Hole in the wall mom pop down in Chinatown hit the spot for some home cooked feel Chinese food. Congee was great, the Chinese fried stick however needs to be toasted when they reheat...mours fel like rubber coming out of a microwave. Fried rice, delish.

I came here on May 15, and the food was not the same. It is under new leadership and it is not as delicious as it was before. Alot of people enjoyed it and maybe it was just me.

Amazing experience in Chinatown. Dishes are huge and delicious. The duck was so good! We all enjoyed our dinner. Highly recommend.

The food is good; I think my meh is because I was expecting to dine somewhere else which did not work out so I ended up here. However, it seemed to have a good representation as many people walked in after me to dine there and it was quite full when we arrived. I like that they had seating for large groups. We were seated immediately, given a menu to order and very hot tea. I felt catered to and our food came out quickly. I did not feel rushed while dining. We ordered the duck noodle soup with wontons and lo Mein.

The roasted duck is made fresh. Quality meat. Shrimp and pork steamed dumplings were huge! So much flavor in both dishes. Especially the sauces they give just adds to it. The place is homey, but customer service needs work. Will be coming again.

Stopped in for a friday late lunch and they were busy! But they made room for my party of 8. They serve you hot tea and the service is quick. We ordered a lot of items and they came out at the same time and quickly. 10/10 recommend supporting this small business!

Everything tasted relatively clear and healthy, possibly no msg. The egg noodles were decent, slight chew. Beef stew sauce was done well, tendon cooked to a good tenderness, and brisket still had some fat left on it. Wontons were just ok, could use a little more seasoning, and broth was a bit lacking for my taste. Char siew didn't have enough char or flavor imo. Bigger and more spacious than expected, and service was quick.

I been eating here since I was 9yo. I seen the servers retired. The food had always been fantastic and flavorful. This place never changed and why would it? If it's not broken, keep as is. A must stop in when visiting NYC Chinatown...Cheers!

The food is excellent and the price is right. Service was fast but nothing to write home. Is a good place to have a lunch. Authentic Chinese food in NYC Chinatown!

I got the wonton noodle soup with beef stew. The beef stew was delicious and tender, melt in the mouth texture. The wontons were big and normal tasting shrimp pork wontons, and the noodles were also normal. The soup was solid. I will come back for their BBQ which most of the other diners were ordering.

The best Pork Fried Rice and Port Lo Mien I have ever had. Service was quick and feels simple and comfortable inside.

Got off the E train and when we looked for Chinese food, this place popped up with good reviews and it was just a short walk from where we got off the train. My buddies ordered the special lunches and we also got two types of xlb's, beef chow fun, and some fried dumplings. The special lunches come with a little fried rice, cold garlic flavored noodle, choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup, and main side. My buddies all enjoyed their meals. The beef chow fun was also really good and beef was nice and tender. The xiao long baos were excellent and is comparable to any place in California like DTF. Nice and juicy and great with some ginger, soy sauce, and spicy chili. Friendly service and food comes out pretty quickly. Credit card is accepted. Bathroom was also very clean, which is sometimes rare in some Chinese restaurants I have been to. If you're looking for a good Chinese meal, stop here when you're in the Chelsea area.

Service is very fast and they kept the water flowing (spicy dishes really are spicy!), and the portions are huge. Though you have to pay extra for white rice ($3 a bowl), the overall value was reasonable for the main dishes. The grilled pork spare ribs was good, but it was too little meat for the price. The scallion pancake was bland. The Peking duck was ok. The pork xiao long bao was bad. The skin broke easily with the included forceps and with chopsticks. It was hard even transferring it to my plate. The mapo tofu was bland. The la zi ji (spicy crispy chicken) was too spicy to eat. I have good spice tolerance, and I always eat la zi ji, but it was just too spicy. This was the only meat dish that was barely touched at the end of the dinner. The best dish was the cumin lamb. It was seasoned well and the lamb was tender. I wish they gave us more lamb though. The meat pieces were small. I've had much better Chinese food in dallas. I would not recommend this Chinese restaurant to anyone.
