Worst service I have ever had. Went here with some friends Saturday night. We all ordered food. One person ordered sweet and sour pork. When our food came out his didn't. 15 minutes later they came out with his food. They brought him sweet and sour chicken and told him the pork takes too long to make. He did not like the chicken and did not eat it. When we got the bill I was surprised to see the sweet and sour pork on it. When I told the waitress that we couldn't pay for the pork since we never ordered it and did not agree to the substitution she got hostile. She told us she had to ask the owner if she could comp us the item but he was out on a delivery and we'd have to wait. I didn't want to wait so we paid cash and left. The waitress then chased us down and accessed us of not paying without checking the table. I got really upset and told her we paid and she should check the table before accusing us. She told us to go to McDonald's. read more

Came here yesterday with my best friend around 9:30 pm. We were quickly seated and received our waters and scorpion bowl within a few minutes, great. Our waitress brought us a few menus but we needed extra time to figure out what we wanted. After that, the waitress forgot about us pretty much and didn't come back around to take our order for probably about 20 minutes. We put in an order of chicken wings, crab Rangoon, and rice when she eventually came back. After around 5-10 minutes we received our food which was warm and tasted decent. However, the waitress never came back to check on us and ask how our food was. There was also a group of 8-10 people in the restaurant at the same time who were loud and obnoxious and made the experience worse. There is a small bar inside as well that has tv's that we're playing the pre season Patriots game. Overall, decent food but terrible service, probably won't come back due to that. read more

This was by far the worst food I've ever eaten. The chicken was completely inedible - my husband actually stood next to the trash can trying to even chew the food and just ended up spitting it out because everything was hard as rocks. Also, for $14-$17 a plate - it doesn't come with anything - no rice, no egg rolls. Extremely overpriced, especially for dog food! read more

Went to lunch with my mom on 7/29 and had the worst service ever. Both meals came out completely cold so we asked the server if she could ask the cooks to remake the meal for us politely. Which she did on our way out the hostess told us to never come back again because we complained about how cold did the meal was. When I tried to ask her if eating a cold meal at a restaurant was acceptable to her even though she said no she still did not want our business to ever come back to her restaurant again. It shows that she has no Hospitality skills to do this type of business. This is the worst experience that I have ever had going to a restaurant where someone complains and is told to never come back again. If you go to this type of Restaurant please stop going because they are very unprofessional. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Putting 1 star is to good. read more

Go to Sun Dynasty and order Wings!!!Having worked in the restaurant business I I know first hand how difficult it can be and is to turn around the reputation of a restaurant. I think the folks at Sun Dynasty nailed it. I went in at 11:30 to order take out. I got luncheon special 11, moo goo gia pan and added wings. Everything was got fresh and cooked to order. Vegetables were crisp bright and colorful. Moo goo was great. The rice was pretty typical however the wings were THE BEST!!! I have ever had. EVER even better than mine! This place serves your usual Chinese fare, and it's hit or miss, as far as freshness/quality goes. It's often not the cleanest place around and there is a female waitress who lacks personality and often can be found on her phone instead of doing her job. They are chronically understaffed during hours when it should be expected to be busy. The rest of the staff is usually friendly (Lily, the bartender, is great and makes excellent, "generous" drinks). Still, they are reasonably priced and offer a laid back, comfortable environment for us locals. read more

Your typical hometown Chinese food place. Same good drinks, same menu as all the others. I do have to admit that I have never had any major issues here, never had any screw-ups with the orders either. We order take out here at least 1 a month and have dined in a handful of times. The place could use a good cleaning though. If you do order on new years eve for take out or delivery expect a 2-3 hour wait just like everywhere else! read more

Terrible service. My husband and I brought our 1 year old for dinner and to watch the Olympics around 6 pm. The waiter made us get out of our seats and told us we could not sit there with a child, instructed us to move to the back of the restaurant with no TV. We left immediately. Despite being a Plymouth resident for decades I had never eaten here. A family member invited us out and I have to say I was really surprised! The food was VERY tasty and the portions were insane- especially given how inexpensive it was. We all ordered different dishes and sampled each other's food. There wasn't anything we didn't like. I usually don't like spring rolls but theirs were so fresh and the texture wasn't mushy like most places. Hands down the favorite dish was the garlic noodles. Even the kids loved them! read more

