It's a small mom and pop shop, a little too cluttery for my liking, but I think that's just the charm of it. They have a simple menu and a selection of Vietnamese foods/drinks, not just baguettes. Upon ordering, the lady stated that everything is made to order and that placing an order over the phone would be best. I left spending $50 on two banh mi baguettes and three orders of spring rolls. I was quite shocked at how fast that added up. I was even more shocked once I received my order! Spring rolls: Pork: decent flavor, moist and tasteful. Shrimp: literally just ONE shrimp (they halved them) in the spring roll. Beef: more like beef jerky. The meat was so dry and tough. The sauce for the spring rolls had some flavor but not as much as I would like. Express special baguette: Bread: was good, crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside, not the kind of bread that's flaky, leave too much crumbs or cuts the roof of your mouth. Filling: pate on the bread, with a few slices of cold cut Vietnamese meats and a sprinkle of veggies. The baguette, along with the spring rolls were definitely overpriced. It looks like everything was just sprinkled on top. There were a lot of lettuce in the spring rolls, but even that wasn't fresh. For the price of the baguette, we could have at least gotten more veggies such as the pickled carrots/cucumbers/cilantro. For the quality and portions of the food, I wouldn't mind paying a few dollars less. But for the amount they were charging, I expected a little bit more. Overall, wasn't impressed with this place.

How much I, liked his car. Jason's son who worked for an environmentally corporation stole my money. I, thought i'd given him one of my 2- 5 dollar bills, when actually it was the 20. The three bills are all I, had. I, realized my error and immediately returned. He swore i'd only given him a 5. Currency won't suddenly turn from a 20 dollar bill into a 5. I, had 2- 5's and 1- 20. They take pride in their establishment. We enjoy their Mike's burgers, pastrami burgers, and onion rings. We come at least 2 times a month to grub. Sometimes we just get a bunch of orders of onion rings and ill make something to go with them. We love supporting small family owned business and we hope Mike's stays open for many years to come. I came back about three months ago and noticed only two of the guys are still there. There used to be a really friendly awesome blonde chick there. I think the side of her head was shaved? I don't remember.. but she was so sweet and fun to chat with while waiting for my food. There is now this older lady there (maybe new owner?) and she is just so non personable! Ryan is still there making sandwiches and (Ron I think) is still there! But that cashier chick is gone! She used to jump in and make hoagies too. Anyways, food is still really good, but I'm disappointed with the new staff. Not like the old days at all!
