I brought my Nissan to Sullivan Brothers Nissan in Kingston for a routine oil change. The service felt rushed, and I went on with my day running errands before heading home. Later, I received a phone call from the dealership stating they had forgotten to reinstall my engine air filter after I declined a replacement. They asked me to return so they could install it at no charge. On my way back, my AWD, ABS, check engine, and oil warning lights all came on. My vehicle began vibrating and stalling, forcing me to pull over on I-495. It was a frightening experience, especially after bringing my vehicle in for nothing more than routine maintenance. Once I made it back to the dealership, they inspected the vehicle, reinstalled the air filter, cleaned the area, and apologized. They also told me there were no active check engine codes. While I appreciate that they apologized and addressed the issue, this should never have happened in the first place. A routine oil change should not leave a customer stranded on the side of the highway wondering if their vehicle is safe to drive. I hope Sullivan Brothers Nissan uses this as an opportunity to improve its quality control so no one else has to experience what I did. read more

If you have a scheduled appointment with them, they will call you 30 mins prior to your appointment and say the computers are down and they can't fix your car anymore. Avoid this place, unless you are fine with empty promises and shady business practices. Over two-years ago, I brought my 2021 Nissan Titan in for service at Sullivan Brothers Nissan and pointed out to the service advisor unusual peeling on the sidewall of two tires. He stated that it appeared the tires were defective. After looking into the issue, I was presented with two options: Option A. File a defect claim through the manufacturer (General) or Option B. File a damage claim through the wheel and tire warranty that I purchased. He stated Option B. would be the easier path to rectify this. I stated that the tires had good tread, and the damage didn't appear to be affecting the structural integrity of the tires, to which he agreed. I stated that I would wait until it was time to replace all four and would file a claim for the two original defective tires at that time. I was not only assured this was possible, but was told that world be a smart idea. Which brings us to the present. I recently brought my 2021 Nissan Titan in to Sullivan Brothers Nissan on 08/18/2025 to have a few items looked at, one being the two defective tires. I was told by the service advisor that they wouldn't be covered because I hit a curb (which I didn't, nor did I ever say that I had). I relayed the aforementioned history to which he reiterated the tires still wouldn't be covered. I expressed my dissatisfaction, especially considering that I've been a loyal Sullivan Brothers Nissan customer for 12-years. It didn't matter until I left a negative review on this website. I received a call from the general manager on 09/02 apologizing and stating he wished I told him about the situation before posting the negative review as he would've seen to it that the problem was taken care of. He assured me that he was going to talk to the service manager to rectify the situation. He also stated the negative review was "killing him" and asked if I'd take it down. Against my better judgement, I removed the negative post. Needless to say, after wasting almost two-hours at the dealership on a day that was suggested for me come to come in, the problem still exists. The best they would do is pay for one tire. After insisting on the two, I was told that if I put a nail or screw in both tires or punctured the sidewall of the tires (while the one suggestion was verbally communicated, I do have a text message of the second) then they'd run a damage claim through the wheel and tire warranty. I absolutely refuse to be complicit in scamming a warranty company. It's shocking and utterly disgusting that was even suggested! All I wanted was Sullivan Brothers Nissan to honor the warranty that they sold me, and their word. Apparently, that's too much to ask. read more

Waste of Time! called and made an appointment, got a call back saying their master mechanics haven't showed up for work this morning (Tuesday after a long weekend) Said I could drop off my vehicle and they would check it in the morning. Dropped it off. called at 10 Am to make sure they were going to work on it.(re assured by Tom they would get to it) Called again at 2 pm (got voice mail)called at 4 pm Tom Told me they never brought it in. I asked him to leave the keys in it and got a ride to pick it up so I can go somewhere else. This is a work vehicle which I need to make a living which I conveyed the importance of getting it worked on in a timely manner. I am expanding my company and was considering buying another NV2500 but I will surely not be buying it from this place. read more

My car's air conditioner was not working and one tire kept leaking air so I brought it in for service. The A/C compressor was replaced (100,000 miles on my 2008 car) at similar cost as other dealerships but still costly. They said they replaced the valve on the tire but it still loses air way faster than the other tires. Communication less than stellar. Varies by employee. Polite and not pushy about extra adds. Parts department is great when I go to have my key battery replaced. read more

