I had the Hawaiian pizza and it couldn't be better! The fries on the side were the perfect amount of crispness too which was a great touch. Overall aesthetic of the restaurant is really cool since it's a bit of an older spot. The servers are very friendly and hospitable too.

This place has been around forever! I FINALLY got to stop in and have dinner with my fam. Servers are great - engaging, funny, helpful and all around awesome. The food was plentiful and tasty, though basic and straight forward. Salad was surprisingly large and flavorful. My only real complaint was the booth was really too small for 4 ppl and their food. We got pasta dishes and not the pizza ... so I must go back and give that a try.

We love the Subway Cafe's pizza menu and the crispy crust pizza they make! We went here last night with another couple and introduced them to the place. I ordered the Spicy Buffalo pizza this was my first time trying it and it brought a nice heat to it! Two orders of Pepperoni & Cheese Pizzas and a Meat Lovers rounded out our dinner! The pizza are personal size but depending on appetite you may be bringing some home! Washed them down with some cold tapped beers and we were set for the evening!

Atmosphere: walked into gorgeous lighting that has a feel of art decor period. Beautifully painted walls with stone work. The lady promptly sat us in a nice cozy booth. Nose level was low so I could hear my friend talk. Waitresses were so friendly! Drinks: they had many cocktails & drinks to choose from. Margarita was good. I got 2 of them. Dinner: veggie pizza is good and crust crispy. Finally, a place that puts enough sauce on a pizza. Score! Dessert: we got the lemoncello cake. Icing was not heavy and cake was light. Perfect way to end a meal. I posted on FB their sign and now all my friends want me to take them here. I would definitely recommend it. There's plenty of parking next to the place. Go!

I'll cut to the chase: excellent old-world style pizza. Not a good cheesesteak. High prices with small-sized portions. I love the pizza here, but I could easily eat two of these. Remember geometry class and how you use 3.14 to see how much area your pizza pi contains? Nah, me neither but I can easily see the pie is about the size of two slices of a large 16" pizza. The cheesesteak was literally a sandwich. That's what the menu said and that's what it certainly was. I'll pass next time and opt for a cheesesteak pizza if I felt the need, otherwise I'm only getting pizza here. Maybe a salad. I think they might be large...but I can't remember my last visit. Decent choice 6 out of 7 days a week. Closed Sunday.

It been 7 years since I was here and originally reviewed this iconic establishment. The food is still great and the atmosphere is nice. After perusing around the sportsman show for a few hours, we ate here vs. a fast food or chain place. Nice to sit and not feel rushed. My son loved the pizza.. Pizza was on point and the salad dressing is still fabulous. Will be back for sure....

They are known for their pizza and it's as good as advertised. The crust reminds me of a saltine cracker. Super crunchy and delicious. I always crave this pizza.

Subway Cafe is either a staple or a hidden gem depending how you look at it. Crispy cracker crust pizza is so unique and so hard to find. I love coming here and would highly recommend to anyone passing by or in the area. Tasty and flavorful sauce, just the right amount of cheese, super yum! The service is always fast too! Can't wait to return again!

My friends and I stumbled upon this place by accident while navigating an accident on Cameron. We had heard about the infamous pizza but didn't realize this place was close enough to eat at during our lunch. Of course having heard about all the pizza, I got a pepperoni and mushroom personal size pizza. It's around $6.50 to start and all the toppings are extra. Also don't expect to come in here with options of veggies besides mushrooms and peppers as options of veggies on your pizza FYI. Also their pizza is unique for their crust that's thin and crispy. My friend compared it to a type of crust called "cracker crust". It was my first time having it and is great for people who like light thin crunchy crusts that hold their own. Definitely going to try the meat lovers options next time. This place is small and cozy so not ideal for bit parties. They have your typical central PA Italian foods also and have bar area if you are interested. Eating here felt like I was transported in time and the service was great despite the busy lunch time period.

3.5 Cute neighborhood hole in the wall bar and kitchen. Has a devoted following. Kitchen's output is well-executed if unexciting.

What a great place in the city. One of the best pizza crust I've ever had. It's like a crunchy cracker.

Everything about this screams, Irish speakeasy! As an appetizer, we ordered sausage, fried deviled…read moreeggs, which were surprisingly amazing with a honey mustard type of a sauce for dipping. My partner ordered fish and chips, which came out to be a huge piece of white fish, lightly battered and a generous portion of french fries, since Saint Paddy's day had passed. I ordered bangers and mash which again was amazing!. Sorry, no pictures this time.

The cocktails alone are worth the visit. The bartenders really know their craft, and the alcohol selection, including local beers, is solid. My only real issue is brunch. Every time I've visited after 12 p.m. (brunch is served until 2 p.m.), there's been a problem--either they're no longer taking food orders, the kitchen is backed up with a 45-minute wait, or they've simply run out of food. It comes off unprofessional and could definitely be handled better. I've noticed this becoming a growing trend during brunch service in general, and while some people suggest arriving as early as 10 a.m. for the best experience, consistency matters. If you're offering brunch, you should be properly staffed and prepared to serve guests throughout the full service window. Period. It's especially frustrating when you've traveled specifically to experience their culinary offerings and hit a wall like that. Overall, if you're looking for a spot that feels like a New York-style dive bar with elevated drinks and solid food--if you catch it at the right time--this place delivers. Just plan strategically if brunch is your goal.
