I love the habit, their meat tastes like high quality meat. I like that they are on door dash and other food delivery options. I really enjoy the sweet potato fries and the salads also. Came here this past Friday and Nataly took my order. I placed my daughter's order which was a char double with no onions or tomatoes. I then tell her I'll have the same but with everything on it. Meaning I'll have a char double with everything on it. She asks me, do you want a char double... I said yes, with everything on it. She then asked me do you want cheese... I said Yes, I want it with everything on it. This is now the 3rd time I've told her I want my burger with everything on it. When I get home my burger doesn't have onions or tomatoes. I really wanted to give this place another chance but I was disappointed once again by the quality and taste of the food. The burgers were cold and dry. They needed salt or some time of flavor. The only thing good were the fries, which they didn't over salt this time and the onion rings. It's way too pricey to be so bad. Service could be friendlier. Only one employee smiled. Habit is so inconsistent it's laughable. They charge premium fast food prices but the food and consistency just doesn't match the price. A few nights ago I ordered a salad, the avocado was rotten, salad was brown, and bacon was just slices put on top. They were nice enough to send me a meal coupon for the inconvenience. Tonight I went to order because I didn't make it to the meat market before they closed. I tried to place an online order and couldn't use the meal ticket, fine, I just want dinner after work and I don't want to wait any longer. So I pay and preorder it on my card. I tried the steak sandwich. The "steak" is no better than a burger and about 1/8 of the size. It's so small it only fills less than half of the bun. It said it came with a bbq sauce and a garlic sauce, I ordered without bbq, andddd there's no garlic sauce. It also showed it had cheese in the app, but no cheese. During the summer I came and wanted to try their desert burger with its chipotle aioli, it also didn't have the sauce. So if you're in the mood for rotten food, small portions, and dry meals that don't contain the ingredients it says it has, and then pay nearly $50 for two people to eat at a fast food restaurant, then habit is your place. I'm definitely good off of habit, and won't be back. Frustrating to say the least. read more

Ordered curbside pickup but had to go inside. I ordered curbside because I had to keep my kids in the car. I will say this. The cars parked in the curbside slots had no people inside and were there before I arrived and after I left- so they were not picking up. Please do better! Some of us really need the options to stay in the car and it's unfortunate that you allow the inappropriate use of services. Also, we had ordered shakes and you tell us that you don't know why we were allowed to order them because the machine is broken. Your approach can be different and more courteous. read more

Came to this habit burger to eat with my dad on 11/16/2025 , Ordered 2 double char burgers with no grilled onions instead raw onions and they make with grilled onions and i have mentioned a couple times to the cashier guy and when we received the order, it was made with grilled onions they say I'm sorry we will fix it and give it to you a new burger and when it was ready, it has a couple grilled onions inside again and then I return it back again and didn't want to eat anymore so I left the burger place they took the old burger replace it and give it back to me again the same burger that had the grilled onion inside and I had allergy for the grilled onions really bad service. One of my favorite restaurants but not this location. I always substitute my burger with sourdough bread and this location says they won't change the bun. I've been to at least 12 locations it was not a problem I don't like regular buns, I don't even mind a surcharge even though it's never been a problem before. First things first. I absolutely LOVE Habit Burger, before Yum Brands took over. So, having been a Sylmar resident for most of my adult life, I was overjoyed when I found out Habit coming to our little corner of La La Land. No longer would I have to go to Santa Clarita to partake in the delightful Santa Barbara Char. I could drive 1.5 miles and get my fix of some of the best burgers, sandwiches, and fries to be had. Good fast food is very difficult to find here and Habit was going to be a shining star. Unfortunately it's more of a dying black hole. I've eaten at this Habit no less than 10 times since it opened. I've had various menu items and they are always are a disappointment. Most recently, on national hamburger day no less, our meal was exceptionally bad. My wife's burger was a sloppy mess. My daughter's chicken nuggets were burnt and tasted old. The grilled cheese we bought her (she's a toddler and fickle) tasted like it was cooked with fish. My chicken club had two tomatoes that looked like they were 4 weeks old and were inedible. There was so much grease in the bottom of the onion ring basket that I could've used it to fry eggs afterward. To top it all off we ordered two fries and the chicken nuggets which should entitle us to three condiments. We asked for two ranch dressings and one barbecue. They gave us one ranch and told us we had to pay for extra. No thanks, my $45+ meal should get me at least one condiment each but they wanted to charge an additional 60¢ per condiment. As if you're not making enough money already Yum Brands? And the kicker? The person behind the counter gave out free condiments to no less than 5 people while we waited for our food. So, as you might expect, my suggestion would be eat here at your own risk, and if you do decide to eat here, bring change if you want additional ranch that should have been included with your meal. I won't be eating here ever again. read more

We always have a great experience at the habit, our go to chicken sandwich and charbroil burger. Try out their delicious ranch and barbecue sauce. we're always taken care us by their gracious staff, Nataly and Alma, both welcomed us from the moment they saw us step in, other employees look very dedicated in the back as well. Our food came out promptly and well prepared. The ambiance of the restaurant gives it more life when Alma and Nataly welcomes the people while at the same time they take their time to check on the table, to clean the and to ask if we need anything else. I recently placed a $65 order at this location, and the experience was nothing short of disappointing. While waiting for my milkshakes to be finished, another worker approached me and asked, "Are you guys waiting for something?" Really? Clearly, I was, but I didn't mind waiting at all. I responded, "Just for my shakes, but can I get a side of ranch, please?" To my surprise, she replied, "We do charge for ranch." I couldn't believe it. After spending $65 on food, they couldn't spare a small cup of ranch? I've never been to a Habit that charges for ranch. Here's the kicker--the employee who said this was the MANAGER. I could understand if it were a regular worker, but a MANAGER? If you're going to charge for ranch, a simple, "Hey, our policy changed, we charge $0.60 for ranch now. Is that okay?" would've been reasonable. Instead, I was hit with a blunt and unhelpful "We do charge for ranch." Really, what was I supposed to say to that?... Did she really expect me to pull out my wallet and pay for a small cup of ranch after talking to me like that? So disrespectful. It gets worse. She then called someone else's order and placed their tray directly in front of me when there was plenty of space at the counter. I know she did that so I could move. So petty, and what a lack of courtesy. As for the food, our burgers and green beans were too salty when my me and my parents ate them at home. There were salt flakes all over our fingers. I get that the employees might have been in a rush and put a little too much salt... it happens... I've been there too... but that's not what this review is about. The MANAGER has no excuse for such rude service. It's ghetto, to say the least. After paying $65 for my order, I could've told her something but I preferred to stay quiet. We used to love Habit but because of their new Ranch policy. We're done with this place. Charging .60 for ranch when it's already unaffordable to eat out. We'll be taking our business to the new In N Out. Shame on your Habit putting profit over your customer base. Overpriced and not worth it anymore.
