Gotta get the that Nashville Hot Chicken
    Tamia L.

The food is always good, in fact Summit has one of the best Nashville Hot Chicken sandwiches.. it's hot in flavor, and the aoili is delicious! I ordered my bun to be isolated from the chicken because the oil from the chicken can make it soggy. My order was packaged correctly. The carry out area is pretty odd. Once you go through side door, you wait at counter, there's no indication how anyone knows you're there, you just wait. I didn't wait long though.

Cannot remeber the specific names but one in right was the happy hour drinks

Second time we have been to Summit Grill while visiting from out of state. After this visit we have decided this will be a must visit on all our trips to KC. We arrived during happy hour to take advantage of happy hour specials. Rhe Mahi tacos were amazing! Enjoyed those and some drinks at the bar before moving to our table reservation. We chose the pot roast nachos...another amazing dish and then we split the chicken fried chicken. Splitting was plenty of food after having 2 appetizers! The meal was delicious! Highly recommend this place and these appetizers and this entree! A d the Summit Punch was pretty darn good too!

Blackened salmon salad was pretty good. It's kind of a bummer that this place doesn't have better service, but they are just always very understaffed. Pretty yummy food and appetizers though. (3.6 stars)

It's not often that a salad blows you away. However, I can say that the grilled chicken and goat cheese salad at Summit Grill was phenomenal. Not only was this probably the best grilled chicken I have ever tasted, the combination of the warm goat cheese croquettes, strawberries, pears, and candied walnuts put this salad over the top. We also started with a butter board which as phenomenal. I loved the warm bread, and the butter with the hot honey on top was my favorite. I will say service was kind of cold. We were reminded several times when we arrived that the kitchen closed in an hour (and then the restaurant an hour after that.) It came off as being annoyed, even though we ordered and finished our meals before the kitchen closed.

I went during restaurant week. There is parking nearby. The staff were friendly and gave us suggestions for the food. The drinks were delicious and came to us quickly. The interior was clean and well decorated. The chicken was tasty and the amount of food was spectacular. I would not recommend the soup but it was a restaurant week special.

Every year we use restaurant week as an opportunity to try a new spot. This year we went to Summit Grill and we were quite pleased. The space was very nice and clean. The food and drinks were fast and delicious. We definitely come back for another round. Definitely recommend the Chicken Fried Chicken and the Romano Chicken all Vodka.

We had a fantastic meal at Summit Grill. This meal did not disappoint. He ordered the farmhouse burger served with egg, cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, aioli. I orders the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Both plates served with shoestring fries...yum! This spot has daily happy hour & brunch on the weekends. The restaurant has upscale and vibey aesthetics. Check out Summit Grill asap!

Service : attentive and kind Drinks: We came in on a Monday night to grab drinks. Apparently Mondays the special is half off wine under $100. Great deal and my friends and I shared one bottle. Ambiance: Definitely a lot more space than the Northland location. It's moody! Gives grown and sexy! I love the beautiful bar. Good place to grab dinner with the girls and a romantic date night.

Went on a Tuesday evening and sat in the bar. $5 house margarita was very good. Bar was packed but bartender kicked its &$$. She was very friendly, busy but it didn't affect her service. Corned beef brisket Rueben was incredible. Great experience.

Tried out Sunday morning brunch at Summit Grill last month. It was less busy than we thought and louder than we'd expect given the lack of people. We'd picked this place after seeing it mentioned for excellent bottomless mimosas but should have called to verify as it's no longer a thing. There weren't any vegan brunch options which was a bummer. They were also out of the hummus, so I ordered a side of shoestring fries and the house salad {tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, radishes}. Both were ok but for me didn't justify the cost and trip to the area. Overall, seems like a nice place, but I'm not finding a reason for myself personally to return.

Go to the bar side if you want their happy hour specials. Sitting on the other side negates those specials.

"Premier" isn't marketing flair - it's accurate. This is, hands down, the best raw bar in Kansas City. We arrived for our 5:15 p.m. reservation in the main dining room and were warmly greeted by Allison, our server. She struck the perfect balance - friendly, engaging, and attentive throughout the meal. A great start to the evening. For two diners, we wanted to explore as much of the menu as possible. Before ordering food, we were told the signature Frozen Gin & Tonic was a must. It lived up to the reputation - bright, refreshing, and expertly balanced. The only thing that would have made it better was a slightly warmer dining room. We're big mussel fans, so we opened with the Bangs Island Mussels - and they set the bar high. A generous portion of plump mussels bathed in a white wine and roasted tomato broth that was deeply flavorful without being heavy. The toasted bread was perfect for soaking up every last bite. Simply outstanding. Next came the NOLA-Style Shrimp Gumbo. Served in a small bowl, but packed with richness and depth. Adding a touch of hot sauce brought just the right amount of heat and complexity. A standout dish. My wife - having happily overindulged in mussels and bread - opted for a lighter course: a single Maryland Crab Cake, available fried or broiled. It was almost all crab, clean and flavorful, with a satisfying crust. She couldn't finish it...so I did. When you go to a raw bar, oysters are non-negotiable. I ordered a half dozen featuring both East and West Coast varieties. Each one was pristine, briny, and fresh, and the horseradish had just the right bite. For my entrée, I chose the Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp - four large prawns, each wrapped in crisp, smoky bacon. Simple, well-executed, and a strong finish to the savory courses. Dessert did not disappoint. My wife loved the Lemon Pistachio Chess Torte, while I devoured the Bourbon Apple Tart. She noted that the toasted meringue reminded her of marshmallows - a detail that made us smile. The dining room is intimate and can get noisy as it fills up. Next time, we'll likely try the patio for a different vibe. Pacing throughout the meal was spot-on, dishes came out promptly from the kitchen, and Allison's service tied everything together into a truly memorable evening. We'll definitely be back - and soon.

Allison walked us through the various oysters on the menu as well as a variety of mains and wines. As for food, I will just say that everything we ordered was excellent. The stars of the evening, though, were the tots and caviar as well as the roasted oysters. This evening, though, was truly made by Allison. This woman was incredibly personable, amazingly efficient, and beautifully professional. Allison is, perhaps, the best all around server we have had in months, maybe a whole year. This was our family's first time at Earl's, but certainly won't be our last.
