Only gave 1 star because a star is required to leave a review. I placed an order for a large platter for a company luncheon and added 3 sandwiches. Well the cashier refused to ring it all together. I explained that my company require's all outside food purchases to be on 1 receipt but the cashier stated she'd be separating the order. She then asked me to step out the line as she called her manager and so I waited. 5 customers later I inquired and she said the manager is not answering her calls. This is EXTREMELY unprofessional, the customer service was non existent and very inconvenient. As my company patronize this Establishment faithfully this will be last time. Firehouse Sub is 16 minutes away and has inherited new customers for life. read more

I was the only customer in the store and the Woman at the front counter seems like she didn't want to help me with my order. A gentleman came in after me, and she immediately ask if she could help him, the man also looked at me and ask if I placed my order. I told him no, he began to shake his head and ask me to go ahead and place your order, I proceed to ask the lady again can I give you my order please, but she called someone from the back to take my order. I was already in the shopping center today,, so I figured that I would have lunch over here. It had been a minute since I had visited any of these locations and I remembered always have decent experiences before. I wasn't super hungry for a foot long sandwich, so I decided to go for the 6" ultimate BMT sandwich with pepperoni, salami, ham, and provolone cheese. For the extra toppings, I requested lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, Chipotle southwest sauce. The place was fairly busy, but there were at least four employees working behind the counter and helping customers, so I didn't have to wait at all. Finding a table to sit at was slightly more challenging, but I managed after a few minutes. They have tables set-up outside, but that wasn't an option on a rainy day like today. The BMT sub was awesome as I expected, and what really gave it that con was the chipotle sauce, so I would highly recommend it! read more

Look - when I go to Subway I'm all about using the coupons Subway sends in the mail each week (usually within the grocery coupons) to score decent deals on meals. So I couldn't have been more disappointed when I stroll into the Potomac Yard Subway a couple weeks ago fully expecting to score a discounted footlong meal deal... one of the Subway employees noticed me perusing my set of Subway coupons trying to choose which one I was going to use that day and was like "I'm sorry, we don't accept those coupons at this location." I'm like "why?" and she responded that she wasn't sure, just that the coupons didn't work at that location. Disappointed but since I was there, decided I might as well order since I was too lazy to go anywhere else at that point. As I head up to the counter to order I notice a poorly written note (attached to this review for your consideration) that explained that the location wasn't accepting coupons "due to rising costs and employment shortage" (which I take to mean due to the effects of COVID they're trying to save a few bucks). Not sure why the employee couldn't have told me that or at least referred me to that note. I went ahead and still ordered but my experience there that day left a bad impression - won't be going back to that location again. Have since gone multiple times to another location a couple miles away that happily accepts my coupons. Subway is good at this location as there are plenty of orders daily so most of the inventory moves through and keeps this fresh. What to watch out for is the lack of attention to detail so IF ordering ahead via the app, do not ask for double the protein as you may not get it BUT will be charged for it. The franchisee of this location could careless if you provide feedback to help them too. All in all, it's still the better of the Subway locations if you need a sandwich if you want a sandwich and do not want to make one yourself. read more

My child had to use the toilet urgently during the epidemic. We were both recovering from the disease, and we were very, very frequent customers at this sandwich shop. I asked if they would allow her to use their restroom, because it was an emergency, and we were there as customers anyway. They said due to the epidemic, the restroom was only open for employees, and my child soiled herself. I told them I would no longer patronize their business. They then got snippy with me. I understand there is an epidemic, but we are all human and an exception could have been made. I am not saying that this is the case for this particular business, but have you ever noticed that in similar businesses, most of the staffing is illegal aliens, and if you get on intimate terms with them and ask them how they joined our community, they get snarky and start talking about everyone's "common humanity?" I didn't see much consideration of our "common humanity" when it came to the incident I've just described. read more

This location is nestled in a busy shopping center but it still has its own close parking lot. When I went in to order there was no line so they took me right away. My order was fast and the service was friendly. The bathrooms are also clean at this location which is always a plus! They also have a relatively large eat-in area. As subways go this is one of the better spots. read more

The chip reader here doesn't work very well which really holds up the line. But real the issue was what I ordered. I got a signature rotisserie caesar wrap. But when your chicken is sitting in an unidentified watery substance and then douses your wrap to the point it's water logged and ready to fall apart, you may want to reconsider calling it "signature." It was so disgusting and sloppy I threw it out and went to Starbucks next door. read more

Very clean restaurant and fresh ingredients. Great customer service. Awesome staff. Staff are very friendly, and work their best to serve you and make you happy. I visit this restaurant couple times a week, they always keep clean the store, and pleasure to sit and eat. Every time I visit Subway restaurant I request my Tuna sandwich to be cut with the 'clean' knife. Some other restaurant they get frustrated and angry, it is difficult to clean or use different knife I guess :| but the staff from this restaurant always respond with pleasure and happy face. As Cole says, it meets all the criteria - quick service, plenty of parking, clean, good food. The only reason it doesn't get a solid 5 is because it's a little old school, doesn't have a ton of tables, and is a little awkward to maneuver when there's a line because there's not a lot of space. Store owner Yun Lee was yelling at an employee in a very disrespectful manner in the back and could be heard out front. I was so upset that I confronted her as she was leaving the store. I asked her if she was the manager and she said no. I called back and asked for the manager later in the day and was informed that she was the owner. The employee said that this happens all the time. She should treat her employees as human beings and not cattle. I visit this location several times a week and the shift workers (mostly Hispanic) are very nice and will do everything they can to make your sandwich right. read more

I went into a location and ordered a turkey and bacon sub. The server said that it wasn't on the menu but I can order it. When I got to the register the cashier wanted to charge me extra for the bacon. I explained that the server did not notify me that there was an extra charge. I asked if they could just give me the one she made and not charge me. He didn't want to do it so she made me another sandwich. I am unhappy with the customer service he provided because instead of making a customer happy, he wasted a whole sandwich. I will never go to that location again. read more
