We hired Jason Raider to fix flickering lights in our home. He diagnosed an issue and charged us nearly $2,500 to repair it. After the work was completed, the lights were still flickering. He then told us there was another problem and quoted an additional $2,700 to fix it. Had we known from the beginning that paying nearly $2,500 would not resolve the flickering lights, we never would have authorized the work. We hired him to fix the flickering lights--not to repair only one issue while leaving another problem unresolved. What made the experience worse was that, while he was at our home, he walked around and suggested other expensive fixes that did not appear necessary. For example, he told my wife that our Tesla charger should be replaced and suggested our house could burn down, even though the charger had been professionally installed less than a year earlier. He also offered to install custom light switches and claimed the switches cost $240. When we found what appeared to be the exact same switches on Amazon for about $65, he claimed that price was for a two-pack and then sent us a screenshot with the price cropped out. Overall, we felt pressured and misled. We paid almost $2,500 and ended up with the same flickering-light problem we started with, followed by another quote for $2,700. He did not do the job we hired him to do, and refused to complete that job unless we paid substantially more. read more

Jason knows his business!!! He can troubleshoot so welll. He found an electrical connection my late husband had left. A handy man had worked on this and had cut wires which should have been left alone. Jason fixed the problem and was able to finish the job. He was able to get my fence and yard lights working again after not being used for over 20 years. Jason also installed a timer to control the lights. I hired Rader to install some Cat 6 cabling through the walls in my home. He came out took a walk through of my home, explained what he would do and offered suggestions and recommendations based on his industry experience, we agreed on a price and he was able to squeeze me in for an appointment over the weekend. He was very communicative and responded to all texts I sent him prior to the appointment and on the appointment day he let me know when he was on his way. When he showed up he and his crew unloaded their tools and began to work, they were very clean and respectful of my home.