They gave me one oil change, and then said they could not find the information for the other ones that were part of the sales agreement. Very unprofessional men working there. They will sell you a car that is WAY overpriced. Also, they don't disclose accidents their vehicles have been in, found out the hard way. If you trade your car in be sure to take all your personal information out, bought a vehicle and had all the previous owners personal information left in the glove compartment, shows how well they go through their vehicles. Check VERY close for scratches on the vehicles, once the wax wears off you will be stuck with a mess. read more

I will never return to this dealership or refer anyone to go here ever again. My end of lease was the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership. Was told that Nissan would absolve $500 worth of damages whether or not I decided to stay with them. I would have taken the car to be repaired on my own if I knew that the information given to me was a lie. I called and emailed the dealership multiple times. Evan admitted to being wrong and thought that Nissan would absolve the damages since most car companies do at the end of lease. When I contacted Nissan, they said the dealership should honor what I was told. After trying to contact the dealership manager multiple times, they NEVER returned my phone calls. Going to the dealership to talk with someone was not an option since I was moving out of state at the time. I originally posted this exact review on their Facebook page about 3 months ago. Evan contacted me and wanted to make things right. 3 months have passed and the situation has yet to be taken care of. NOT HAPPY. Professional and Courteous Dealer Exceeded My Expectations I am very particular about my vehicles and pretty value-oriented (aka "cheap") when it comes to buying new cars. I do lots of research and conduct all my preliminary negotiations by email and only contact dealers that make a good faith best offer up front. I have to say that Sullivan Brothers Nissan exceeded my expectations both in terms of price and delivery of my new Nissan Murano. They had the best price and negotiated in a very respectful and transparent manner. I initially worked with Christine by email and phone to agree on an out-the-door price that included all the options I wanted. I then went to the dealership to test drive the car and finalize the deal. Sullivan Bros uses a "team" approach to selling cars that I was initially a little apprehensive about because I like dealing with the person I originally made the agreement with over the phone. However, I have to say that the Sales Manager Evan and Sales Advisor Cory were absolutely fantastic when I arrived at the dealership. Everything checked out with the vehicle and I finalized the purchase agreement in less than 2 hours including my test drive. Delivery the next day was great and they did everything they needed to get my car registered and inspected in just a couple hours. Jack in Finance was very efficient in completing the paperwork with me and was very respectful about my time when I declined any additional dealer warranty coverage (no high pressure sales). There were a couple little, minor miscommunications and details that needed to be addressed during the sales and delivery process and I feel that Cory went out of his way to ensure that my expectations (which are very high) were not only met, but exceeded. I bought a vehicle from SB in 2004-the sales person was fantastic. The service department has ALWAYS been horrible. Stopped going to Sullivan when they were dropped by Mercury. Today however they put the nail in their coffin with me. They should be aware that when they are driving a vehicle with "Sullivan Nissan" on the side-they are projecting an image for the business. I though i was smarter than that but I agreed to buy the car. well 3 months later and 6000 miles on the tires I went to another Nissan dealership to get an oil change they told me that I need tires and brakes I said that's impossible because I just bouugh the car 3 months ago. I went back to Sullivan Nissan and after reading what a CERTIFIED CAR meant that tires and Brakes need to have at least 50% left on them. They told me they couldn't help me. The dealership service department has always been second to none! However, I have been a loyal Nissan owner for 20 years 5 purchases and 4 leases. Sullivan in Kingston was usually good but this last time they really missed the boat. The GM and Finance Managers don't return calls. I have tried left messages appeared in person to buyout my most recent lease and they never call back and follow up. They had one finance manager there at one point 6 months ago that actually told me to walk away from my lease obligation -lol. The most recent finance managers currently there (2 of them) take your info and don't get back to you. Had a couple late payments last year but score is sill okay to get help with finance. The dealership just seem to not have the incentive to treat loyal customers well! read more

Nothing but issues. I bought a GMC Yukon at Sullivan Brothers Nissan. I was informed that if I bought the extended warranty through them, they would cover all the repairs and that they work with GMC Dealers all the time reassuring me that the truck would be taken care of. Every time the truck gets serviced, it has been a hassle getting a rental car, something that's suppose to be included in the warranty. They even put be in a cargo van for a week. Finally after getting my car serviced several times for the same issue, a check engine light, I decided to take the truck to a GMC Dealer. $2800 later I will have a running truck again. I've been told by the GMC Dealer that if routine issues had been serviced each time I brought the truck to Sullivan Bros, my truck would not need the $2800 repairs. BUYER BEWARE. Although purchasing the vehicle was a pleasant experience with Billy Barboza, the service side of Sullivan Bros. Nissan has been headache after headache. read more

