Have grabbed sandwiches here a couple times. Prices are higher than other locations, probably since it's a small beach/tourist town. An example was $20 for a foot long with a drink. We have always had good service here at Subway in Ocean Shores. The sandwiches are very good and you choose toppings to make it the way you want. The foot long churro was terrible but we liked the foot long cookie. Normal subway ambience but we usually take out. THEY SERVICED ME WHEN NO ONE ELSE WOULD. I visited subway with a car full of hungry kids as a last resort. I went to Sunny Beach Cafe/McDonalds/Port Hole to try and get breakfast and could not. Sunny Beach quite literally told me they didn't do takeout and if I wasn't going to eat in the restaurant to find another. Taking away two stars from this review for two reasons. First: the sandwich wasn't that great. It was just the only thing I could grab. Cheese was soggy (how does that even happen), and the lack of requested peppers and olives was annoying. Second: those poor staff. They were very helpful and friendly which was awesome. That wasn't the issue. The issue was that it was 75 degrees out and the inside of the building was hotter. There was no air circulation so it felt like you couldn't breathe, and to make matters worse the employees had thick masks on. I wouldn't want to work there that is just awful. Not sure if there is something wrong with their AC but it felt suffocating waiting in line. Pick someone else if you can. read more

Tried to eat here but the staff was very rude. There was 8 of us and we had pulled into this nice little town around lunch time. Usually I would try a local restaurant, but we had reservations for horseback riding and needed something familiar and we knew would be quick. We walked in needing to use the restroom, but they have them closed. So that was the first issue. Secondly, they don't let you eat inside and have no tables outside. Not trying to have 8 people eat in a packed Suburban! We walked out and the employees could care less that they lost the business. This Subway is hit and miss. I usually avoid it but the app sent my order there instead of the one in Hoquiam where I was at. I called them and explained what happened. Our sandwiches were cold and soggy when we got them. I thought there had to be some mistake with my sandwich as it was so flat and I order lots of vegetables. There wasn't even enough lettuce to cover my sandwich. I got a few spinach leaves and two pieces of cucumbers per half and they were old and transparent so I threw them away. They also cut my sandwich with a dirty knife getting marinara sauce all over the other sandwiches. They didn't even get the breads correct. I also discovered all four sandwiches had American Cheese even though one was ordered with Cheddar and another one was supposed to have Monterey Jack. I went to the App Store and discovered having your order sent to the wrong location is very common. This was by far the worst food I've ever gotten from a Subway. read more

The staff was seriously rude, we came in and needed a second to order (we were the only people in there so it's not like we were holding up a line) and the person taking our order was clearly irritated. We started ordering and this employee was so visibly irritated to be there, rolling his eyes and all, as he took our order. The food was alright, the sandwiches were sort of just thrown together quickly so he could go back to the kitchen where he proceeded to gossip with the other employees about their peers. We came to Ocean Shores for my sons birthday weekend and decided to stop by Subway for a quick bite before renting bikes that were right next door. Rachel was extremely rude and desrespectful to my family and made my mom and step dad walk out. I was in line first with my son, and my mom offered to pay, and she moved up from ordering to buy my food for us. My step dad, who was right behind us, was waiting to order. He is hard of hearing, wears hearing aides, and relies on my mom to repeat stuff to him in a close proximity. Well, the lady asked him what he wanted, and he couldn't hear what she said, and he was still looking at my mom. She said, "ok," and moved on to the next person. Well, my mom was done paying and never got out of line. But Rachel said because the other subway person, an older white lady, had moved on to the next person that they were to go to the end of the line. My parents are seniors and were very confused about why they got completely passed over when my mom was paying for me. She said, "Go to the end of the line ." Again, like they were children. It was so embarrassing in front of the whole store. Then Rachel added, to further embarrassment, "you can't just come here and cut the whole line!!" My parents were so embarrassed and insulted they left to find somewhere else to eat. My son and i quickly ate my food, which my salad was gross and barley had any lettuce. Subway is one of our favorite places to eat, and this Rachel at this store had the most rude set of customer service skills I have ever seen. We spent a day in Ocean Shores and desired a sandwich to enjoy sitting on the beach. This Subway location is in a prime location near one of the entrances to the beach. Plenty of parking and easy access. Greeted with a smile and sandwiches made exactly as desired without question when additional produce was requested. Speedy checkout. Sandwich bread was soft and ingredients were good. Restaurant was very clean (this is during the COVID timeframe). read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is, by far, the worst Subway I have ever had. Soggy sandwiches, dirty sandwich wrapping papers (I ordered a BLT, kids turkey, and meatball sub - every single paper the sandwiches were wrapped in had dry and crusty soy sauce that was not from our sandwiches), it smells awful inside, sticky tables and floors, the vegetables were wilted and slimy, the turkey had a questionable color, etc. The girl with colorful hair is always rude and hardly uses gloves. There is, however, a younger guy with longer hair and a nose piercing - I don't know his name but he is absolutely amazing. read more

There was a woman, Brittany. I called in an order 15 minutes before closing, knowing I would be there in 5 minutes after getting off a job. She told me over the phone with an exasperated sigh "We close in 10 minutes" and decided to take my order, when I arrived around 8:50 she didn't want to acknowledge me and said "We're only taking orders 30 minutes before closing now" so if I want late night subway I'll just have to drive there, cause either way I would've gotten there in time. However, unfortunately they decided to close early at 7 pm during their off season without much warning so our first night visiting Ocean Shores when we tried to go there to eat we were highly disappointed. Went here yesterday. Line was out the door. Took 20 mins to get order taken (there was 3 people in front of us). The first employee was so high I don't even think he knew where he was. The guy running the register kept going in back where another employee was. It took 30 mins to get our food. The sandwiches were falling apart and my daughter couldn't eat hers because the chicken was partially frozen. I didn't want to wait another 30 mins to get her another one. Today we have stomach aches and that is the only restaurant we are at. Will never go back here again as long as I live. I also want to add that BOTH bathrooms were out of service. Went here at 3:15 on last Saturday afternoon. Was told by the guy behind the counter that with, the exception of flatbread, they were out of bread. That's right ... out of bread. At a Subway? Mind-boggling. It's obvious, based on the other reviews here, that whoever runs this place is trying to minimize their own waste by limiting the available choice, even if it means serving stale bread or offering only one kind. Visited this Subway last week and was disappointed by its offerings. The line was very long and the service was slow. But I patiently waited to get my turn at the counter. They were out of most breads, so I got the Italian bread which was a bit stale. The lettuce which was thrown on the sandwich was turning red and looked like it was days old stuff from a bag. This experience was the worst Subway experience I have ever had, though I have been here on other occassions where the service was better it just seemed to me this place has went downhill since my last visit. When we first walked in the most noticeable thing was the smell. Gosh, do they even mop up and clean the tables in this joint? I could smell old stuff. Old. The worker was cordial, but very lazy. She would grab the ingredients we wanted and after determining it was too much she would just toss the rest of it back into the small bins. However, she would almost always miss and the food (e.g. tomatoes, eggs, etc.) would land between the small bins and she would scoop it up and put it back into the bin. Ugh. Dirty. Most restaurants would just throw them away if it was not placed directly back into the bin itself. Whatever!
