This place was not very good. Gyro didn't taste right. Food overall was not fresh or hot.

This place is inside the galleria mall, fresh salads, the kabobs are full of flavor, their hummus is one of the best in houston. I was surprised to find great quality of food inside the mall . The place is very clean and the service was fast. If you want something healthy and fresh you should try it. Can't wait for them to open a location outside of the mall. read more

Terrible! Worst service ever! I've had better service at the memorial mall location. So many staff and yet slow service. The staff who work there are incompetent and have bad listening skills. My food was drenched with hot sauce, and absolutely no garlic sauce what so ever. Never ever coming back to this or the other location. Until the owner figures out what to do. The shawarmas are never freshly cut. It's always pre cut, and they just reheat it for you! What's the point of a shawarma if you're not gonna cut it to order? Smh. I was at the galleria and decided to try this halal option with lots of veggies for my little toddler. I told them I only wanted veggies and very small portion since it was too feed my 12 month old baby, I got three veggie small (I'm talking two spoonfuls) sides and they charged me $11, which is the full portion adult veggie option they had. I told them specifically it was for my child, and the employee who was fulfilling my order failed to mention that it will be the same price. Had I known that, I would have gotten regular portion of whatever veggie option they had. I didn't appreciate the service and the lack of communication. Stopped by to get something to go. While most of their salads are fresh I cannot say good things about their pre-cut chicken. It was dry and hard. Next time I will have them give me fresher chicken or that's the last time they will get my business. Mediterranean food is a favorite of mine. Here at Sultan Pepper the food bowl I selected was fresh with gyro meat topped on lettuce and rice with a chipotle dressing. The food had good flavor with a sizable portion while remaining light. I ate some there and finished the remainder once I got home. The price was reasonable as I selected a cup of water. Within the last 5 to 10 years it looks like there has been a trend of dishes being served in bowls. It interesting, but in thinking certain bowl dishes and foods have been around for a long for instance, like a bowl of CEREAL... Located in a mall food court so expect standard fare. You can get away for about $10 for 1 meat and 2 sides, just realize that your not at an authentic restaurant and its more like a fast food place. read more

I really wanted to like this place. I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because I want to give them another chance. I ordered the chicken shawarma and it was terrible. They totally went cheap on the chicken and the garlic sauce is just mayo with a hint of garlic. So you're basically getting a mayonnaise salad sandwich with a little bit of chicken sprinkled on it as a garnish. Gross! It cost nearly $8 and so that just compounded my regret at trying this place. I'll give them one more chance and update my review, but this experience was a 1 star experience. read more

EAT HERE! Seriously such amazing food. There were four of us and it was so quick, hot, fresh, clean, and healthy. The hummus was house made along with everything else and it was so fresh. Great for anyone with food allergies. The chicken kabobs were flavorful and tender. The cabbage salad was fresh and clean. The rice was no ordinary rice. This place is the real deal. I was in a hurry at the Galleria mall and this ended up being the best choice for my Gyro craving. You can allay your guilt versus the other places in the Galleria food court by ordering a side of salad like Tabouleh instead of fries. The Gyro perhaps takes a bit longer than the more fast food places but it's worth the wait because they carve it fresh and fill it with great toppings. I didn't feel too full eating it and the tabouleh is a tart and herby contrasting side. Good stuff. read more

I don't know what was going on with the rice, but they had hard, dried up rice grains in them, almost like they were uncooked or maybe sitting out for a while?. The food is fine, but the service needs work. I wanted a side and a meat entree. They insisted I get two sides. I don't like to eat much meat so I asked for the fish and they said they're out.
