    Prime rib and ahi tuna

I was so sad when my friend told me that Stoney River would be closing in June2026. I had been wanting to try it so we made a reservation there this past Saturday night. It was a good thing we did have reservations because the place was packed. I enjoyed the southern martini and the prime rib which you don't see on a lot of menus. My boyfriend got the ahi tuna. Both were excellent! Service could've been better but I'll keep this at 5 stars.

Awesome experience! Every visit to Stoney River is always a good one. The food was excellent. I highly recommend their shrimp toast and steak rolls to start, and their house-made rolls with whipped honey butter are heavenly! They're also very generous with the lamb chops--serving six in the dinner portion. The ambiance is amazing as well, with plenty of comfortable booth seating and cozy fireplaces in the dining area. The service was a 10/10. Angel took great care of us, and I hope to have her again.

I have been coming here off and on. I had my wedding reception here back in 2013. It was fitting to dine with my sister friends this past Friday night. I made reservations online and it was quick and easy. We were immediately greeted at the front desk and was escorted to our table which was near the fireplace, which is my favorite spot to sit by for fine dining. We all were able to review the menu and specials and didn't feel rushed to order. We each had our pick. I had the calamari, where one lady had the lobster bisque, and the other lady tuna dip. For our entrées, two of us had the coffee crusted steak, and the other had the salmon. Everything was amazing and we each enjoyed our meal.

Monday Happy Hour Bartender/server : Jalen Jalen was very attentive and had great food recommendations . Stoney River only has 3 apps available for happy hour. I chose the deviled eggs. They were good but the bacon was so hard ! Like , you almost can chip your tooth trying to chew it. Maybe it was fried another day and stored overnight? Idk. I think the kitchen should make bacon crumbles if they're not going to make fresh bacon. I chose a Malbec wine instead of a Meiomi because they only serve Meiomi by the bottle. My entree was the steakhouse burger and I swapped fries for Gouda Mac n cheese. I asked for medium well done but the burger arrived Raw . The Mac was piping hot ... no complaints. Jalen made sure the kitchen fired another burger for me and I just took it to go. The best part of this early dinner was the service and the fresh rolls with honey butter .

Stoney River is such a hidden gem. From the hostess to the wait staff, it's always a welcoming environment. You have options to sit at a regular table for four, a booth or one of the two seaters near the fireplace. The food is flavorful, rich and abundantly portioned. For this visit I had the steak trio, cheesesteak egg rolls and the cheesecake. I would certainly recommend these dishes as well as the ribs, steak and biscuit, shrimp toast and the massive slice of carrot cake. The restaurant doesn't miss!

Stopped by for lunch after a tech visit at the Towson Town Center Apple Store. We were seated at a booth facing the gas fireplace- very nice! Our server was friendly and helpful. Loved the warm rolls and whipped butter to start. Good iced tea. Ordered the shrimp appetizer and wedge salad to start. Followed by chicken sandwich and meat loaf dinner. Lots of food, took enough home for dinner, which worked out great. We would definitely return! It was a little tricky to find best way to get there is to walk past the Apple Store on level two all the way to the escalator at the end where you can go down to Stony River restaurant. Cheesecake Factory is there also.

It was my first day back in the country and I wanted a good American lunch! This hit the nail right on the head. It was absolutely delicious. I sat at the bar but the restaurant was pretty empty so there were plenty of seats available. The bartender was very attentive and nice. The chicken tenders with a loaded baked potato hit the spot! I'll def be back for dinner so I can try the lamb chops.

My husband wanted a quality steak for his birthday, but also a family friend place for our nuggetarians. Our service was great. The waiter was prompt and checked in often. Our steaks were just OK. Not seasoned as well as we'd prefer but the add-on accoutrements added flavor. The mashed potatoes were meh. It's hard to find a steakhouse with great steaks AND great sides. The standout was the steak eggrolls. I could have made eaten 10. Not sure if I would refer but overall it was a good experience.

Stoney River delivers lively service, delicious offerings, and a warm ambiance. Greeted with delight at the host, we were immediately sat by the fireplace. We warmed up to drinks, starters, complimentary bite-sized rolls and butter, and salad. Mains followed thereafter, and everything came out on time. Wine pours were steady, and our server was incredibly attentive. Everyone complemented their dish, and all were so pleased. We appreciate the care and attention received as we celebrated a special milestone of a colleague. Oh, the chocolate cake is heaven on a spoon... so dangerous. I'll be sure to take one home next time.

