I'm not a big Subway fan like my son , but I occasionally get it. This by far was the worst Subway Sandwich I've ever had. I was traveling from Las Vegas to Oklahoma and stopped at the Comfort Inn next door for the night. They did give me a discount for staying next door. The place was clean and the lady working the counter was pleasant. Got to my hotel room to eat my Turkey Sandwich and the bread was really stale , not like day old bread , but like a couple days left out on the counter stale. Hardly any meat and even with having the oil and vinegar and spices it still had hardly any taste and I also had lettuce , spinach , and mayo on it. I was so hungry from my drive I ate it anyway. I definitely wouldn't recommend this location for putting out such a disaster of a sandwich. read more

Subway - Worst Subway sandwich ever. Stale bread , etc - Sandwiches Near Me - Edgewood, New Mexico

I went to the store to buy the "Buy one get one free deal with my 86 year old dad. My dad proceeds to hand her the credit card. While she has my fathers card she proceeds to tell him that she cant give him the deal but she will give him another discount, and swipes his card. (First fraud bait and switch without giving him consideration by swiping his cards at the last second, and making him pay for something he didn't agree to.) He takes the receipt to me and asks me if I see a discount on there. I said there was no discount. He takes it back and asks them to explain. They do not explain and they do not refund him. In fact the girl is rude and says that if he doen't like it he can leave. (2nd crime miss treatment of elderly, taking advantage of elderly) (3rd crime not giving a refund, also fraud.) At this point I feel their manager needs to see the girls behavior and I start recording and demand to talk to their manager and for an explaination. The girl sees me filming her and asks why I'm recording her, I tell her im sending it to her boss and cooperate offices. She says shes going to call the cops on me for recording her. I tell her recording her isnt illegal because she already signed a waver to be recorded on film during business just like cops. Then I point to the camera above her head. Also that law is for people doing illegal things with your video. Im showing your boss your illegal behavior, which the law allows for. She literally called the the cops on me for recording her even knowing that being recorded would show that she's an idiot that willing to risk a wrongful suit, that all her bad behavior would be on tape, and if she says anything incriminating its going to be on camera. She literally could have just deescalated the situation by just offering to give my dad his money back, or calling the manager. Instead she playing games like "My dad owns this store so I have no accountability." , and "If you contact corporate im going to call the cops on you." This person is a lawsuit just waiting to happen. read more

It is what it is, like other fast food chains, but whoever makes your sando does make a difference. I only know the Tijeras location and it has different staff each time I go. I'm a MVP member and always order online - if you pay attention to "deals" when you log in there is usually a good one. Ambiance varies depending on the time of day but I just pick up and take it home. They can be heavy-handed on the sauces so always choose "less" if you don't like it soggy.90 read more

Twice I've eaten subways combo sandwich and have gotton really bad food poison I'm going to have to call health dept. Not good.

For a VERY long time this Subway was far less than a shining example of what a Subway usually is. Then things improved dramatically. Don't know why. Maybe a new owner? With the onset of Subway App ordering things are back to being really bad. Customers at the store standing in line should be the priority but are forced to wait until the App orders are filled. They often run out of rolls or meats because they don't anticipate the online order rush. They are not slicing meats fresh as needed, as Jersey Mike's does, rather mass slicing in the morning for the day. Now this Subway has decided to hide a 2.5% service(?) charge in each purchase without advising the customer they are doing it. I called and asked the manager about the hidden service charge and she said "that is corporate and I have no power to stop it". Thing is that the Subway in Tijeras DOES NOT ADD THE SERVICE CHARGE so it is NOT a corporate decision it is just plain greed and a rip-off by the owner of this Subway. I feel bad for the travelers passing through and getting ripped off by this Subway. An ethical business owner would put a sign declaring the service charge on the front door so customers can decide whether this Subway deserves their business or to drive down the road to the next Subway who doesn't rip-off their customers. If you own a business and can't make a living without hiding service(?) charges in the sale then close the store and get a job. Edgewood is restaurant challenged but there's no reason to surrender to THIS Subway. I live in between this Subway and one that doesn't gouge their customers with a hidden service(?) charge so I won't be back to this Subway. read more

