Food: A. Service: F. My wife raved enthusiastically about the Belgian waffle in her Fried Chicken And Waffle entree, and in the same breath pronounced the Green Chile Mac-N-Cheese side "disgusting". My Fried Gulf Shrimp Basket was quite tasty, but not better (or worse) than you'd expect at any place serving fried shrimp. There's no way I can adequately describe just how bad the service was. We waited 45 minutes at our table before flagging down a passing waiter, who seemed surprised that nobody had approached us. Then another long wait. Finally they brought our food, and did not ask if we needed anything else at that time or during the rest of the meal. After waiting patiently for a long time, we had to flag down a passing waiter just to get the check. It felt like we were in a no-man's-land where no waiter thought that table belonged to them. It was the worst service I recall having anywhere ever.

Sundancer Grill is just a short drive off the beaten path. The view of Lake Travis and sailboats were beautiful. Since I was eating a little later than usual, I had the grilled chicken salad and a side order of bone in wings. Both were delicious and very fresh. You won't see any heat lamps here! They start cooking when you order. The service was a little slow starting out, but they finished up doing a great job. Lakeway has several different places you can eat, but I recommend you try Sundancer Grill. The food and views are Great! Go get Full

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool spot right on the lake![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was good, (really liked the Thai chicken lettuce wraps and pork/fried avocado tacos) but the speed and attentiveness of the service ruined the experience. Went for a quick lunch before going out of Lake Travis and it took at least 40 minutes to get our food.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I almost hate to write how good the brunch was as one of the things I love is quaint lakeside place with no crowds and laid back atmosphere, however, I will share.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sundancer has a current promotion on Saturday brunch of buy one get one free before 11am. Shaylah recommended the shrimp & grits which I ordered, my husband got the Belgian waffles. Shrimp and grits is big enough to share, it had a good kick and I loved the combination of andouille sausage and fried okra with fresh mix of stir fried peppers, celery and such. Poached eggs were cooked perfectly and ran into grits and sauce...yummy. My husband's waffles were stacked with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. He said they were tasty...like eating dessert. Shaylah was welcoming and helpful...she recommends the key lime pie as it is the best...but will have to check that out another time.

Sundancer Grill has the best burger around Austin. The burger patty is always cooked just the way we request. I love their burger buns -- they have a great texture and complement the burger perfectly.

Jerk Spicy Island Wings. Might be better with ranch, the sauce doesn't stick much. Good flavor, a bit dry.

What a great surprise. My first time here and you know, it's really good. Late Saturday lunch crowd (4pm) watching The Masters, a few tables going with food, and friendly employees. Nice view - will be nicer when the lake fills up again someday. Easy parking. The biggest hit: the crab hush puppy Caesar salad. Wow. The hush puppies are fantastic, and are much closer to crab cakes. I suspect they'd double their sales if they just called this a crab cake Caesar. The dressing is tangy and they used just the right amount. Get it - it's great.

