I like this Subway. We'll sometimes stop in here - on our way to and from the mountains. It's never too busy. We're able to find parking right in front of the store. The staff are always friendly and conversational. They're quick and intentional when making ordered sandwiches. And best of all the bathroom is always impeccably maintained and accessible. It's so nice to have a low-key spot - that lets you relax, stretch your legs, manifest a quick bathroom break, and that allows you to get some much needed sustenance on long-ish car rides. It's also nice that they're open from 7am-9pm - so if you're looking to get on the road early - you can stop in for a flatbread breakfast sandwich. On our last evening visit here, for a quick sugar pick-me-up -- my husband indulged and went for the foot long cookie. If you're not familiar with it - it is a chocolate filled whopper of a dessert and it lasted him for days :) Trust. read more

Dropped in for a quick snack on a Thursday afternoon. Restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. I had a few minutes of a wait while the person in front of me ordered. I couldn't help but notice there's quite a few changes to their menu and a couple new sandwiches too! I'm pretty basic so I ordered my go to cold cut. Subway sandwiches are never anything to write home about but at least you know what you're getting and won't be caught off guard by some total trash. My sandwich was exactly what I ordered. Ordered a footlong cookie. NO MILK! my mouth is so dry eating this. The cookie is so good but....WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER WITH MILK.

The employees were extremely rude. The sandwiches were made with no thought, as if they didn't care at all. The service was so bad that one of the employees threw our sandwich on the register instead of kindly handing it to us or placing it on the counter. The ambiance of this subway was in poor conditions, and the employees acted as if they didn't care at all. EXTREMELY RUDE and EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL. I don't recommend. read more

I generally don't write reviews on chains unless they stand out very good or very bad. Subway is one of the very few fast food chains I will visit and I am saddened to hear that so many are closing. I love that they added guacamole as an option a few years back but this location had whole avocado as an option, something I've never seen in a Subway but hope is a new trend. I was also thrilled to see roasted red peppers and artisan flat bread, two other things I hope to see in the future at all locations. I'm not the biggest subway fan to begin with since the food is almost always bland and lacking in the ingredient department overall, but this subway is one I really prefer not to visit if there are other options. Every time I've been in it seems there's something missing, whether that's an ingredient they're out of or employees who don't make you feel like you're inconveniencing them by coming into their place of employment. I don't have a regular order so I bounce around between a couple different sandwiches and a salad. Every single subway I've ordered a salad at has always either chopped it or asked if I wanted it chopped, I always say yes because it chops up the bigger ingredients (like tomatoes) as well as mixing the salad for me in a bowl that's significantly easier to mix a salad in than the plastic one I eat it out of. The last time I went in, they were out of spinach and avocado and when I asked if the salad could be chopped the lady making it said "it's already chopped" and proceeded to pile the ingredients on top of the lettuce in the plastic to go bowl. Not sure if that's a new policy for some reason or if the employee was just lazy but that salad was definitely not chopped nor mixed. Pros of this place are that it's clean (most subways I've been to are though) and when you ask for extra of something this location usually actually gives extra, although you really have to specify you mean EXTRA otherwise you get maybe a little sprinkle more at best. Those things aside, I prefer the subway on the other side of Oakdale. read more

It must be me. I had a great meal, deserves 4& 1/2 stars. Friendly and accommodating. I wanted a "special" sandwich and I got it. The foot long sandwich quickly disappeared. I won't reveal the entire ensemble, but I will reveal what I like about my "special" preparation. Basically I get a finished vege sandwich with tomatoes and olive oil on an Italian cheese bread roll - then it is toasted making my sandwich a salad on a roll. read more

This is a normal stop for us on our way to Bay Area. I really like the Fuze tea that Subway carries. My husband and daughter got sandwiches, but only got a drink. We stopped here on a Friday at 3:10 pm and they were out of unsweetened tea. I asked for more and I was told, "We are done with that tea for the day." The other tea is very sweet, which I don't drink. I took the lid off the tea and tilted it into my cup so I could empty what was left into my cup. One of the ladies behind the counter was not happy about my "problem solving" skills with the tea. Since they close in more than 6 hours, why wouldn't they make more tea? read more

Best Subway ive been to. I have been to alot but this one tops them all. Amazing seating, a tv, great service... What more could you ask for? There were aton of people in line but i got super great service and got to the front of the line in no time. Overall i will most definately return here at least 5x's a week read more

I've been here twice now. Maybe it's because the cost of veggies have gone up or something but, they don't like put to many on their sandwiches. The first time the girl did not hear me say foot long twice and gave me the 6 inch. I also ordered avocado on it and didn't get it either. Not to mention I asked for extra spinach because they only give you 6 leaves...yes I said 6 leaves..I counted. The second time I got the foot long, but still had to ask for extra veggies or it's all bread. I asked for avocado which is a $1.50 extra....I don't mind paying for it but, it was hard as a rock and 3 tiny slices....REALLY! I called 3 times to talk to the manager and no one answered the phone. I won't be returning there for lunch...... I guess I'm going to have to try Cottonwood out for lunch. read more

A Subway is a Subway, but I was a bit disappointed with their latest $5 for a foot-long promotion. It specifies that it doesn't cover their double stacked or their premium sandwiches. That's fine. So I ordered their prime rib foot long. This was NOT listed on either the double stacked or premium menus. It was listed as a REGULAR hot sandwich. Anyway, they insisted that it doesn't qualify for the $5 special because it's a new sandwich and they'd have to cut less meat or some such excuse. So after considerable arguing, I just decided it wasn't worth it and went and ordered the foot-long roast beef sandwich instead. I work in the same complex and come here often. I get the same sandwich every time the same way. I get a spicy Italian with just spinach and lots of wax peppers. (And by lots I mean give me 10 instead of five) Apparently today you can't get extra of stuff, the girl told me "I can't give you extra we have a certain amount ".....wtf? I pay the same price as everyone else but I hardly get anything on it. They don't charge me less if I get nothing on it but you pay the same price as someone who gets the works.... Subway should stand for subpar. The bread is week and the fillings lacking. Can get a far better sandwich at Raley's across the street. Better choice of bread and fillings. I have wasted three tries at the Subway and all three were mediocre. Never again will I go there again. read more
