The issue with the plumbing first occurred when I disposed food down the garbage disposal and used it as I always do. I noticed that the garbage disposal didn't sound quite right. Both sinks filled up with water, food debris, and would not drain properly. Fast forward, Felix from Streamline Plumbing arrived. He conducted tests and inspections. He left to grab his equipment and went right to work. After only approximately ten minutes, he was finished. My sinks and garbage disposal were functioning again. He properly cleaned up after his work, once finished. He explained to me that the issue with my plumbing was a build-up of excessive amounts of sludge. He stated that sludge builds up over time, and it's not due to any "wrong doing" on my part. He said it's a normal occurrence that's bound to happen after several years of use. This was the worst plumbing experience I have ever had. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Streamline Plumbing Solutions to anyone. The technician, Kenny, arrived late, was constantly on his phone for what sounded like personal calls and texts, and was rude, condescending, and unprofessional throughout the appointment. He was cussing loudly because he was frustrated and, in my opinion, appeared to rely on brute force instead of proper care and skill. My original issue involved my shower valve and a leaking tub drain area. Instead of fixing the problem, Kenny made the situation worse. In my opinion, his careless handling caused further damage to the shower valve area and damaged my lower drain spout, which now leaks. He also caused cracked tile on my shower wall from hitting it with the wrench when he was muscling the old cartridge and slipped back. When I asked what was going on and why he was having an issue, he snapped back, "Are you a plumber?" I responded that I was not. He then yelled at me and my sister and told me I should "shut my mouth" because I did not know anything. When I became concerned and started watching more closely because the work did not appear competent to me, Kenny told me and my sister that "it would cost double" if we watched him. That is an outrageous thing to say to a homeowner who is simply concerned about damage being caused inside their own home. The damage did not stop there. When inspecting the leaking drain from below, he poked a hole in my downstairs ceiling drywall under the tub and then pulled down a large section, leaving a big, ugly hole and a mess all over my floor. A decent-sized section of otherwise good drywall was torn off as well. He claimed it was "going to do that" and said it was not his fault. When I asked if he was going to address the additional drywall damage he caused, he basically told me the damage was my problem. After causing more damage and failing to fix the original issue, he told me that redoing the tub drain, overflow, and P-trap would cost thousands of dollars. He then said he needed to make a call and went out to his blacked-out van for almost 45 minutes. When I went outside to see what was going on, he ignored me for several minutes, finally rolled down the window, said he was on the phone, and then told me in a condescending voice, "You need to go wait in the house," before rolling the window back up. When he finally came back inside, he said my AHS warranty would not cover the damage he caused, that it was going to cost a lot, and that I could call AHS, but he was leaving. He left my home with the plumbing worse than before, a leaking lower drain spout, ceiling drywall damage, and a mess on my floor. In my opinion, this technician was careless, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. Streamline Plumbing Solutions turned a plumbing issue into a bigger plumbing problem plus drywall damage. This was a horrific experience, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. read more

Had Streamline Plumbing Solutions install new water heater in our home through American Home Shield with out of pocket expense of $1650. Within less than four months, I have to now pay more $1100 to repair for botched installation from Streamline: (i) The vent installation done by Streamline plumbing fell from ceiling within a few months and requiring costly re-installation. (ii) According to the new contractor, Streamline Plumbing did not check for incoming water pressure before installation and now the temperature & pressure (T&P) relief valve of the brand new water heater has failed and needs replacement. The new contractor and American Home Shield is now asking me to pay another $1100 to fix the botched installation from Streamline. If you do end up with Streamline, please ensure you call them back within 30 day warranty period if you see botched installation or any other problem. I missed pointing out the minor T&P relief valve overflow immediately after their installation and now have to pay another thousand dollar to fix their botched installation. read more

I had a complete house copper re-pipe as well as a tank-less water heater installed to supply hot water to my two bathrooms. My other water heater tank which is relatively new was kept for the kitchen and laundry. I also had two bibs installed for outside watering. Needless to say it was a big job.
