Yelper friend C came here and got some Stuffies from "Too good to go" and she gave me a box. The box contained 12 fish shaped pastries filled with dulce de leche flavor filling. The pastries were delicious. The filling was very flavorful. I really enjoyed them a lot. They were super cute as well.

I came here to pick up a bag of leftovers which I got through "Too good to go" app. I didn't know what to expect as I have never heard of this place to know what it sells. So glad I got to try it as I got a bag of 2 cro-tai (croissant taiyaki) and a box of stuffies. The cro-tai were filled with Nutella and bacon and egg. Delicious when reheated, especially the Nutella filled one. The stuffies were so cute with two types of shapes - bear and fish. They were vanilla filled and a hit with my friends. The shop was clean and spacious. It was quiet when I was there on a weekday afternoon. The only con was the usual rush hour traffic heading back towards Vancouver. Otherwise great location for those living in the area.

@stuffiespastriescafe is truly a hidden gem in North Vancouver! Make sure to try their "STUFFIES" - a delicious & light pastry baked in cute animal shapes, stuffed with delicious Creme Patisserie (custard) fillings & baked in their Oil Free machines...they also have them in gluten and dairy free servings Make sure to also try their Vegan Soft Serves We tried: buttery caramel soft serve choco heaven soft serve customized stuffies 8 piece mixed bag (blueberry and vanilla) stuffies

My boyfriend found this place and was excited because they had GF mini custard stuffed bear pastries lol. It's super cute. We didn't think it tasted spectacular though. It was kind of stale tasting because it wasn't made fresh. Before going we looked at their website and were under the impression that everything was gluten free because of the way they worded it. But when we got there we realized only the stuffies were GF and the taiyaki were not. He still got a box anyway and I tried a pizza taiyaki. They don't make the taiyaki fresh either which was weird. However, I asked them to make me a fresh one and they happily did. My pizza taiyaki was delicious! I could have eaten two but didn't lol. The decor was really cute and I like how their bathroom is hidden! If you come here and can have gluten, I recommend the savory taiyakis specifically the pizza one. I'd pass on the stuffies unless you can get them made fresh.

After enjoying Taiyaki last week at Snowy Village, I decided to go to Stuffies pastry cafe that's located near Phibbs Exchange bus station on my way to work. However, instead of calling them "taiyaki", Stuffies pastry cafe calls them Cro-tai because they use croissant puff pastry on the outside instead of the traditional batter. Even though I find the Cro-tai options here to be more interesting than the ones offered at Snowy Village, I decided to go with the Stuffies. Stuffies are little pastries they have stuffed with a vanilla or chocolate pastry cream. They are so small that they are bite sized and their price reflects it too. They're $0.60 each, 7 for $3, or 12 for $5.

Great value for a quick grab-and-go across from Phibb Station. There's a $5 All-day special Egg & Cheese Cro-Tai with a brewed coffee. Can never go wrong with egg & cheese and a freshly grilled Cro-Tai has a satisfying croissant-like quality to it. We went in on a Tuesday afternoon and the staff was very friendly and helpful for our first visit. We preferred their Amercano over the brewed coffee and the Bear stuffed with vanilla over the Fish stuffed with cinnamon. Not too much space for large groups to sit in. There's 3 table areas and a small high-top counter sitting area by the window and AC wall outlets at opposite ends of the room. There's one, stealthily-hidden, wheelchair-capable washroom that you'll have to ask a staff member to buzz you in.

Stuffies is a super cute pastry shop located at Phibbs Exchange. It is super adorable and sweet. If I were to open a pastry shop, it'd probably look like this. Everything and anything here is just so darn cute! The ladies working here are lovely and super helpful. They are quite intuitive and easy to talk to. I wanted to try the blueberry filling cro-tai, but they ran out so the woman behind the counter said that she could make one for me. Fresh out of the oil-free machine! I also ordered a chai tea latte with almond milk to go with my snack; however, it didn't taste like a chai latte. I couldn't taste any of the chai, and it was served somewhat cold. The blueberry filling was warm and had a balanced sweet taste; not overpowering. It is a great snack to have in the middle of the day. It didn't make me feel sluggish like some pastries do. This shop is worth coming back to. I will stop by again!

Stuffies pastries are amazing. Must visit when in North Vancouver. Lunch type pastries and dessert type pastries. Tea and coffee and espresso. However parking here is very limited, best to go before the lunch crowd shows up. My favorite is the chicken Thai. Been here at least 8 times since they opened last year and will continue to stop in for a lunch stuffie or vanilla custard filled gluten free cute little pastry. They also have soft serve non dairy ice cream, only tried a sample of it but it was very good. The coffee drinks and matcha lattes are excellent. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The store is very modern looking and very clean and has a small seating area and washroom.

Super cute. Nice snack for when you're just craving something sweet but not filling. The stuffed bears and fish aren't made to order though. They're individually packed into plastics and then placed in a paper bag. Not great for the environment or ease when you want to chow down right away but I guess covid friendly?

It was a huge hit with everyone! The 6 inch cake was $69 and I added a customized birthday message on chocolate for an extra $3 which was a nice personal touch. I'll be ordering from Gary's Patisserie again for future celebrations.

Gary's only allows to order the fresh mango cakes up to one week ahead to ensure they have enough ripe mangos, which I admire their dedication. We ordered the 6 inch cake for 9 people (7 adults and 2 kids) and everyone got a thin to average slice. The cake is definitely prettier than the other fresh mango cakes on the market, has a lot more mangos that are perfectly ripe and sweet, there is less wipped cream, and the sponge cake is softer. The family agreed that Gary's has the best fresh mango cake but at $69 for a 6 inch cake, versus $43 for a 6 inch mango cake from Saint Germaine, a cake from Gary's is definitely a treat and for special occasions. Is Gary's worth the premium price? I think so but not everyone in my family agreed. One thing to note: Gary's do offer cake in a jar that's $8.50 each. When we went, they had a BOGO deal with the mango cake jars. My nephew asked my sister to buy the BOGO deal knowing that the 6 inch cake was not going to be enough, as the kids like having a second slice of cake.

They also offer individual cheesecakes, individual size chiffon cakes, muffins and cookies. The lychee chiffon cake was a big hit. The cream was light and not greasy at all, and the lychee flavor was very fragrant. There were even several pieces of real lychee fruit inside.
