I dont usually write reviews for fast food joints, since it's normally for convenience rather than quality, but this particular Subway is an exception, and probably, one of the best and friendliest Subways I've ever been to. Firstly, the food is actually fresh! The veggies do not show a hint of discolouration from being left out for too long, which is an issue in most subways, and they taste as high quality as they look. The owner/employee is also very kind and friendly, and just appear to be a cheerful person, even though it cant be easy running a subway during such times. My friend has been here before a few weeks back and he even remembers him! He's very generous with giving us toppings and said it's " an honour" to serve us. This high-end quality of food and service should be an example of what all restaurants, especially fast food joints, should aspire to. This Subway is my ABSOLUTE MOST FAVORITE Subway! I live in Foresthill and whenever I come down to Roseville I always go to this Subway - sometimes I even make special trips all the way to them and bypass the 2 Subways in Auburn because they are MUCH better! Every time I order my sandwiches with the app from them, they ALWAYS make them exactly perfect. The two in Auburn are terrible in comparison, both with customer service and the way they make the sandwiches; I usually can't even find my avocado or bacon when I get sandwiches at other Subways, but this one always adds plenty and doesn't skimp on condiments either! The other huge bonus from this Subway is their tendency to always participate in the app promotions. A lot of other Subways frequently pull out participation AND their base prices are more expensive as well. It's just WORTH IT to go all the way to these guys instead! Plus, every time I go, the staff are always nice and more than once I've received great deal coupon vouchers that I've just never bothered to use - one of them was buy one footlong and a drink and get another footlong of the same price for 99 cents. That's worth the gas alone, frankly. They're also one of the only Subways open until at least 9PM. I cannot possibly stress how much better this Subway is and how much I prefer them and their service to other Subways. I don't personally eat inside, I take my sandwiches to go, but whenever I walk in for my pickups everything always looks clean and I'm also a huge sucker for the fresh bread smell most Subways usually have in the first place. TLDR: BEST Subway in like 50+ miles. Always makes the sandwiches how you ask even when you order on the app, and promotion participation makes them a huge plus in my book. I WAS asked to write a review, but it was after expressing to them that I greatly appreciate how great of a job they do when they make my sandwiches. I've been to plenty of subways and this one is definitely the best up there. The people are so friendly and sweet and really go out of their way to greet and thank every person. Chad - seems like a super genuine guy. The food is a quality subway but it's the interactions of the staff that make it worthwhile to keep coming back. On top of the people, the place is kept up really well and seems well taken care of compared to many subways I've visited in the past, some noticeably neglected. Definitely not this one! I haven't been to a subway in years, and I stopped at this one on my drive back to SF. The second I stepped inside, I was enthusiastically greeted by three sharp, personable, young workers. A more seasoned guy was training a new guy, and both the trainer and trainee exuded a true passion for their job! They demonstrated a true passion for costumer experience. There was a young lady as well, who was warm and very personable with a bright smile. By the time I left, I felt like part of their family! I will stop here again if I ever pass through the area. I hadn't been to a subway in 15 years - thought they were a thing of the past. That may be true for other locations, but this specific subway is the absolute best. The owner and employees are the most friendly and genuinely kind people. I was taken aback by the cleanliness of the restaurant, the presentation as a whole, the friendliness of staff, and taste of food. I've been to this location 5-6 times in the last 1.5 months... and it has consistently been the same. I never thought I'd find myself craving subway... but now I do... and only this location. The person working there mixed my order up and charged me the wrong price. It's okay, until the same worker asked my friend and I if we wanted to try the flatizza. My friend and I were like, "free food why not?" Then we go to get the flatizza and he attempted to charge us when moments earlier he asked if we wanted try the food for free. Had he clarified that before we would not have gotten it, but then he stated, "I'll just have them for lunch."
