The most friendly caring sub sandwich place to go to, where they make you feel at home the second you walk through the door acknowledging you even if they're with a customer, letting you know your important also & very attentive to the customer questions or offer great recommendations to any questions regarding the menu. Lots of other subs the employees seems not to like their job no smiles or a hi , But not here They are Very kind to the customers. I am very picky when it comes to sandwiches and salads and hardly go to commercial shops. Been going to Subbies for a few years now and just realized that I have to post a review. A local sandwich shop and more that serves salads and sandwiches for a reasonable price. Their customer service has always been great and consistent. For my first time there, it was very good. Sub was good, get what you want on it. Staff was friendly and very helpful. they would tell you what's in your sub, and would suggest variations that also sounded good. But the best was the fried zucchini. My Husband decided to try this sandwich place and I have to say the price is good for the food and they give you quite a lot of meat but the food was just ok. I did not like the Philly Cheese Steak... It either needed more meat or way more bellpeppers and oinions but the taste just wasn't there (it needed something else the taste was not right). Ordered food to go one customer in front in behind. we or to go but owner thought serving the people behind us first because they ate in he told us 15 minutes but it was more than 20 he didn't even start our order till after everyone in the restaurant was satisfied except us. Maybe I'm old fashioned but you should always serve customers in the order you receive the order I guest customer service isn't a priority unless you eat in his restaurant. read more

I came in for lunch for the first time because the business had good reviews. I was the only person in the shop. I ordered a medium sub sandwich, and as toppings I asked for everything, except just no olives. That was the only thing I asked for. When I went back to work to eat, there were so many olives throughout the entire sub. I had to pull the entire thing apart to pick them out, and it was the messiest thing I've ever eaten. It's a very casual vibe, with only 2 people managing the food & register. Tried the Clovis location out today and it does sort of remind of the Port of Subs that inhabited the location before. The wheat bread was a nice option and the people were very friendly and welcoming. While paying some onion rings were being given to a customer and they smelled amazing! I would try another sandwich (cold) to compare taste. This time I tried the tri-tip and it was tasty! Excellent quality and exceptional customer service. My regular is tuna, light mayo, pickle and whatever cheese I feel like that day. My buddy gets the meat subs since I can't really eat meat. The tri-trip loaded fries was amazing, one of the best loaded fries I've had. The fries themselves (even without the sauce or meat on it) was well seasoned and the tri-trip was delicious . The food is great. The service is fantastic and the owner is a super nice guy. I've been eating here several times a month since they opened back in 2017 I believe. I worked at a now closed business across the parking lot from where they were. I've tried nearly every sandwich on their menu. My favorite is the salami, pepperoni and pastrami sub on white bread with all the veggies, vinegar and oil, pepper Jack cheese and add jalapeños with a side order of freshly made onion rings with blue cheese dipping sauce. They have the best blue cheese I have tasted in the Fresno/ Clovis area and I highly recommend it if your are a fan of blue cheese. Their beer fries are extraordinary as well. Great little sandwich shop that recently opened at Shaw and Minnewawa. Years ago this location housed a sandwich shop. Nicely remodeled. Very clean. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. I ordered a roast beef sandwich and beer battered onion rings. Both were really good. The sandwich bread was soft and fresh. The onion rings were tender and tasty. I will definitely stop by again when I'm in Clovis. read more
