Bottom line, they stripped my oil plug to the point that it would not come out. They admitted to it and Kyle even offered to fix it at his house if I purchased the new oil pan. I was not comfortable with that so Kyle and Jordin (manager - store 172) said they would file a claim with corporate. I went ahead and had the oil pan replaced by an auto shop I trust. Cost me $800. Corporate said they would not reimburse and their regional manager has stopped returning my emails. I have four cars and maintenance control over another four locally. Everyone - family and friends - comes to me for auto advise. Don't use Strickland Brothers, period. They left a good customer high and dry. Makes no sense. All my business goes elsewhere now. Can't trust a company that treats customers this way. VERY DISAPPOINTED! read more

Went there last week for oil change. Shout out to Joe the manager. It probably costs more to get your oil changed at Strickland Brothers but people come because 1. They are quick. You can sit in your car and about 10 minutes you're done. 2. Honesty and transparency. I'm willing to pay a little more so that I can see and have conversations if I have questions on what they're not supposed to do with my car. I've gone through other places that ushered you to go wait in the lounge area and come out to deliver bad news on your car to fix things from greed that may have caused by themselves with lack of integrity and ethic - those places will not do well. I may have visited once but once was all you got from me. SBs are always transparent as I could see them while they worked. I've used SB at different locations and so far, they all have ethic. Now this might change as employees move out or corporate policies change with new owner. If/when that time comes, I will come here to update this review. 3. Staff: this was my first time at this location and Joe was very communicative on what he was doing and his recommendations. I took my car in at SB other location and the staff there told me that my oil level was still high (I topped off myself due to long distance drive) and didn't take advantage but told me to come back later when I drove some more. Great customer service. Flores greeted me with a bottle of water. He and his partner were both very pleasant did a thorough check of lights and tires. Offered a recommendations without pressure. Reviewed my service level options for buy vehicle. They did a great job from greeting to completion. I've been here twice, once for a state inspection and more recently for an oil change. For my oil change I was helped by Kyle and Jordan, both very nice! Both times have been awesome experiences, which is rare to say as a woman who's been to multiple mechanic shops. They're always super welcoming, accommodating, and quick about completing their services. They have never tried to unnecessarily upsell me, but they do bring attention to important services I may want to get done in the future which I personally very appreciate. For example, during my oil change Kyle was nice enough to point out some issues with my brake pads and battery (said it looked like it was leaking battery acid), but never tried to pressure me into getting the services done that same day, he only told me his own recommendations and left the decision up to me. I also brought up a recurring issue I've had with my car and he gave his opinion on that too. Their services are a little bit pricier than other places I've been, but I think it's worth it for the amazing and quick service I always get. I will be back!! read more

Wish I had found this place sooner!! I went to Firestone (like I have for years) for an oil change. Then I discovered oil leaking from my car. I came by Strickland Brothers so they could have a look and they found all the mistakes Firestone made (gauge was missing so oil leaked all over the underside of my car, filter was loose, etc). Kyle was AMAZING! He quickly fixed the problem and was incredibly kind and helpful. I will only be coming back here in the future. read more

These guys are amazing. They pointed out that the local Honda dealership I have been using for years did not change my oil and filter the last time I visited them. But they certainly charged me for it. They changed my oil and filter, performed an engine crank case flush, rotated my tires, and changed my air filter. All those extras they either suggested or I asked for. I highly recommend this business. I will be using them for all my oil changes in the future. read more

I was in desperate need of an oil change and just 30 minutes before closing they still took me in! They needed to close a couple of minutes early for an upcoming inspection but they were still willing to change the oil in my car and they did it with no complains. Joe and the other gentleman explained everything that was down and even insisted in putting air in my tires since they were low. As a women, it can sometimes be intimidating going in to get anything done to your car, but I'm so glad that I came in!!! I will continue to bring in my car here! read more
