Quick review. I had to order catering for a group event. This location did a great job in providing the sandwiches (which were super fresh and delicious) and packaged nicely in catering boxes. They were generous with various condiments and toppings on the side. The manager even helped me carry the boxes to my car. They handled my organization's tax exempt form without any hassle. And importantly, everyone loved the sandwiches! Great local business. read more

Stumbled upon this Subway location since I was in the neighborhood and needed to kill two hours. Situated on Willis Avenue in the beautiful upscale neighborhood in Albertson, Nassau County, this Subway location is super modern and clean. Most Subway locations that I've been to especially in the five boroughs are all depressing looking and in dire need of updating. The female employee that prepared my sub was friendly and the sub turned out solid. The Raspberry cheesecake cookies that I received were stale. I believe that their cookies supposed to be soft baked? No biggie. Anyways, I would return here in the future for a quick bite. read more

I've been patronizing Subway locations all over Ny for over 25 years. This is the first time I wasn't allowed to observe my sandwich being made and I won't let that happen again. I was told," first go pay" and by the time I was done paying. Sandwich was already made and didn't contain the dressing I requested. I purchased a bottle of water. The fridge was broken so all soft drink were piss warm. I had already paid of course when I learned this. I asked for a cup for ice and they gave me a 6oz urine sample cup. That's what put me over the top. For goodness sake at least make up for the warm soft drinks with a cup big enough to chill the bottle of water. These people obviously don't like their customers. There's too many of these places around to put up with this. I strongly recommend ANY other location. read more

I ordered a foot long through grubhub from Subway Wednesday afternoon after eating one i noticed their was mold on my sub. I called to speak to a manager they said the manager is not in. I called the next day a second time around they mention theirs no manager and hung up again while i was still speaking. Theirs no kind of professionalism customer service sucks. Don't understand these negative reviews. We had a cupon for 2 footlong sandwiches. First Frank behind the counter explained that the cupon only works for build your own sandwich. So I explained to him that it doesn't say that on the cupon. He was very very accommodating and took the cupon anyway and made us the sandwiches. They were delicious. read more

This place makes ok sandwiches but they don't give enough toppings! I ask for mozzarella and she gives me a very little amount of it. Also, their fountain drinks machine is always broken! The lemonade always comes out as water and it takes them about 10 minutes to fix. They should really get a new machine. read more

Staff is friendly. Bread fresh. Sometimes they have a promotion at nighttime. There is a large variety of toppings that can be put on.

I placed an order today on the SUBWAY® app for the location of 1185 Willis Ave., Albertson. My credit card was charged and I received a confirmation receipt from the app stating the order would be ready at 4:35 PM. I arrived at 4:45 PM and the cashier states that they never received the order and could not honor my request. I showed them my receipt as well as my credit card transaction but he was very unhelpful in trying to resolve the issue. He stated that he would be able to make my sandwiches but would have to charge me again. I couldn't understand why I would have to pay double for an order. I asked to speak to the manager and apparently he was the manager. If people who have no customer service skills are working there as a manager this is a horrible place to go. I would never recommend this place. He did not try to resolve the issue and instead just kept saying that they never received the order. This was the most horrible customer service I have ever received I will never return to the store and I suggest no one does. read more

The experience mentioned by one of the reviewers seems to be one of those rare cases that should not really affect the review of the restaurant so heavily on its own. I personally enjoy this subway since there are always enough workers around to take an order and the place is well kept. You can even watch some television as you eat as well which is quite ironic because doctors normally do not recommend eating while watching T.V. Overall I enjoy this place and recommend it to others. There is not a lot of seating around so it kinda hurts to try to eat there during lunch time (~12-2) so just plan accordingly if you are planning to stop by. read more

It's clean and convenient BUT (and it's a big but) they really skimp on meat and toppings. It wasn't just us either. The two customers in front of us also complained. I get being fairly priced but a person shouldn't have to complain, "Uh, the meat doesn't even cover half the bread!!" Or "Excuse me, but what are you doing? There's nothing on the bread. Where's my tuna fish?" Whereby then the employee fixed it but didn't even argue... So clearly they're doing this knowingly. The audacity!! read more

This subway is really close to my job so I usually come here for lunch once or twice a week. They do lack putting veggies on the sandwiches sometimes. I've never had a problem with them shortening me meat on the sandwiches. Its always clean inside. Parking is poor here and packed at lunch time hours. The owner even throws in two free cookies sometimes, which is cool, not many places do that anymore. read more

Today i went and bought a foot long Tuna sandwich. It cost me almost $7. The guy scooped 3 small ice cream size Tuna that 1st of all looked like a cat food, so brown that wasn't sure i will eat it. Then for 1 foot long sandwich the tuna hardly covered the entire bread. It was as if i am eating bread with lettuce and tomato. What the hell. Other subway stores are a lot generous. Will never step into any subway restaurant. Had the worst experience that i am ready to call the corporate office. This is insane. Sorry. But no more subway food for my family, Literally there was no tuna on the bread. And they expect me to tip them too. Hell no. not when i receive salad sandwich. That is because the owner standing right by the poor servers. They have to be cheap on the meat and the tuna fish. Someone needs to report this subway restaurant. Do not go here. As far as Subways go, decently made sandwich compared to some of the others that are really stingy with the veggies. But is that worth having them accuse you of passing a counterfeit bill merely because they don't recognize what a $10 bill looked like before it was redesigned? They eventually realized they were wrong and accepted it, but the damage was done. I was made to feel like a criminal for using older currency. Really poor management at this place. read more
