Pink tips by Ammy! My last set lasted 3 weeks with no lifting at all. Topically when I go to other technicians my hair gets stuck on my nails after a week and a half. I use cuticle oil a lot and wash my hands very often too. She's great Previous Review - I walked in Friday and got a new full acrylic set. They sat me down right away. Ammy was my technician and she did a beautiful quick job. I showed her a reference picture and she delivered! I had card issues but the ladies were very understanding. Yes, I did pay eventually. Best pedi I've gotten in a while. They were super busy when I walked in and I didn't have an appt. (Sat at 11am) But the lady at the front said it was fine. Actually, she asked me for my name and number and then kind of waved me away. She was so crunchy! It was hilarious watching her everytime someone came in. She looked so mad the entire time. Anyway, was happy to have my mask on because the smell when I walked in was SO STRONG. Seriously gotta open some windows or something. I wish I could give this place a better review. I went to Strawberry Nails for about two-three years. It used to be high quality, but now it's just horrible, horrible, horrible quality. They may have renovated the inside of the store, but don't let the decor fool you. You'll leave wish jagged, badly-shaped nails, and if you're as unlucky as me, you might even have a burn on your leg from the hot rocks that your nail lady was too lazy to check before she put it directly on your skin. I got a gel manicure every time I went to Strawberry. On multiple occasions, I left with nails not filed down correctly and jagged on the edges and not filled in well on the sides or bottom. The shapes were so ridiculously different that I didn't even know if they had shape in mind or were just filing/cutting carelessly. I found a new AMAZING nail salon after my last experience with Strawberry, when two of my nails were VASTLY different lengths. Are you kidding me?! HUGE difference. (Photo below.) Parking lot pedicures, what a time to be alive! We easily got appointments for two people midday during the week. Even though the pedicures took place outside, we were still required to enter and have our temperatures checked and sign a liability waiver. (FWIW their handheld thermometer is likely faulty; both my friend and I showed temperatures in the 80s, which means we were both dead.) The outdoor pedicure stations have plexiglass partitions separating the guest from the employee. To select a color, we were given several swatches of colors, passed around from person to person without any sanitizing in between. This was the only sketchy part of the service. Prices, understandably, have gone up -- regular pedicure is $30, deluxe is $55. Overall we are both happy with our pedicures, and sprung for the deluxe since it had an amazing 15-minute massage. read more

This review is far over due. I am a lonnnnnnnng time customer and almost two years ago new owners took over. They are constantly trying to upsell you or get you to do other services. It's annoying and for some unknown reason, they all of the sudden became very cold and rude to me and my brother, giving him dirty looks when he talks. I honestly think it's because he's gay. The other thing that annoys the hell out of me is they are always taking shit about the customers. I know this because my caucasian friend (who was born in Vietnam) came with me twice both times she commented about them talking about customers. I came here with my friends and the workers there were super kind. I was seated super quickly and my nails matched the photo reference super well. I would say I had a good experience, but there are a few disclosures... 1. I am Vietnamese and the workers are too, so it was a good experience for me because I understood them and I could be super clear on my needs. During my experience there, I did see from drama with customers who did not know the language. Depending on who you get, you may have a bad experience, but it all depends. 2. My cuticles did hurt a little bit when they began to buff my nails, but if you tell them, I'm sure they'll be intensive. The first employee I had was pretty rough to my nails and made the acrylic nail crazy thick, but I easily got it fixed with no extra charge, so that really boosted up my experience. The second employee who fixed my nails was super kind and gentle, and even offered to add more designs. 3. Make sure to tell them what you want fixed as they do it. It really makes the experience easier for them and you. I saw lots of reviews displeased, and it's may be because the complaint was done after everything was finalized. Fixing something finalized is a lot harder than during the process. Overall, I had a pretty good experience. Just be kind because they can be quick to judge, but their work is great. SCAMMERSYesterday was my first time coming to this nail salon. Overall customer service was a 6 out of 10.. I did a pedicure on my toes. I ask the nail tech for the menu and I point at the VIP package plus I request the nail tech to do acrylic on my toes. The nail tech even repeat what I said.. I explain to them I wanted acrylic toe nails since I don't have a full nail. That's when the nice nail tech laugh and three other ladies came and laugh and say I had no nail.. I laugh uncomfortably since I was kinda in-shock what they said. I notice they kept talking about my pedicure. Before my pedicure was done the manager charge me before I was done.. she said they were closing and she wanted to charge me so they can close down and leave.. once the manager charge me. I was done with my nails 15 minutes after. Well I notice in the VIP package .. it comes with hot rocks, sugar scrub, 20 minutes massage and ect. They didn't do NONE of the service the described the package that comes with it not only that they didn't did my toes acrylic.. there was nothing I can do because since she already close the register. I called back the next day stating of what happen. The manager said the nail tech did a different package and didn't put fake nails due to it being more expensive. But they still charge me $70? Like what? I tried to understand where they were coming from. But if I request something they atleast should communicate and tell me which package they were going because I'm looking at the description of the $70,$60, and $50 and none of them describe what I did. I tried to explain to the manager but she kept me on hold and not going into details on why I was still charge $70. If I didn't do the $70 package or acrylic nails. Please if you do come here make sure they do what they says on their menu description, make sure they can do it not just how they want it, and make sure they don't charge you before your service so they don't scam you like they did to me... learn from my mistake read more

She was SUPER nice & perfected my nails without questioning me on how I wanted them. I'm a pretty basic person when it comes to my nails. I like them short, thin & square. Everywhere I go, nail techs try to convince me otherwise as to what I like. I've been getting my nails done since I was 16, ten years later, I still know what I like & will not be changing my mind. Cindy didn't question me or tell me what would "look better" she just did what I asked. She took her time & my nails are literally perfect. We talked the whole time & I felt like I got to know her. This place is a horrible business, all together. Staff is rude, rushed, pushy. The space itself is small and disorganized. Their massage chairs don't even work! I have only used this salon twice and I will never go back. The woman that did my pedicure yesterday not only did an all around horrible job, barely scrubbed my feet, didn't massage my feet at all, but she painted my toes as if she were a child. My nail polish was uneven, all over my toes. I asked her to fix them multiple times and she snapped at me and didn't fix them! I don't know her name because she didn't have on a name tag but she's a younger woman, blonde-ish hair, glasses. After getting no help from her I called the manager (sally) later on and asked for a refund, told her I would gladly send pictures over to show her my horrible pedicure. She said I would need to come in and she would issue me a refund. I go in, she is rude as well! And unhelpful, she was unwilling to issue a refund because the "services" had already been done. She did however have someone else re paint my nails (as I do this review actually) I would never come back here just based on how they treat customers and handle problems, not to mention their equipment is old, broken and everything looks dirty! Her English was terrible and she began to do my nails not in the way I asked. which was a gel manicure with tips. before I let her begin I pulled my hands away and said no you're not doing what I asked. she looked at me dumbfounded. like I had six heads. the owner walks over, a short, middle aged hobbit looking man and gave me attitude because I WAS NOT satisfied. um excuse me, but your little business card says " quality service is the key to success" LOL okay! Today is 2 weeks since I've had my acrylics on and the first week the GEL polish started peeling then flaked off and today one nail broke off!!!
