Gorgeous facility and they do a great job of separating the bowling lanes with plexiglass. Incredibly slow to get our drink order from the bar and even though they say masks are required, it is crystal clear that "policy" is not enforced. At least a 1/4 of the clients either did not have a mask on at all or had it dangling from one of their ears without their mouths or nose covered as they moved throughout the entire facility. The staff walked by these people repeatedly and not once did I witness anyone asking them to please put a mask on. This was my first time frequenting any entertainment establishment since the pandemic began. I only went after calling ahead of time to get the lowdown on their COVID precautions and was satisfied with what I was told. During the pandemic we were dying to get out with our tweener kids. We were amazed by all of the activities under one roof. Even the food looked good but as experienced parents you know better than to rely on chuck-e-cheese grade food at airport prices before you know a place. Fast forward and we visited again last week. The food was really bad, like super really bad!! The few young people that acted like they appreciated having a job and were service oriented stood out... the food was terrible- stacked nachos were a pile of cold nachos with something that resembled avocado cold dressing dripped on top. Burgers were also horrible, cold and flavorless. Asked them if they could heat up nachos and they brought back the same thing but young kid confidently smiled and said they were remade and asked me to try them before he walked away. They were they same cold mess so what could I do? the world was stacked against him like this pile of chips. I smiled and said thank you and left him a Tupi for trying so hard. After spending $200 on the 3 of us for some games, 1 hr bowling and plus food we went to redeem points for prizes... WOW it was carnival style of 100 of the same stuffed animals that slowly progress in size up along the wall like the pop-up carnivals that suck you in at ring toss game, other wall was crap rubber toys that made no sense and then larger versions up the wall. It was a large amount of money to drop on this experience. The police security outside were probably the nicest factor in this experience. Not sure where management was or who does hiring but it's obvious most working there don't want to be there. I run customer service depts, process development and I've had better experiences at random convenience stores in the middle of no where. I have visited Strike + Reel several times here in Garland. This is such a place of fun, relaxation and entertainment. This model of movies, food, arcade, and bowling all under one roof is unique. I have met several of the managers, Andy, Joe and Selina, all are so gracious with their customers. David the bartender took care of all my lunch needs. My favorite meal in the dining room is the stacked chicken nachos, can't go wrong and the price is so reasonable compared to the size of the meal. I took home over half the meal and the wife loves them, oh sorry she was at work when I went to enjoy my favorite local lunch. read more

On 06/11/2022 we went to watch Jurassic Park and 20 minutes into the movie we placed an order. We were a group of 6 individuals. We placed orders for all of us and out of the 6 we were missing 3 drinks and a entree of wings. We inquired with our host/waitress status of our food and drinks and was informed we would receive our food/drinks soon. No one ever showed up with the items. We kept pressing the button and no one showed up to attend us We did see them go and attend other customers but never returned to us. This all happened during the showing between 9-10pm. We did speak with the night manager to address the situation and she did not seem to care and did not resolve our situation and let the waitress talk all over her and nothing was resolved. Someone else was suppose to help us and instead went to the kitchen to dance. We are very displeased with our visit and request that the employees be informed and review proper customer service and attending to customers in the future. read more

First time watching a movie and dining there. Ordered food 10 mins after movie started. Received our drinks (water) almost an hour into the movie. An hr after the movie started, we still haven't received our food. Asked multiple waiters for napkins & ketchup. One waitress said "oh did you order food? Then the ketchup will come with it". What in the hell? Who makes those types of comments? How hard was it to just give napkins ??? It's common sense! I ordered chicken tenders and they were smaller than my fingers. I'm an adult, but these tenders (and the company) should be ashamed of themselves for how small they gave them out. The nachos were nothing spectacular either. Not worth coming back especially with the service I received. I've had better elsewhere. We loved this place! I saw a movie while my husband and kids bowled..movie seats recline AND there is a seat heater if you get cold. The bowling cost was reasonable and the food was good with large portions. We will be back! read more

