If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First we did not get the room we requested, then the floors were not vacuumed, used condom in stairwell, roaches crawling on walls, JACKIE nor any other employee wanted to give us the room we paid for, NOR refund after we got all our stuff to leave after we saw all the bugs. This is a great place to grab a beer and some food and hang out by the pool. The bartender was really nice and put the TV's on the games we were looking to watch. Can't beat the view and the prices. We ended up eating appetizers and they were all good. read more

Portions were very small for breakfast. I usually don't eat much and I was still hungry after this meal. If it wasn't for the view and the friendly staff, this restaurant wouldn't have been what it was. There is a breakfast buffet nearby (Windows Restaurant @ Sands ocean club) that is of similar price and better value, also with a nice view. read more

Used to go here all of the time for breakfast and dinner, and a great locals bar. Fantastic ocean view, and view of The Dunes Club. Great music, and jacuzzi off the bar. Since then the resort stopped managing this establishment, and new leasees were operating. No more great breakfasts, dinners, or music. Rarely see anyone at the bar. A huge dissapointment that stopped us from even booking at The Sands Beach Club. We now own several condos nearby, and do our own cooking at home. Shore Dr. Is a great area where you can spend all of your beach time there, until you are ready to check out. Too bad that this establishment can't restore the fun of days gone by. My fella and I took a day trip to the resort to visit family and decided to grab a bite in the ocean front bar/restaurant while the kids napped....BEST IDEA! Holy Moly as a self admitted wing freak they were amazing! We got the regular buffalo wings which were cooked to perfection, a lil well done and crispy...how they should be. My only regret with the wings was not venturing out and trying any of the other many flavors. Plus they had beer specials...2 for $5...yes, please! We enjoyed it so much we took the entire family down for supper and everyone LOVED their dishes. I had the mango habanero burger which was pretty amazing....next time I'll be getting that sauce on the wings. We noticed many other guests ordering to-go and the pizza looked especially great. The staff, especially Mary, was super warm and inviting and we immediately felt welcomed. I did ask about parking (because it is located in a resort) and we were informed that anyone can visit the resort to dine in the restaurant....just let the parking attendant know you're there to dine and you have 4 hours. Plus you can come in from the beach as well. Highly recommended you visit Barney (the resident parrot) and Mary. We will be back =) read more

I have never been to this actual location, but this restaurant delivered to our hotel room at the Sands Ocean Resort. We ordered the room service from them twice, and the food was amazing. The clam chowder, tomato basil soup, and grilled cheese were all fantastic. I'm not even a soup person--I would prefer not to eat soup, but it was THAT good! When we called, the guy said that we wouldn't need A1 with the steak we ordered, and we were skeptical. He was right, though. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. Went to the restaurant after seeing 4 stars on yelp as we were waiting on our room to be cleaned. We arrived at 1pm and the restaurant was empty and the only server was not friendly. The food they clams is fresh is certainly not. We had chips and salsa, onion rings, clam chowder, grilled chicken wrap and a kids hot dog. I am here to say nobody took more than 2 bites of their food and we asked for the check. I was curious about why they wanted to know if I would be paying with cash or credit and that is when I find out they charge an additional 3% on credit cards. The only thing this place has going for it is the ocean view. Would not recommend. read more

Walked in and we were the only family in the restaurant at DINNER TIME in July! The windows were filthy. I've always been told of the windows were dirty don't eat there. We felt bad for going in and being turned off by the bird in the cage, the weird smell from being located by the hotel pool and the Christmas bulbs that were being used as a decoration..... in July. We ordered drinks and an appetizer and said we had to leave. The place felt shady. The location is beautiful. Too bad they don't keep up with the place. read more

Went here looking for breakfast. They had a breakfast menu posted on the door yet we were told they don't serve breakfast. Ordered the "seasmae" chicken expecting it to be treated as a rice bowl (mixed together with vegetables), when we asked about it we were rudely corrected. The customer is never right at this establishment. We were the only ones there and it took 30 minutes to get our food. The food wasn't fresh either! After that, we got a new server and she wasn't friendly either. The menu is very confusing and they nickel and dime you for everything. After 2 refills, you're charged $1.00. Seriously?? NEVER GO HERE FOR A SIT DOWN MEAL. Maybe grab a drink or some small appetizer and go right back out to the beach, because this very well could have been my worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Horrible service and 5/10 food. Here is the story: My family and I (12 people) went for dinner around 6 and it was empty which should have been a sign I suppose. When we ordered the waitress made fun of my girlfriend for asking what comes in their burgers. After sitting for about 45 min, the waitress comes back and says that she just put our orders in because she has to serve the people at the bar who came in much later than us. Every 10 or so minutes she came with excuse after excuse of why the food wasn't ready. After about an hour and a half we finally get our food but there was one thing missing... My girlfriend's burger that she was ridiculed for asking questions about, and it didn't come out until the rest of my family was done with their food. It took an hour and a half to get our food, which was mostly sandwiches and pasta dishes that couldn't take more than 15 minutes to make. I had wings and mozzarella sticks that I'm almost sure were just microwaved. The only positive of the entire meal was that we got my girlfriend's burger for free. Please don't give them your business. Please don't waste your time and money. read more

What a great surprise. We had visitors come in while on vacation and didn't want to waste beach/pool time by going out for lunch. We we're worried because we we're the only ones in there at lunch time. The food was fresh made our burgers we're chargrilled and great, chicken quesadilla, tuna melt, veggie soup also great. They have a great verity from burgers wraps salads and soups. Beer nice n cold not flat. Service was great, bartender had great sense of humor and Barney the parrot was fun for the kids even though you can't pet him. read more