I did not have a good experience 3yrs ago when I leased my Nissan Pathfinder but in the end they made up for the bate and sale tactics used during the negotiations by giving me a good deal. My 2018 lease will be up July 1st 2021 at which point I can walk away from the lease owing nothing. I received a call out of the blue yesterday stating Nissan Brothers were desperately looking for vehicles like mine and that if I came into the dealership they would take my lease and pay off what I owed essentially having it be a wash. I did not believe this to be true so I had the associate ask and verify this with the manager because I had no intention on going their if they were going to add any cost to me returning the lease. They insisted that if I came in they would absorb the lease if I bought a car from then. I cancelled my plans and made arrangements for my children and drove in to the dealer. They had me drive a beautiful 2019 Nissan Armana and we sat down to make a dear. I reminded the sales person that I was not paying one dollar to turn in my lease early and that this was promised to me on the phone before I gave up my time to come in. The sales person spoke to one of the owners and came back stating that he had a great deal for me. He tried to hide the fact that he was requiring me to pay $4,000.00 to turn in my lease. I had several choice words for both the owner and the sales person. And I stormed out. This was a complete waste of my time!!! I owe $4,000.00 in 8 months left months left to this lease so they thought that I was so stupid that I would payoff the remaining payments and turn in my lease and purchased their car for the sticker price and not a penny less. This shows me that they take advantage of their customers and hope that they are not smart enough to read between the lines. Very poor customer service. They are deceitful. DO NOT GO HERE!! I just had the WORST experience of my life with a staff member named Scott. My friend was going in to buy out her lease, and Scott had forgotten her appointment, and did not go over the paperwork she had sent in three days prior. Immediately when we walked in he told us to come to his office and barged off, not even walking us to his office or letting us in. He then had horrible attitude, and literally yelled at us for asking if he could update the GPS in her 2018 Rogue (Which still had the sagamore rotary in it). He said that should have been addressed years ago if it were an issue, and my friend had gone 3 times to get it fixed, but every time she went back the staff member who promised an update was then fired (notice a trend?) When I politely asked him to remain calm so we can reach an agreement, he continued to yell at us which resulted in us walking out of the dealership. Save yourself the stress and anxiety and try the nissan in Hingham instead. Do not waste your time here being talked down to. read more