Beautiful facility, I was astonished how well decorated it is. As I walked in on a pretty busy day, it was a Saturday. Went to bowl and there was a young lady that told me it was a 3 to 4 hour wait, I ask her why a long wait and she told me that the waiting list was towering up. As I waited a young gentlemen came in. He added me to the waiting list and said it was a 2 hour wait. As 2 hour past turns out we got the lane but it was fill with dirty plates and cups. This young gentlemen he went over to clean it and let say he was like a flash. He cleaned our bowling lane under 25 sec. I was in disbelief how someone manage to clean something that fast. Believe his name was Kenny but props to him. Then things turned down hill after that. We wait a long time for service, no one came to order food. Once we got the food it was cold and our time was over. I talk to the manager and she was really rude. Won't ever order food from this place again but the bowling have no problem. I have never written a one star review in my life. If I could give 0 stars I would. They made us show ID at the door (which was fine), except they only made half of our group show ID. Also one of the cops at the door made rude comments about two of our outfits. Then we were squeezed into a small area (for over $100 for an hour and a half), and never got a server. We went to the bar to get drinks and the bar tenders ignored us (the bar wasn't busy at all). Our server, who was really nice, was taking care of way too many people at once so she didn't get a chance to take care of us. Once we ordered drinks we waited over 30 minutes, and half of them never came. Then a buzzer dumped my full drink while my back was turned. We went to the bar again, and were ignored again. Then spoke to the manager, who was nice, and promised to bring our drinks but took another 20 minutes. And they were the wrong drinks. By that point half of our group had left because it was so frustrating. Then they tried to charge us for all of the drinks we never got. It took another hour to straighten out the bill. I've worked in restaurants for years, I understand the nation wide staffing issue and COVID protocols. It just seemed very rude and intentional on behalf of the bar, and not worth what we paid. This review is gonna be on the food and games and not the bowling. I came with a group a friends and we got a table to eat. Our server was David and he was on point! He was watching us and brought everything we needed fast! Didn't even have to ask for napkins when we were running low. The food was a nice surprise. If you are looking to a share food their portions are great. Don't be fooled by the price cause you definitely get your bang for your buck. The nachos and fries are piled high and good to share. As for games they have everything you'd expect from shooters to racing games. Overall the vibe was good and I'd definitely go back. read more

They have a larger selection of games over any other arcade as well as bumper cars, high ropes, laser tag, rock walls, bowling, a resturant AND a movie theater wIth recliner seats. Went here on a business outing and while the food was excellent and drinks were cold the service left something to be wanted. We were in the VIP room where you would think the service would be pretty good but we waited 30 minutes for water and 45 for our drinks and refills were a luxury we weren't afforded. However the atmosphere was amazing and the drinks and food like I said were great as well the service just leaves something to be desired. The managers got involved and cleared it up towards the end and were very helpful so all in all great place but the wait staff need a little more time to be trained. read more

ok so i've worked in restaurants and i know how stressful it can be running food and i cant imagine doing that in a dark theater and stuff so i get it. i love this place honestly i come here w my bf all the time and the seat warmers are very nice. but honestly it should not take 30 min for my dr pepper and me telling two ppl about it and then getting a coke. it isn't a big deal bc i was thirsty so i just took it. and the guy was like "u still want that dr pepper" like no thanks i waited long enough i'll just sip on this coke and pretend! but the service is sooooooooooooooooo ass. every time i watch a movie here which is a lot it always takes forever to get my food and maybe i should just eat before coming but that's not even the point if i'm paying 42$ for this than no thank u. and why is the celery and carrots super warm with my wings? i understand u can just pop it in the microwave and it's faster but can u at least separate the veggies lol. basically the movies are nice seats are nice but i do not recommend eating here it's just not worth it at all. i don't mean to be a karen but like damn why is it always like this? don't even get me started on the white man who wouldn't let me in a few months ago bc i didn't have my ID even though no where on the website or confirmation email does it say i need one after 6. and i walk in today at 6:25 and no one is even there to check for them? honestly i get it im a teenager and i hated working customer service but if i see someone walking in to my job i'm not gonna stand in front of them and finish up a text before i'm ready to say hi. that's just rude no matter what your job is. it takes a lot for me to write a review bc im very understanding but i come here all the time week day or weekend and it's ALWAYS like this. i just feel like if you're running a business you should live up to those expectations that u charge people for. still love u guys but i'm only coming for the movies and heated seats now. have a good day byeeee read more
