Stonefire is a staple go-to for meals for my family. There's something both my picky kids and husband will eat. I do have to knock off a star because something always lacks every time (service or food). My to go items are the cartwheel or Caesar salad, Salmon, tomesto, mac and cheese and breadsticks. Service can be super slow at times and often they forget to bring out an item or bring it super late (like at the end of the meal). Once they forgot to bring my my teriyaki salmon. Both hubby and I had finished our salad and breadsticks and he also finished his pasta when we asked about my salmon. Turns out they forgot to make it for us so since we were at the end of our meal, we asked them to refund us. Another time they forgot our breadsticks (come on now!), and often they do not offer the free kids drink when I order kids meals for my kids. So let me start by telling you that I love Stonefire food is the best you'll get for your buck. The food is made as if it were Mastros Steakhouse except the price is so much more convinient and reasonable. You can feed a family of 4 with just $50 dollars. This is my 2nd time coming here and my husband who,is usually very very picky and likes his home meal instead... He said it was the best food he's ever had, to exagerating but it is amazing food. I come here at least once to twice a week just for their Ceasar salad. I am obsessed with the dressing they use it is insanely good. Great prices and delicious food for family style dining. The tri tip bbq style is my favorite, which is cooked to perfection (I like it medium) and seasoned well. In Mid-February I had an issue with Stonefire Grill. I was so upset that I ran out of the restaurant and onto my computer to submit complaint to the corporate website. The next day Kristen emailed me back, apologized and took care of me. I knew that was an isolated case, so tonight I went back to Stonefire. A 180 degree change. The staff was really nice, my order was ready and out the door for a take out order fresh and hot. A shout out to Brenda T. who verified by order, cashier, runner and gave me my order. When my family needs a place to carry-out we call Stonefire. We sometimes eat there but we really go for the Stimulus package deal for carry-out. This is an awesome deal! There is plenty of food for my family. We get a 1lb of bbq tritip, 2-topping medium pizza, a small salad of our choice (usually the greek), and 8 breadstick. All for about $28. I would've given this more because the food is good. I just don't like the pre-pay/pre-tip method. All the employees are teenagers and don't seem to care much about pleasing us. The weren't rude, but they certainly weren't working for tips, even though I pre-tipped them. Every employee we asked for something were on their dinner break. I used Stonefire Grill for my Wedding and everyone like it. They also help me with the cake cutting and that was very helpful, you pay a little bit extra for that but is worth it because you don't have to bother a family member to help you with the cake, and is more elegant having you catering people doing both, the serving of the food and the cake. The food was delicious, plenty of food for everyone and for the next day, the service excellent and their catering customer service excellent, too. So we go to this stonefire as well as the fallbrook one at least 3-4 times a month. This place is really great! You can get a delicious pizza as well as great BBQ in the same establishment so everyone in your family is happy. They have a great ceaser salad as well with some quite strong but awesome dressing. I only gave it four stars because it's usually packed and seating can be a little difficult and because the other day I had a small sliver of bone in my BBQ chicken pizza..it was tiny but my tooth sure felt it:/ great place just watch out for the lil bones and don't forget the carrot cake for dessert! read more

Im so sad that I never reviewed this place when I liked their food better. They used to hv the best salads around. Seriously we would order one and a pizza every Friday night. I have no idea what changed or even when it happened but the past 2x I have gone in (in all fairness I have not been to another location recently so ot may just be this one) I have ordered a petite salad and a small margherita pizza. As always the pizza is great, but our tables have been dirty.. the plates or silverware must be inspected just to be sure and their salads are minced within an inch of their lives. I literally had a hard time eating it with a fork (a spoon would have been more appropriate) and the salad itself was wet... like it had been sitting in water and then plated. Like I said this has happened the last two times I went and after the last time I refuse to eat watery minced salad. Maybe CCC is worth the extra cost afterall. read more

I usually come here only when my mother-in-law wants to eat here. Instead of my usual tri-tip and mashed potatoes I ordered a petite cob salad and baked beans. The cob salad dressing was very bitter and had too much pepper. The baked beans were NOT baked beans (to their credit they were not listed as such on the menu but, the cashier, when asked, said they were baked beans) they were just cooked beans. I will give the manager credit, she asked me if I wanted something else and I said no. She refunded my money and even refunded the drink (which I finished).