Lol. I just got lettuce and extra onions on my sandwich and the lady helping me wouldn't add extra onions, "because corporate told them they couldn't". It's not like I was loading up my sandwich with all the toppings. I pointed that out and she acted so contrite and rude about it and still refused. Kind of shocking and laughable from Subway. We walked there from the Comfort Inn and got a discount because we are staying at the Comfort Inn. i think Joe was our sandwich maker and he did a great job and was very friendly. The sandwiches were delicious and looking forward to the chocolate chip cookies. The manager seemed very nice as well. We are just passing through town but will be back this way in September and may just make it a stop going and coming from Sedona, AZ. read more

I have not ate at Subway in a long time. When traveling in Texas I stopped at a Subway, that was the best sandwich I had in a long time; made very well, looked like a sandwich and was delicious. When I got home to Edgewood, NM, I wanted to try another one of their sandwiches, the Mexicali. I ordered it on the app with extra chicken & smashed avocado. I picked it up, came home and went back to get my money back. It was a very poorly made sandwich. I could see lettuce, tomato, a very tiny bit of cheese and Baja sauce. Chicken was questionable on the sandwich and definitely no avocado. I figure it was a pick up order and the lady (served by 90398) half assed made the sandwich assuming I wouldn't come back to complain. Well I did, one because it was made wrong, two I paid extra for extra chicken and avocado. When I went in there, I was definitely not happy about driving back there, I said to server 90398 that the sandwich was not what I ordered and it was not a well made sandwich. She claimed that there was chicken on it, but I couldn't tell if there really was chicken and she said I was missing the avocado. I mentioned in Texas how the sandwich was made so much better and she quipped with an attitude, this isn't Texas. I explained to her, that a sandwich in NM should be just as well made as in Texas. Just like a McDonald's burger is the same here or there. She (server 90398) said they are different areas and run differently. So basically I got out of the conversation, Edgewood, NM makes sandwiches with very little meat & cheese and don't care how they make the sandwich. I did ask for my money back and hopefully I will see a refund, if not I will dispute the charges. So yeah, if you are hungry and want a good sandwich, don't bother stopping at this Subway, you will definitely be hungry after a half made sandwich. read more

There have been times in my life where I have been disappointed by Subway... but recently their subs have been absolutely excellent. Whether it's ordering through the app or in person, Subway is doing an exemplary job lately at providing quality food at good prices. There are 2 subway's in the town I live in, and I don't go to either of them. I prefer to get my sandwiches when I travel out of town to Edgewood. This location is awesome. I use the app to order (neither location in my town offers online ordering ) and every time my order is fresh and waiting for me when I walk in the door. Sandwiches are always neatly packed and they never forget to put a napkin. The sandwiches are perfectly proportioned, and neatly made, so no messy sandwich with stuff falling out. The employees are always friendly and greet me as I walk in, and always a polite "thank you" as I leave. This subway will always be my go-to subway. read more

I have visited the subway before and pretty good usually. Today i got the new carved turkey and bacon sub. It had 2 pieces of turkey...Really!!! The worst sandwich ever!!! Called to let the them know and the guy was a punk about it !no veg at all he said it's the standard amount. I have eaten there before and they've put in more than two pieces of onion on the sandwich! I will never go in there again ! The bread must've been day old because it fell apart right when unwrapped ! We had lunch today at our favorite subway in Edgewood, and the experience was not good. One of the staff members had 2 young boys in the eating area, probably 7 to 9 years old. They were playing in the back corner by the restrooms, they had small laptop computers. They were loud and carried on quite a bit that everyone in the restaurant was probably as annoyed by them as we were. The new manager apparently is allowing the employees to bring their children to work with them. We have always had great experiences, but today was not. I am hoping this was a one time experience, if not, we will not be eating at our favorite subway again. Maybe the new manager should be aware of what is going on, unless one of the employees is the new manager. read more

Have been to this Subway two times now. Each time a different adult went to get the food. We each had the same experience. Customer service training definitely a need within this establishment. Sound effects eye rolling as we choose our items for the sandwiches are NOT needed. Have always been happy with Subway all around this country. Not here!!!!