If you're looking for customer service, do not come here. After moving to Plymouth a year ago we were looking for a local place for mai tais with a fun bar. Having so many great experiences in town, we were not expecting what this place gave. Although the bartender was pleasant, I have never experienced the rudeness the front end gave in my entire in time in Plymouth, and for that matter, ever. And the food was awful. Don't bother. Americanized Chinese food. It's located right next to the parking lot so it's easily accessible when you're tired after whale watching and need food before the drive home. They give you bread with some sweet sauce (hint of tamarind?) which the high point of the meal. The rest was not bad, just not memorable. read more

Worst Chinese food I have had in a long time. Went for lunch. Waitress screwed up my order, gave me rice instead of lo mein, rice was clearly old, dry, dark brown and pork bits were dry and chewy. The sesame chicken was gross, that too, not fresh. Meat was tough and sauce very gooey. My husband had sweet and sour chicken and it was difficult to bite through the fried batter on the chicken, was hard and chewy. All in all we left nearly all of it on our plates. Went for early dinner and the food was pretty good but have had better. Prices were average. But the real turn off was our server, a young man who seemed to be yelling whatever he was saying. It was not understandable and we figured if he raised his voice we would understand him better. It limited us from ordering other things because he would come back with some answer that didn't make sense. It made our dining experience very uncomfortable. On our slip it said the name Sun. That may or may not be his real name. Also, it was very loud in there and we felt rushed even though there were plenty of seats still there when we came in and when we left. Wow! The absolute best Chinese place around! Peter and Sun Sun make your experience amazing! They will always know your order! This place turns into a night club at night... dj curtosey of the jukebox. If you love scorpion bowls but are scared of fires.. this is the place for you! Only fire is the poupou platter. Been ordering take out here for a while now and we're never disappointed. Their food is always consistently good and their menu is great. I have never eaten at the restaurant, we have always gotten takeout and delivery. This place also gets a bonus in my book due to the fact that it's the only Chinese restaurant that delivers to our home. Generally, the food is alright. Nothing special but it is decent. The service is absolutely terrible. Always understaffed and the servers are rude. Prices of food are not the same as they are on the menu and when I asked about this the server snatched the menu out of my hands and said "prices go up sometimes, it's none of my business" well it is your business if you work there. I understand sometimes servers are having a bad day, but she deliberately sat on her cellphone 5 feet away from my table the entire time and only checked on us once. Sun Dynasty is former Ming Dynasty. Food a lot better now.. Same wait staff, phone number and fixtures/tables/chairs. Wife and I ate there last night and glad it is better as we live in Plymouth so closer than Roual Garden in Kingston. When it was the Ming we avoided and ate at Royal Garden which is very good. This visit to Sun waitress service was excellent and food was quite good. We will definitely return. read more

Been coming here for years, family owned, changed hands from Ming to Sun Dynasty and the the place has gone down hill!!! Tonight was the worst!!! New Years eve, ordered food at noon for 5PM pickup, 8:20 and it finally was given to my poor daughter who has been sitting there since 5:30... I had dinner there last night. Not happy at all ! The restaurant was dirty, the rice had a burnt taste to it as well as the chicken fingers. When I spoke to the waitress she said I had to speak w/ the owner ? He denied it was burnt and replied that they keep the rice on a steam tray.... I think the burning came in the making of the rice not the warming. I asked for fresh chicken fingers and rice, they would only provide me with fresh rice ? I would not recommend this place to a dog, never mind a person and I think the board of health should also do a check in as well ! read more

The Sun Dynasty is picking up where the Ming Dynasty left off. I picked up an order for some Spicy Orange Chicken and Pad Thai. Chicken dish wasn't spicy at all and the Pad Thai was the worse I have ever had it was dry, flavorless, and you needed a magnifying glass to see the chicken and shrimp it was nothing more then a container of dry noodles. I returned the Pad Thai and was asked if I wanted a certificate in stead of my money back because they didn't know how to perform a credit on my card. I declined and requested a full refund. Since I didn't pay for my meal with a coupon why should I accept a certificate in lieu of a full refund. There were a handful of patrons waiting to be seated the manager didn't want the bad publicity so he refunded me in cash so I could leave quickly. It's been over 20 years since I've eaten at the Ming and it'll be another 20 before I go back to this place. read more
