So glad I found this place. Pizza was amazing! I downloaded the TooGoodToGo app and decided to order from here for the first time. Paid $5.99 for the reservation on the app. Was only supposed to get 5 slices, but left with 8. So happy I did because I got to try several varieties of their pizza. Tony helped me and he was super sweet! Definitely coming back.

Ordered via Uber Eats for delivery one Wednesday evening. We had the chicken roll, Italian hot sandwich, and a cheese pizza. The chicken roll was pretty good - it came with some marinara sauce for dipping. The Italian hot sandwich was just an Italian sandwich but pressed, which I didn't care for because it ended up cooking the lettuce and tomatoes that were inside. The best was definitely the cheese pizza. Whenever we order pizza, we tend to order specialty pies, or something we couldn't easily get. But this time, we decided to just keep it simple and I'm glad we did. They do a pretty solid cheese pie here. Plus the large is only $2 more. Will definitely be ordering from here again sometime in the near future!

Just moved to Jersey City from Brooklyn NY, went on the Slice app and looked for a pizzeria with at least a 4 star review. Imagine my surprise when I found this pizzeria had a perfect 5 Star rating and over 700 reviews. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a "special pizza" which is a normal pizza with sausage and veggies. What we got was raw veggies on the "Special" pizza and there was pepperoni in the sausages stead. The large pie was what I would call a medium, the pizza is .....pedestrian would be too much praise, it's just not very good at all. I could have saved the 80 bucks I paid when all the taxes and fees were added (Not the restaurants fault) and walked to the super market and just got some digiorno pizza and added the toppings I want and made sure they were cooked. I award this pizzeria 1 star and advise anyone thinking of ordering from here to save your money and just get some tacos. Come on, Jersey. You can do better. Jalapeño Poppers were garbage too.

The best of the best! I have tried almost everything on their menu and it is absolutely phenomenal. Barstool should come here and review them, thats how good they are.

This was the first time I ordered from here. I tried their buffalo chicken wings and it was good. I ordered delivery from the slice app and the delivery was on time and the delivery guy was really sweet. Will try their pizza next time.

Fried chicken pieces- 2 wings, 2 legs and one thigh( including the back).

Typical jersey pie. Cheese and sauce was ok. The crusty was very doughy.

First impression of the restaurant, there is a lot of seating and everyone was nice! We didn't know we came for happy hour so that was a happy surprise, we ended up ordering the shrimp app on the happy hour menu and it was DELICIOUS, then we got the spicy rigatoni with grilled and breaded chicken. Also AMAZING! Talk about huge portions, honestly we should have shared (rookie mistake on our part) but the portions for the money is such a good deal. We had a lot of left overs we can't wait to eat this week! We will for sure be back to try everything else on the menu.

My friend who lives in Hoboken gave me a few options for Italian restaurants and Il Taviola took reservations, had space for us, and had a very good menu at decent prices. I had thought I had never been to Il Taviola before. But the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was like, well, actually I have been here before and I just straight up forgot. Woops. Well, it was a pleasant surprise to be back and I actually had an even better time this time than last time. I had the spicy chicken parm with rigatoni and wow, it was actually quite spicy. It was really good, but super spicy! My SFIL absolutely loved it though and killed the rest of my dish that I couldn't finish. Most of the group had the lamb ragu orecchiette and thought it was quite good. Both burrata appetizers were really good and thoroughly liked by the table. Service was attentive and we were never rushed. I really enjoyed that the restaurant wasn't super crowded. There were other tables but they were far away enough that we didn't feel like we were on top of each other.

We finally managed to snag a Friday night reservation at 7:30 and I can already tell you this will be the first of many visits. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt like we had been coming there for years. We were greeted so warmly, and within minutes I understood why people love this place so much. And then there's Sharon. She came over personally to wish us a happy anniversary, and we found out that it also happened to be her and Buddy's 28th wedding anniversary! Throughout the night, she kept coming by to check on us, giving us a squeeze, making sure we were taken care of, and just genuinely making us feel like family. Before we left, she gave us both a huge hug and made us promise we'd come back. THAT is what makes a restaurant magical. And the food? Incredible. The Sunday Sauce. The scallops. The steak. The gnocchi. The ice box cake. Every single thing we ate was fantastic, and we walked out absolutely stuffed. But as good as the food was, what I'll remember most is how Sharon and her staff made us feel. I actually walked out with my wife and got a little emotional. I looked at her and said, "I think this just became my favorite restaurant in Hoboken." Fourteen years living here, and somehow it took us this long to discover Augustino's. We'll be back. Promise.

