Great place to order take out, esp with their deals. Mashed potatoes taste homemade, and probably the best that ive had. The portions are very generous, and the chicken and trip tip tastes home cooked and flavorful! Def a go to for take out! Ordered several times and everything comes out piping hot and fresh. The food is good and the portion is huge for the amount they charge. Bring friends along and share is the way to go...unless you have friends who are germophobic like one of mine. She had the wrap so she can eat it by herself and complained how untasty it is, while the rest of us shared a creamy, greasy, but delicious bowl of pesto pasta, and equally sinful ribs. BBQ tri-tip salad - Basically a southwest-style salad of roasted corn, black beans, and tri-tip chunks. Drizzle it with their tangy bbq sauce for ultimate effect. Chicken - No, not just chicken. It's hugged on all sides by loads and loads of chopped garlic. Straight up juicy. Breadsticks - Also smothered with garlic sauce. Deeeelicious. But make sure it's fully cooked, as it came undercooked one time for me. Pesto Pizza - Veggie delight, even for carnivores! Pesto pizza is definitely a win. The running belief in tipping of the restaurant is "only tip if you want to." They stand firmly behind that motto, even posting up a newspaper clipping mentioning it. The restaurant aura is very conversational, which is the point of why it was founded. Apparently the founders were looking for a restaurant that offered good home cooking, family-style environment, and a minimal service atmosphere, but couldn't find any. Either the food sucked, it was too elegant, or you were expected to pay an enormous tip for a waiter to stand by and pick up your dish after you were done and fill your already full glass of water with more. And thus, Stonefire Grill was formed against the grain. And they've stuck to their guns for the most part. This is the weapon of choice when going out for a casual dinner with the family. This place isnt like a regular restaurant, you need to order first before getting a table. They have really great food! Especially if you go with a family that loves to eat. The ribs are amazingly good, my favorites from here are the garlic/cheese bread sticks! I literally can eat 6 of them, if only I could eat more without gaining it. The bbq chopped salad is good, they have 3 sizes small, medium and large. I always get LARGE i have a family of 5 so they love it. The pizza is really good too! So your Saturday lunch staff has zero sense of urgency. My fiances food came out 15 minutes before and not even a single thank you for your patience or sorry for the wait. She literally put the pizza down and walked away without saying a word which is cool if there wasn't a problem to begin with. Really bad service and definitely not worth the 40$ I spent on lunch for two people. Been a regular at this place for over four years and I'm so satisfied every time I go! Their meat is always so soft and their breadsticks are to die for. I always take home the extra breadsticks and put them in the freezer to eat later :) Their pesto pasta is amazingggg! Their staff is always kind and receptive. It was my friends birthday last week and our first time at Stonefire Grill. When we entered the building one of the ladies greeted us we were a table of 5 and she gave us a table right away and said go look for your name on the table so we did find it and all of us sat down not knowing we were supposed to order in the front of the restaurant. We sat for at least 10 min with an empty table then went back to the front and had to ask are we supposed to order in front. That was disappointing. I only gave it 2 stars cause the food was okay but another thing to keep in mind is they will serve ALL your food that you ordered at once so your appetizers and entrees. That would of been good to know as well. The only time someone actually came to our table was when we were done with all our food and started cleaning the table that's the ONLY time someone came by our table other then bringing food to our table. read more

I used to be obsessed with Stonefire Grill and if I wasn't dining there I was thinking about the next time I would go. However, something has happened. The entrees do not taste as good as they used it! I remember thinking that the ribs were the best ribs I have ever had, but we came here recently and it was literally fat, more fat and a little bit of tasty meat. It was just not the Stonefire Grill I remember. Even the garlic bread didn't taste good and the mashed potatoes were burned! AND served burned.. go figure. I won't be coming back. read more

I went to stone fire grill with the idea that my wife had placed an order with them until I got there. It was very interesting because they had the same exact name and initial of last name as my wife who had placed an order. I paid for the whole thing until I looked at the order and noticed Pizza which is something we rarely order and the total wasn't the same number as what my wife had told me. I called my wife to find out about the order and I put her on the phone with the cashier which within seconds we realized I went to the wrong place. What I was most impressed with was how helpful they were about the whole thing and apologetic on their end while the mistake was on my end. I quite frankly would've to have stone fire grill tonight but a pregnant wife gets priority over me. Great job to the entire team for making the process easy and smooth. read more

This place has GREAT barbecue! It was fairly cheap and the portions are huge! I ordered the half slab of ribs with a mashed potato side. It was not crowded and the food came very fast. The food I received was huge. The half slab of ribs was over a foot long and the bowl of mashed potatoes was the size of my face. The breadsticks were alright but fairly bland. This was by far, one of the best barbecue places I have been to in a long time. I loved the barbecue sauce that they used too. It was the perfect amount and flavor. This place is a must! read more

Although their service was great along with decent prices I find that specifically for the tri tip that it is chewier than most other places I have been to. Tried out their new lunch menu. I ordered the petite salad with salmon and a bread stick. While Stonefire's salads are solidly delicious, I was disappointed to have such a dry salmon. Far cry from their salmon meal. It seems like they just boiled the salad salmon dry and served it because it had the dried out fish boil between the flakes. read more

I love eating here. Their lemon garlic chicken is really yummy and juicy. The lemon and garlic are very prominent and I love it. They have tons of garlic pieces that tops the chicken, but lately I've seen less and less. I get their half chicken with the Greek salad, the dressing is tasty but get it on the side, they tend to drown it if you don't. I've also tried their tri tip with BBQ sauce, it's good and the sauce is pretty tangy and not too sweet. I always order a side of their hot pesto sauce to dunk my breadsticks in, the breadsticks are so soft with a bit of crisp, but delicious. I've tried other things on their menu, such as the pizza. Good but not great, I think the chicken and meat is what this place is known for. The butternut squash soup was tasteless. And lastly, I've tried their cookies. I wouldn't order that again either, very stale and not worth it. The reasons I keep coming back are for the chicken and bread sticks. Give it a shot. read more