Disgusting Cory Fuller, who was my sales advisor at Sullivan Brothers Nissan, informed me that the dealership would do the following to the 2015 Sonata LE for agreed upon price of $10,697. This included: Resurface all 4 rotors 2 keys Alignment Car matts Oil change Fixed broken clip in trunk Paul O Sullivan, General Manager, Sullivan Brothers Nissan, lacks integrity. When my daughter and I went to the dealership to sign the paperwork, he stalled us while he had numerous conversations with Finance, without us present. After waiting 45 minutes, we are told that we could get an interest rate of 10+ %. When I said I'll pay cash, I was told that the price of $10,697 required financing through the dealership. Never once was I told the price was only valid if I financed. No where on the site does it state that the price is only valid if I finance through the dealership. So basically, Paul tried being shady by hiding what Cory Fuller, sales advisor, had lied to me about, by passing the cost to me on the backend. Against my better judgement and because my daughter, who the vehicle was for, cried all night because she thought she was finally getting a vehicle, She had been without a vehicle for roughly a month when her's was hit and totaled. She works 3 jobs and attends College, so I think you can appreciate her need for a vehicle. I ended up purchasing the vehicle and was promptly charged an additional $200 for what Cory lied to me about. Less then 2 months of owning the vehicle, the tire sensor light came on. I took the vehicle to Firestone, who informed me that all 4 tires had excessive dry rot and cracking in the treads and were all just above legally bald. I was informed it was not safe to drive. I contacted Cory Fuller, my sales advisor, and forwarded the paperwork from Firestone. Cory informed me that the dealership would reimburse me $200 towards the purchase of 4 new tires. I purchased the tires and forwarded Cory a copy of the invoice. I followed up to see when the $200 check was mailed. He informed me that the check had been mailed. After several days passed, I reached out to Cory again. After several attempts to reach him, he again told me the check had been mailed. This has gone on for over a month and half, and I still have not received the check. Do yourself a favor, avoid Sullivan Brothers Nissan and save yourself a bunch of headaches and money! I had a great experience last weekend when I leased my 4th Nissan from Sullivan. I had some questions and concerns on the lease contract and contacted my sales person, Will, who was responsive. Will arranged for the finance person, Ned, to give me a call. While talking to Ned he patiently answered each of my questions. I know there are several staff members there who have been with Sullivan Bros. since the beginning, over 30 years, that says a lot about the dealership in my opinion. YES they "Lied"and said they did it...Which The NEVER put the warranty in place! ...let Lincoln pay for all my repairs under the Lincoln Warranty over the past 3 years and now I find out I'm not covered because they "Lied" yet again when they were supposed to do it after finding out this information .. the General Manager , Paul Sullivan cowardly had his financial director call me to say he decided he's not doing anything about it! AMAZING...signed contract with his signature on it , as well as an addendum with both the finance director, General Manager and myself.. just decided he is going to continue to lie, cheat the customer and practice the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Honestly not worth the trouble. Called one day wanting to confirm a part number so I could order parts on a car. I was told they would be required to put it on a lift and could not give me the part number over the pone. Next day tried to schedule an appointment to get my car worked on, was told that my car would be picked up at work by one of the managers which was nice of them. Monday appointment rolls around, no one comes to get the keys I call and am told someone will be by later, that they are short staffed, noon time no one shows, when I call the dealership I am told someone will come by later, 1540 rolls around, still no one shows up and I am leaving work at one job to head to my second one. When I call up the dealership I am told that a manager will contact me very shortly. 1800h rolls around still no call, no explanation no anything. tuesday morning rolls around day 4. I call up to them asking what happened. Apparently they called a phone number that was not mine and left a message with the cars previous owner expecting me to get the message. Not sure how that could happen due to it being a completely different owner. When I finally got this message (two days later) from the dealership themselves it was more of a message of "tough shit sucks to be you" . Typical high pressure sale tactics, unorganized and what seems to be a very confused, unprofessional staff. This review does not reflect our sales person (Roxanne) in any way at all. She was great. My wife and I ended up leasing a 17 Rogue (which she loves) we went in with the intentions of simply getting numbers, since we were on the fence of a few different makes and models and that's where the pressure began. As expected the manager, (Mike) came right over and presented the absurdly high numbers to start, and after several "checking with my manager" we started to get them lower and lower as if it was easy to do...Yes, I understand that they are a business and they need to make profit but, why start so high? Knowing that we are currently looking at other models and brands, shouldn't you try and present the make that you represent more appealing? Especially after claiming that Nissan's are so much better than anything else out there. Dropping over $100 a month (with less money down) in 20 minutes of negotiating left me a little uneasy but hey, It got us to where we wanted to be. Shoot your shot I guess... After the sale was all said and done, or at least we thought... My wife heads down to pick her new vehicle up and then is told when she gets there that the finance paperwork was submitted incorrectly from the night before, and that she will need to resign everything all over again. This is where it gets really funny, they tried to have her resign for a completely different car. Luckily she caught their "mistake" and corrected the issue, but c'mon now... how on earth does that even happen? In addition it took a week to receive the registration. We negotiated fog lamps into our deal, assuming they would be installed before pick up but we then found out that they were on backorder and would take a couple of weeks for them to arrive. After the arrival of the parts, my wife gets a call and wanted to set up a time for me to bring the car in. The service guys told her that they needed to check with sales and get an approval for a loaner before we could head down. Several hours passed and no call back, I decided to head down anyways and get to the bottom of the issue (we only live 5 minutes away) and I didn't mind waiting for the repairs to get done or at least call for an uber. Upon arrival, they had literally no idea who called and if the parts were actually in. After a few minutes of scrambling, trying to find the manager or my sales person, they confirmed that they were in but they still needed an approval for the loaner. 10-15 minutes later, the service guys, just said forget it and put me in a car anyways which I do appreciate. When the car was completed the next day, my wife goes to pick it up and the service department "lost" or couldn't find the paper work and kept her there for a few minutes while they looked. Never found... Just reprint it man. I'm super OCD and keep all car related receipts. It's all good though. My biggest gripe is the amount of unprofessionalism this dealership produces, you have clients spending thousands of dollars and the lack of competence this staff has is unbearable. They have children running departments, managers wearing un-tucked polo's, and others wearing shorts with high top sneakers... There wasn't opportunity to offer zero stars so I had to put one. So for the service department they double booked everything so a job that should take no more than two hours potential has you waiting for an hour to two hours extra in the waiting room. For example it shouldn't take from 830 until 2 o'clock to change the wheels and do an alignment. Last time I bring my car here for service,holy cow. read more
