Each combo comes with a drink for just $11. The portions are huge--I always get 2-3 meals out of one combo! I honestly don't know how they're making any money with such generous servings. Side note: you can either order a pint or a quart for each entree. We've always done a quart and one quart alone can feed like 4-6 people depending on how hungry everyone is and we always have leftovers. My other favorites: You can't go wrong with their sweet and sour chicken, (I like that they put the sauce on the side so it doesn't get soggy) chicken Lo mein (my personal favorite) and beef fried rice. Another thing I've loved is the vegetables, dumpling soup & egg drop soup. I wish I could explain how delicious each thing we've ordered has been but you'll just have to go try it for yourself. This place will be a staple in our family forever and I really hope they never go out of business. Their sodas are also only $1 each and the food prices are astounding for how much you get. Let me tell you something...May god strike me down if I'm lying when I say this is Hands down and beyond a shadow-of-a-doubt the BEST Chinese food I have ever had in my 22 years of life on this planet. The food comes out steaming and fills your soul with the most divine smell that instantly makes your mouth water. The lady at the window is very kind and quickly takes your order and the prices are all around great! I've have Chinese food that doesn't even come close to how good this place is for 2x the price. The chef whose cooking must have been blessed by the jade emperor himself the way food this life changing comes out fast. Once again I've been to places that take 60 minutes to churn out my order, i spent $60 yesterday and got a full dinner for 4 people and it took max 20 minutes. As for the building itself it's in a run down strip mall that has other businesses nearby but it's still easy to miss if you glance over it. There isn't an option to dine in which is probably due to the fact that this place would be fully packed from open to close because of how heavenly the food is. I realized my soup had literally no broth in it at all it was literally just chicken and rice. Then i tried some of my sesame chicken and rice and holy was it horrible. Probably one of the worst chinese places i've ever eaten at unless you like feeling sick for 2 days. I ordered the chicken and broccoli dinner, and I have never had Chinese food that was drenched in so much oil. Absolutely no taste. Just a bunch of peanut or vegetable oil whatever they cook it in. The broccoli was under cooked, which was surprising for being drenched in oil. It also only took them about five minutes to make it which was a bit concerning considering there is meat involved. I order from this place with Uber Eats. They are ALWAYS fast and the order is always hot. This is our favorite Chinese delivery restaurant. We typically order the sweet and sour chicken and then at least one other entree. The Chinese donuts are delicious. Unlike many other places that forget your drink when you order through an app, China Garden has never forgotten our sodas and they are always cold. I am picky with my chicken and beef entrees and don't like dishes that use all parts and pieces of the meat and add it to my dish. I never have to worry about that with China Garden. And their receipts don't have the annoying "tip" line, so I never felt uncomfortable. And soda cans are only one dollar, tax included. Pine Hills needs a place like this. China Garden is on the corner of colonial and John Young. Its a little wonky hole in the wall but its near the sheriff's department. It was my first time here and I thought i seen a review on yelp but I didn't find it. I went during their lunch special hours and orders a L7 , General Tso Chicken with pork fried fried and a drink for 6$ but added another drink (can) for a dollar. The rice was a light golden brown and I like the crunch of the chicken, the way I remember from Chicago.
