I figured this place was hyped but wanted to check it out anyway. The employees welcomed us in and they have a small menu but it works. The place is clean and nicely decorated. We went with a meat lovers and veggie pizza. They were freshly warmed and the bottom of the crust was nice and crisp with a good amount of toppings. I was pleasantly surprised the pizza was good! Flavor was good and slices were big. I'm glad we got to stop in!

Good pizza, especially for the size/price. They have a smaller menu, but don't be misled--they've got a good thing going on. Friendly service, nice and clean inside, great pie to order for pickup! We've ordered from here 3+ times, we go with the meat lovers or the classic pepperoni and neither have ever disappointed!

Pizza had a better flavor than I expected. Only downside was the bottom of the crust was very floury/powdery.

Afternoon special: 2 slices and a drink $8

Hadn't tried this spot yet, so I looked up reviews and headed over one afternoon. I heard they offer a lunch special: 2 slices and a drink for $8, M-F 2-5pm. The place itself is colorful and inviting and I put in my order easily. They have a soda machine with a variety of drinks, and I got a mix of regular and cherry Dr Pepper. I got their cheese and veggie slices and they were heated up in a few minutes and put in a to-go box. The slices were large which was nice, however not much flavor to them. I added salt when I got home and that improved things. The texture was good: thin, crispy crust. I love a good deal and this one was worth it.

vibes are cool and can definitely see the owners influence with the custom led pics of the cars. music is great and the counter guy was cool too. prices are cheap with a very small menu. the pizza was just not good :/ it's edible just not good pizza.

Quick, easy, and tasty -- Strad Pizza is a solid grab-and-go spot when you're craving a good slice of pie! We finally got to try their pizza after first checking them out during their grand opening event. That day was packed (which was cool to see with all the cars and buzz), but it was so busy we didn't get a chance to actually try the food. Glad we came back and finally got to enjoy their slices -- definitely worth it. They offer big New York-style slices with a few variations ready to grab, heat up, and enjoy. It's a true grab-and-go vibe: the space inside is small with just a couple of tables and a stand-up counter. If you're lucky, you can snag a spot, but it's clearly designed for quick stops. They do have plenty of tables outside, which is great -- though in the Arizona summer heat, it's tough to really enjoy those patio spots unless you're brave (or eating fast!). Between the four of us, we tried the pepperoni slices (a hit with both kids and my husband) and I went for the veggie slice with jalapeños -- great flavor and just enough heat. Everyone walked away happy and full. We also grabbed one of the Strads refill cups for $8 -- you can bring it back and refill for just $1, which is a fun perk. That said, it would be great if they offered lids for the cups -- especially if you're taking it to-go or trying not to spill in the car. Price-wise, it was about $50 for four big slices, three regular drinks, and the refill cup. A bit on the higher side for pizza by the slice, but the convenience, flavor, and portion size make it fair. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area and need a quick, satisfying slice!

Must've gone just right at the dinner rush it was very busy. It was pretty expensive. Pizza is over six dollars a slice. Three Nutella knots are eight dollars. It adds up quickly. Very limited seating But overall, very clean inside Staff was friendly

Pizza is SUPER thin and crispy. The flavor is mild and it's not too oily. I didn't feel like crap after eating it which means they're using good, real ingredients. I'm from Philly so I'm picky about pizza but this is definitely extremely well made, similar to east coast slice shops! The self-serve ice cream is delicious, very creamy! Pricing is extremely fair $8 for slice and ice cream. I'll 100% be returning. 8.5/10 for Arizona standards which warrants 5 stars.

The employees were incredibly kind and we love the inside vibes of the pizza place. We got a few slices and they basically just reheated them and put them in a box for us. It was just okay, not the best but not so bad that we wouldn't go again. Next time we plan on trying a whole pizza to see if a fresh one is better! The opening night car show was pretty fun too!

Look at the slice area closely. On my visit today, there were a bunch of fruit flies hovering over the veggie pie. I got a small cheese slice for 6 bucks which wasn't that impressive. This is people going to eat here because some YouTube guy is rich? And getting richer on tasteless pizza. This is not what ex NY people are looking for...only generation tasteless.

Pizza wasn't anything to blow you away however it was still a solid 7. Even though it's a new york slice wish there was ranch. Service was amazing and staff were super friendly. Ambiance definitely unique and surrounds James' collection of cars. This spot would be so good if it was a late night option.

The hostess was very friendly and led us back to the community table near the bar. Our server/bartender was busy at the bar and taking orders. No smile, a no- nonsense personality which is fine, just not friendly at all. My husband and friend decided to do beer flights. They enjoyed except for one of the beers they said had no flavor. I opted for a Tito's dirty martini which is my favorite drink. They enjoyed the beer flights but unfortunately when my martini was delivered, I swore the glass hadn't been properly washed as it had a sweet, coffee taste. I let our server know and she immediately took it and said she would make another which was great. I did see her grab a new glass. Unfortunately the new martini tasted exactly the same. Almost like a terrible espresso martini with olive juice. It was not drinkable. Either she didn't know how to make a dirty martini or the olive juice or vermouth went bad. I couldn't stomach the drink and felt nauseous so left it. We ordered a Chef's Board. Cheese selections, plus pepperoni, salami, prosciutto, mixed nuts & fruits, olives and fig jam. They missed the nuts, fruit and olives. The meat and cheese were good but it was a basic board. We should have ordered the pizza instead as everyone around us had a pizza and it smelled delicious. Our first visit was not the best experience, however, we may give it another try and check out the pizza instead.

I was very rudely told by the manager, their online reservations were turned off, and there was no reservation for us. He then said, I should have known that they weren't accepting reservations, especially if I didn't receive a confirmation! It was offensive as I make a number of online & phone reservations, without getting a confirmation, and have never had a problem. Why should the customer assume that your reservations are turned off? There are a number of ways this manager could have resolved the situation, but he chose to blame the customer, which especially under these circumstances, (& in the restaurant business) is never okay. Never-the-less, there are so many pizza/Italian restaurants to pick from, we will be patronizing them from now on.

I have tried pizza all over the world (surprisingly good Napoli-style in Sydney AU), and lots in NYC, all over Jersey, Hartford, Detroit, Chicago, LA and San Francisco. I just found IL Bosco's most consistent. Well, last night IL Bosco was FIRE, and changed everything. My friends and I went simple this time...just salad and pies. They were impressed by the dressing on the Kale salad, and the flavorful pancetta. But the pies!!! We wanted extremes...that would complement each other so we went with the white Alba, with caramelized onion, sautéed mushrooms and a honey drizzle. The slightly salty cheese was a beautiful palate cleanser from the other amazing pie...the ZA! With Hatch Green Chili, Pepperoni, Peppadew peppers, red sauce and cheese with hot honey...it was the opposite on the red pie/white pie spectrum. And they were cooked beautifully. A just-right hint of char, beautifully light and flavorful crust and flavors that hit you individually rather than as a mess, they combined careful execution with intense and wonderful flavors. That moved into my #1 slot! And, instead of wine, we all had a Menabrea beer, one of my favorite Italian brews. The hops and subtle citrus and caramel notes worked beautifully to show off the pies.
