I just walked out and there's two lady employees. One of them carries her hair in a hair clip with the rest of her long tail hanging out and I asked her is it a requirement here to put your hair up in a bun tied? And she replied no with a smile.. and the other employee does have her hair together in a bun tied. So I told her that I don't think it's proper having her long tail hanging and she's preparing food and her hair hanging on top of all the food ingredients. The staff here is great, this review is for the owner. How do you choose to not fix your AC for the comfort of your employees alone? It was over 110 degrees inside your restaurant yesterday. It was colder to be outside in 95 degree weather than in your restaurant. Then I come to see other reviews, and find out that for a month you haven't fixed your AC? That is embarrassing, and on top of it it's a health hazard not just for employees, but your FOOD! It doesn't matter how cold your display fridge with produce is, if your restaurant is 110+ degrees inside your food on display is not at proper temp. I shouldn't have to tell you this, because you're a restaurant owner; you should know this; but if that's not what you're interested in anymore, sell your franchise to someone else who actually cares, and go work somewhere else. Don't eat here till the AC is fixed, you will get sick. read more

Excellent service, the employees there are really nice and understandable. The food is really good, never had any complaints when coming here. Now the restaurant itself could use a bit more cleaning but overall, it's decently clean. Even the outside isn't bad at all, definitely would keep coming here. Now I know the ac isn't the best but I really don't care. Best and only subway I'll trust in my neighborhood. read more

I love subway. But they discontinued the chicken breast and I've made my sub the exact same way since 2007. I can't believe they did this, what did the chicken go on strike no more breasts all the chickens got cancer or something I need answers. On top of that their new watermelon cucumber is a hit and miss some people add too much water other add less water. The inconsistency is killing me but I have no other options. read more

I would give this place a 0 zero. We ordered online and the order was wrong we reached out to the number on the reciept and the owner Chaz answered. I don't know what kind of an owners calls a customer an IDIOT. For letting him know they messed up the order and the person has allergies to bacon. This place is horrible. The person that I believe owns the place (not sure if just an employee but acting like he owns it) was there, his name is Chas, looked like he was on drugs. His eyes popped out of his head, sweating, being incoherent, yelling at the employees for no specific reason in front of all the customers. I heard something along the lines about the place not making enough cash. Towards the end of his rant I saw him take money from the cash register and put it in his pocket. Mind you, it didn't look like there was a shift change happening for him to do that. I'd advise anyone not to go there especially if he's there. This Subway is awesome! I come here for lunch because it's right by work. Chaz is the owner of this shop and the one on Laurel Canyon. He's around during lunch a lot, because it gets busy and he helps manage the rush. He's always fun and friendly, and I love his London accent! They make the best salads at this location! This last time, I had to tip the salad/sandwich maker (didn't catch his name), because he assembled the salads with such care... He was like an artist! Instead of slapping ingredients into the salad like I've experienced elsewhere, he cut the tomatoes and cucumbers, and distributed the ingredients throughout, which most Subway restaurants do not take the time to do (even though it doesn't take much time at all). This location's customer service is efficient and friendly, which explains its popularity during lunch hour! I love this Subway! Thanks for making healthful choices pleasant! read more

I visited Subway on Mclay in San Fernando City with my daughter and my friend this past Saturday and we were helped by this nice young gentleman by the name of Joel. This is actually our second time coming to this location and he has helped us on both accounts. What stood out to me was the smile on his face. He was very sweet and accommodation to my friend, daughter, and I. I have been to other Subway stores in the area but the employees there were not as friendly. I am personally reaching out to the Subway company because I believe that it is important for establishments to recognize exemplary employees such as Joel. I had my mom go get me a sub for lunch and she said it was the longest wait ever, one employee was already serving another customer so i know she had her hands full so my mom had to wait for the other employee in the back to come help. She only assisted my mom because the australian man called her out. Theres always something going on in the back around this time 8-10 am. These 2 ladies are always having a conversation and ignore the customers. They notice im there but yet carry on with the conversation they are having. Its not the 1st time. recently on tuesday may 17,2011 in the afternoon my friend and i visited this location thinking we were going to get the best service we are normally accustomed to by subway, but this was our first and last time stopping by at this particular subway due to the fact that the customer serivice was HORRIBLE!!!! two young ladies one with black long hair, big lips, short, chubby and the other one short, light skined, and light hair were extremely RUDE. there was no line and they were in a rush. it seemed like they were trying to get rid of us. they were both making our sandwhiches at the same time which led one of the young ladies to put the wrong ingridients in my sandwhich. instead of making me a new sandwhich after not listening to my order, she wiped the condiment (which i did not ask for) off my sandwhich with a napkin over and over again. she looked at me with attitude and asked me if i wanted a new chicken. i said yes please. she started slapping my vegetables into my sandwhich. the other lady interfered and asked me " didn't you ask for mustard". now why would i ask for mustard if i dislike that in general. she was also rude to my friend when she was ringing us up. overall i will never NEVER come to this subway station again. i rather travel further then to ever stop here. read more
