Texan, and knows good Texas barbeque. Except for the baby back ribs, this is not such. Unlike prior visit in which sauce had clear consistency and tasted like vinegar, the barbeque sauce had apparently been stirred before being placed in the dispenser, so it actually had the consistency of ketchup and had some smokey flavor. Paradise iced tea -- still watered down. Doesn't the restaurant recognize that people put ice in iced tea, or is this just cost savings at the customer's expense and restaurant's profit? Bread sticks -- actually had pesto sauce in the bread sticks and were good. Salads -- very fresh vegetables, generous serving, Ranch dressing tasted homemade and had great flavor. Chili lime dressing -- bland (again one suspects staff does not know oil rises to top and should be stirred before serving) Baby back ribs -- truly good, juicy, well-flavored, arrived piping hot, and sauce was good accent. Tri-tip -- arrived luke warm as though it had just been taken out of refrigerator and momentarily placed on grill. Meat was very bland and had no seasoning. Chicken -- Overcooked, cardboard-like consistency, without a fresh taste --definitely not good. We had both the garlic lemon as well as the barbequed chicken. From the taste, and observing cooks, it appears the chicken is smoked previously, stored (in refrigerator?), dipped in the sauce, and then recooked on the grill (meaning overcooked). The lemon garlic sauce would be a garlic lover's delight -- raw garlic gloves cut in half, with slight lemon flavoring in an oil base. Service -- Once plates brought to the table, virtually non-existent. Of course it was our mistake that male servers were apparently trying to arrange party plans with a group of high school girls at a nearby table. When we asked one of the servers why we could not get someone to bring the garlic lemon sauce as had been ordered (and had been requested three times after the food came), the response was that waiters and staff are not assigned to zones. It showed. In sum, if all you care about is quantity rather than quality (for barbequed items as opposed to salads), this is probably a restaurant for you. The restaurant needs much improvement in fundamental service (stirring dressings before serving), as well as how to cook chicken. Drinks should also not be watered down. At most, this restaurant is 2-2.5. There is much better barbeque than this. read more

Went there for dinner & it was very busy. Ordered a chopped BBQ salad & asked for Dijon Mustard dressing. Could not taste any Dijon Mustard but tasted more like watered down buttermilk dressing. Also noted that as of recently you seem to get less meat on the salads. As a prior big fan & frequent diner, I was disappointed. No better than third place compared with Rib Ranch (#!) and Wood Ranch (#2). Ribs were ok, Caesar salad was very good, but the baked beans were an abomination. Storefire should be ashamed to serve the beans. Perhaps they should eat at Rib Ranch and plead with RR's chef for their baked beans recipe. read more

I love this place! They have the most delicious South of the Border Salad. Order this salad w chicken and tri trip its delicious. Add some breadsticks and you will be full the rest of the day. We can't help loving this restaurant even though technically it's not bbq. The portions are perfect, the service is good, the food is above average tasting and the sauce is yummy! The prices are good for families and retirees alike. Even the salads are above average. If more restaurants used this business model less of them would go put of biznez. read more

This is one of my favorite places. I love their breadsticks and their chicken, They have an amazing cartwheel salad. The chicken is juicy and tender snd so delicious. The prices are good and the customer service is outstanding. I go here at least once a week because i love the food. Even the roast beef sandwich is delicious! I went to a memorial on Saturday, Oct. 24 in Granada Hills. It was catered by StoneFire Grill. In the heartache and chaos of the day, StoneFire was given the wrong arrival time. They arrived when they were told, and then graciously stayed as long as possible to take care of the reception guests. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious, there was something for everyone including salad, mashed potatoes, tri-tip and chicken. The breadsticks are the best! Ordered from their catering for 15 people for a business lunch meeting. Great food; great catering! Everything was wonderful!! Only drawback was I had to pick-up because they do not deliver unless it is 20 people or more. I said I would pay a delivery fee but still not available. I came here for the first time today. The line was long and slow at the hostess counter. When I finally arrived and asked for a table for 2, I was told that I place my order with the hostess or whatever you might call her. We find our own table and she gives us a gps type of gadget so our food can find us. I wasn't prepared to order and just waited in a long line and didn't want to wait again so I hastily picked something I thought would be easy. I didn't care for the less than full service system. I would have accepted that if the food was good. It wasn't. I ordered the half chicken. It was so dry that it posed a chocking hazard. I could barely get it down. My wife had a salad that was overwhelmed with onions. No thank you. read more
