This is the most long overdue review that I have left. Why? Idk but I've been here 5 times in the last few months, which is A LOT considering I've been trying my best to eat at home lol. Suha Bites Sushiburrito and Hawaiian BBQ is located in the Sea Breeze Village northeast of Buffalo Dr and Vegas Dr (same parking lot as Albertsons). There's lots of parking spots but the parking lot does tend to get pretty crowded since it's a busy little shopping center. The staff never misses a beat not lets any seconds pass after we walk in to greet us with a warm and cheerful welcome. It's tiny little spot with very limited seating, when available, so we usually heat place take out orders. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained as well. Their Hawaiian BBQ menu has so many options to choose from and they also serve sushi burritos. For the sushi burritos you have a choice of either a Build-Your-Own option or you can choose from their already preset creations option. For the B-Y-O option they hung you a little piece of paper with options for you to select for your burrito, but don't forget to write your name at the top. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of their food is great. I've never been disappointed with their presentation or the taste and my eyes are usually always bigger than my stomach and they give you a pretty hefty portion. Needless to say I can go their for lunch and have enough for lunch and dinner. The hours are great too so it's a great spot to pick up simmering for lunch or dinner after work, especially if you don't feel like cooking. Will I be coming back? Well YES YES YES...duh! lol. Place is really easy to find, and really clean inside. But not much tables to sit at. The prices for their lunch menu is a great deal! With excellent portions. My husband and I love Hawaiian food but have picky eaters for kids. I looked ahead and saw this place was nearby and had a variety of options since they make sushi burritos and have boba! The place was nice. Clean and decorations/setting was pleasant. I had a large order for a family of 5 and although we had to wait for one item the service was awesome. Although it's a to go style spot they brought the food to our table with dishes for us to share. The food was amazing! The only thing I didn't like was onions in the macaroni salad but I just ate around it. I ordered my kids the chicken katsu which they devoured. My oldest had a sushi burrito which he said was so "bomb". He chose when in it which was helpful. He also liked the gravy for the fries. My husband and I got combination plates and the bbq sauce had a nice thick consistency. Don't skip on the sweet mayo shrimp. Fire! The portions are much smaller while the prices have gone up. The staff are not as friendly as the previous owner. They eliminated their points system so any points saved are now gone, I had enough for 2 free meals. Instead of offering something in exchange like an appetizer or drink, the women simply laughed an stated they have been removed since the owners have switched. We ordered the poke nachos with added surimi, bbq chicken all Mac, no rice and the bbq short ribs all Mac no rice. Everything was outstanding. The chicken and beef were cooked perfectly. Being a family of islanders, their menu is quite attractive when trying to find food to fill starving or partying bellies. They aren't owned by islanders but that's okay because their options are nice and the pricing is competitive. I have purchased trays of their musubi, large family dinners, and poke bowls. We had poke bowls. First we had to write down what we wanted and waited 25 min and had to go ask when we were getting our food. We were the only seated guests. The results were in editable. There was so much rice saturated with sauce it was disgusting. My husband checked seaweed salad and they created the bowl with that as a base. You can see how much of that he did not eat. The poke bowl was hefty, had a fair amount of fish in it. I think it was 7.5 for one fish, added another fish for like 1.5 more. I really liked their wasabi sauce, not too strong. The patty in the hamburger steak was so dry and overcooked and the gravy was disgusting! One of the worst gravy' I've ever had. Idk what they put into it but it had a very weird aftertaste. The mac salad had no seasoning at all and tasted off! They either use cheap mayo or used kewpie, cause they sure don't use best foods mayo. Ordered calamari and have no idea what I actually got, cause the pic online was different than what I received. I couldn't take a chance of eating it cause I'm allergic to shrimp. But spare me the fancy fresh swordfish or the imported aioli, what hits the spot for me is probably something more akin to a teriyaki bowl wrapped in a sheet of seaweed. With that said, Suha Bites thoroughly disappointed me on that front. The ingredients tasted fresh but the assembly was sloppy at best. The sauce drenched the burrito, overwhelming some parts and leaving this Yelper with a dripping mess of goopy seaweed at the end. The chicken and other ingredients were concentrated unevenly in opposing corners of the burrito.