We were super impressed with Otto Strada. We arrived early on a Friday and were happy there was no wait. Reservations are not accepted. We chose outside seating and we got a lovely seat in the shade under the covered area. We were greeted by Jeremy who offered us water. He was friendly and we had a nice conversation. He was new with the restaurant, but knew the menu well. It's nice to see a young man working and have pride in his job. Our waiter Chris arrived soon after. He was a great waiter. He was also super friendly and was able to help us navigate the menu and helped me with Gluten free options. We opted for the pear salad. I got a limoncello chicken and my husband got a pork chop. All the food was super delicious. It's a challenge for me to get a good meal being gf and dairy free now and this was perfection. Chris was able to put things on the side and recommended the perfect dishes! We had dessert also which was a GF banana cake with Gelato. It was delish. My only complaint was I thought the desserts were small and a little pricey. If priced a little less, we would have ordered 2 or 3. All in all it was a perfect experience and evening, and we will be back soon! Highly recommend!

I…read morehad been eager to try their pies, as well as their full meals, but only just made it to their dimly lit, hip and happening main dining room. The space was not large, but they really made the most of it, offering a decent number of tables with reasonable space between them. My friend and I were quickly seated and immediately greeted by a charming server that opened our bottle of wine (it's BYO) and offered us still or sparkling water. I had read in other reviews that you had to pay for water, so I was not surprised by the $6 bottle of Saratoga that wound up on our bill. In addition to our engaging server and the happening atmosphere, the food was similarly incredible. We decided to order a load of things to share, so that we could try a greater variety. We started with two appetizers that were seasonal Spring additions to the menu. The Hamachi Crudo included five thickly-sliced, tender pieces of Japanese yellowtail sitting in a broth of rhubarb aguachile and topped with white strawberries and basil seeds. It was an unique blend that we would not have expected to work, but boy was it delicious! The sweet toppings infused a load of flavor into an otherwise mild fish. We also enjoyed the Fava-mole, a creamy puree of fava beans studded with balls of hand-pulled mozzarella and pea tendrils, all drizzled with zesty ramp oil. I had not been sure what to expect from the dish, but it offered fresh, bright garden flavors. We also decided to share a pasta course and an entree. The Fettuccini was tossed with spring truffles and maitakes in a light, yet heavily aromatic, wild mushroom cream sauce. It was one of the best dishes I had had in quite some time. Then, as we were waiting on our seafood entree, we received a second pasta, courtesy of the Chef. I had mentioned that I had heard rave reviews about Flour from a server at Heirloom Kitchen, a top NJ restaurant. Apparently, our waiter had let the Chef know about that glowing praise, and the kitchen further verified that positivity with the generous gesture. In fact, they wound up sending out the Linguine with white clam sauce, razor clams, and wild ramps, the other dish about which I had been most curious anyway. Well, it was another winner! It was garlicky, herbaceous, and rich with flavors of the sea. Speaking of seafood, we next received the Branzino 'Bahn mi', a perfectly cooked piece of Mediterranean sea bass with Vietnamese sausage and pickled vegetables. The branzino's crispy skin and flaky, moist interior were excellent, and we loved all of the other smoky and briny flavors on the plate. After all of that excellent food, we would have loved to try one of their appealing desserts, but we were just too full. Between the ambiance, welcoming vibe, and delicious cuisine, our Flour experience was simply divine! It has now became one of my favorite restaurants in the area, and I cannot wait to try their pizza at some point as well.

I was a big fan of both, especially the ricotta, which was so incredibly creamy. For the mains, everyone's fresh-made pasta was excellent. I ordered the Mexican street corn, which was unique, flavorful, and delicious. I also tried some of the spicy rigatoni and loved it. We ended the night with the s'mores dessert, which was rich and chocolatey. Also, the fact that the restaurant is BYOB is a huge plus! The only downside was that I lost an item during our visit. I had a really hard time finding their contact information online, so I had to go back in person to ask about it, which was a bit annoying. Ultimately, they weren't able to recover it, but the food itself was still outstanding.