I found every part of this experience to be great. The interior was modern but quiet. The bathroom was also upscale. The service was really prompt, and my water glass was never empty. Starting with the bread, it was a unique and incredible cinnamon poppy bread with a soft and creamy butter. I had the prime rib which was thick and juicy and didn't need the au jus, but it still added amazing flavor. Each entree came with a potato, and the parmesan fries were just loaded with cheesy goodness. His steak was cooked perfectly and the baked potato was cooked perfectly with crunchy salty skin. We shared the broccoli which was good, and the smoked gouda mac and cheese really had great smokey flavor. Every dish was great, and the place started to get packed later in the evening. Reservations strongly recommended. This place is great for a special occasion or if you just want to treat yourself to a nice dinner.

Ordered: Bourbon voodoo: 7/10 I got it randomly and it wasn't bad Coffee cured filet mignon: 9/10 ordered medium and it was amazing. Juicy and the coffee crusted well. Would get again. Creamed spinach & Mac and cheese: 10/10 both were creamy and extremely flavorful Customer service was overall very good. No complaints from me. Will return

How are the gluten and dairy free options? Do they customize or just here's what you can order?

My daughter has both dairy and gluten allergies. She had the salmon with french fries which she said was delicious. You can ask them to leave off the dairy based sauces.

During my recent trip back to Baltimore, my friends and I made reservations for four on a Saturday night. I'll admit, I was convinced my GPS had failed me when it led me into a business park. Just when I was ready to question my phone's navigation , BlueStone appeared like a hidden gem. The restaurant was large and looked upscale from the outside with plenty of free parking, making the first impression even better. We were seated immediately, and the hostess greeted us with a genuine smile that made us feel right at home. The ambiance is warm and inviting with a perfect blend of casual elegance. There are several dining spaces throughout the restaurant, including private rooms that would be ideal for birthdays, rehearsal dinners, or other special occasions. Our server was attentive without hovering and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our evening. We kicked things off with cocktails, including a French 75, White Cosmo, and Blackberry Bandit. Every drink was expertly crafted, but the French 75 was the undeniable star of the night, I enjoyed it so much I ordered a second. When it came to dinner, my friends all chose the crab cake entrée and they all enjoyed their food ( they are locals), proving that Bluestone knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to a well made crab cake. I ordered the Ocean & Gulf entrée. My dish included a jumbo lump crab cake, deep-sea scallops, and Gulf shrimp served over forbidden black rice with sautéed vegetables in a honey garlic beurre blanc. Every component was cooked perfectly, and the flavors blended together so well that each bite felt like a little celebration. It was one of those meals where the conversation pauses because everyone is too busy enjoying the food. As if dinner wasn't enough, we finished with Taharka Brothers Honey Graham and Vanilla Bean ice cream. It was creamy, rich, and the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. BlueStone exceeded my expectations from the moment I pulled into the parking lot until the last spoonful of dessert. Great service, good prices, decent portions and expertly prepared food and cocktails. Definitely an atmosphere that's perfect for everything from date night, a family celebration, to a girls' night out. This has officially earned a spot on my list of must visit restaurants every time I come back to Baltimore.

It was busy because of the holiday but Bluestone has a lot of seating. I asked the 3 girls at the front for a table with good lighting. The hostess didn't hesitate and we were seated immediately. There was a Fathers Day special of 2 separate entrees . Our Server Jake told us the Steak was sold out . That's pretty good for them. Sounds like I should try the steak another day if they have it. I wanted a small plate and Jake gave me 3 recommendations: BANG bang shrimp, mini crab cakes, & Crab Spinach dip. I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and the beet salad. This was another "live in the moment" dinner for me. I am deciding to be more deliberate about enjoying my food and not taking as many pics. Everyone on Yelp has the same pics of the same food. The beet salad was so good. Very appealing plate. The Bang Bang Shrimp were swimming in sauce but still tasty. I really wanted to try a new red wine Jake recommendations were : JEZEBEL & Alta Pavina. I chose the Alta Pavina (a high alcohol content you may only need 1). I wasn't feeling like a Jezebel on Sunday and decided to wait for a Friday night for that red wine.

I loved the amount of Shrimp they put on the sandwich, the way the Shrimp were fresh, and the seafood seasoning they put on it was a very nice touch. I give the sandwich a 9.5 out of 10. The Creamed Spinach came soaked in Amaretto with Provolone Cheese melted on top (sorry I didn't get a picture), and I love Amaretto as a drink. So, I had to try this as a side. It was overall good. HH-House Wine (Red/ White) - Refreshing Broccoli - Came out cold, sent back for hot broccoli. HH-Steamed Shrimp - Plentiful and yum. HH-Grilled Lamb Chops - Tender, well plated, savory. HH-Thai Chili Wings - Amazing flavor, great texture and temp. Fries - Ok. Room temp. HH- Spinach and Artichoke Dip - Very good. Plentiful. Yup, I'll surely return to hang out w the future if tomorrow.