We stopped by Sundancer Grill recently after a sailing for the day on Lake Travis. The restaurant is located at Sail and Ski Yacht Club. But, don't be fooled, this isn't your typical lakeside restaurant! You can get there by car or boat. The restaurant has a courtesy dock located behind the restaurant. If you boat in, be aware of the shallow water! Logan waited on us during our visit, and his service was great ... attentive, but not overbearing! Thanks Logan, well done! We started off with a couple of appetizers, the ceviche and the fried avocado wedges. The ceviche was perfectly prepared, and featured tilapia, mango and citrus, well-balanced, with a little heat provided by diced jalapeno. The ceviche is served with seasoned tortilla chips, very tasty and sturdy enough to hold a pile of ceviche. Delicious... We weren't as thrilled about the fried avocado wedges. They were a bit mushy; I suppose that's to be expected. Lightly battered, seasoned with a little crushed red pepper and sesame seeds. The spicy tomatillo lime ranch served with the wedges was very good. We turned the fresh greens underneath the wedges into a pseudo-side salad. LOL We split an entree, the Catfish Pontchartrain, which was served with garlic smashed potatoes and grilled zucchini. The entree was split for us in the kitchen, no extra charge, which is always nice. The Cajun cream sauce served on the fish was very good, loaded with fresh shrimp. The veggies were good too! We didn't save room for dessert, but those listed on the menu look really good. Next time! I included photos of the entire menu to give y'all an idea of the wide variety of selections offered at Sundancer Grill. Craft salads, burgers, sandwiches, steak and seafood. There is a brunch on Sunday, which looks super tasty! Something on the menu to suit the whole family, and decent prices. Some thoughts about the restaurant itself. It's open air, and it may not even have A/C. But, don't let that scare you off. We were there when the temperature was in mid-90s. They have many fans, and a couple of cooling machines, which I believe use ice. It was very comfortable inside. A full-service bar is available, offering specialty cocktails, as well as a decent beer selection, and a handful of decent wines. Happy hour is Monday through Friday, 4pm to 6pm, with drink discounts, half price wine by the glass, and half appetizers. We'll definitely be back!

My wedge salad, delivered to our table by a manager, was almost inedible. If I hadn't been with my in-laws, I would've sent it back. I ended up eatting the tomatoes, bacon and bleu cheese crumbles. The lettuce should have been thrown out days before it was served. Most of the menu is over priced,over breaded bar food. Our waitress didn't return until she brought the check.

3.5 stars Casual spot right on the lake. The food was surprisingly awesome. I came for Sunday brunch and had the Crab Hush Puppy Eggs Benedict ($18.95). It was awesome, the eggs were perfectly poached, and the Hollandaise was rich and velvety. Slightly dirty tables.

I don't usually leave reviews for places I've only been to once, but this place is a huge exception! My clumsy self and boyfriend drove 30 miles to see the lake, and as I'm walking down a boat ramp I trip and scrape up my knee. We were going to eat here, and I thought I might as well ask if they have a bandaid or some Neosporin. The girl in the front asked anyone she possibly could, and even when she came back with a "no," got me a bag of ice. After we order our food and much needed alcohol, the manager (I think!) came up and had a little first aid kit and took care of the cuts with some first aid spray and gauze. Amazing customer service is an understatement, and I loved their sense of humor. Made me feel right at home! Also, my fried shrimp basket was awesome, the shrimp were perfectly crisp and probably the most plump fried shrimp I've ever had. My boyfriend got the pressed Cuban, and it was also really great! read more

The host was horrible. We asked to sit at place with a better view but she said no! Social distancing. So we said ok. Then she sat two at the table we asked for right after we asked. Then they sat people close to us. So no distancing going on. She had to have her way. Plus I tried to order a drink but I had to wait until my food came. But I seen others standing outside drinking beer waiting to get in on a Sunday at 10:30am with no food and anther group of four at a table drinking. Food, waitress and view all good. I would not come back. I guess you have to know people that work there to drink without food on table before 12 and sit where you would like. read more

4 stars is actually a little high, but I'm giving points for the fact that I think they really try. First, I want to refute claims that this restaurant is dirty. Interestingly enough, we walked in just after they opened and the first thing I noticed was how clean it was. Everything smelled and looked clean. As for the food, the crab hush puppies and slaw were very good. The slaw was lightly dressed and tasted fresh. The hush puppies has very little breading and a lot of crab. We split a burger. I do not like my ground beef pink, so I requested well done. Huge mistake. It was extra well done. Borderline burned. I can see why people complain about the fried foods. The fries were very greasy and over fried. The salad on other tables looked quite nice. I would try one next time. Overall, this is one of the better lake establishments and I would try again, but with a salad. Drink prices were very reasonable, which is difficult to find in this area, read more

Order the firecracker shrimp. There must have been 25 crispy, hot shrimp for 14 bucks. Very satisfying. And the salads, wow! We split a steak salad and it was perfect. On the right night, the outdoor deck with a view of the lake is the way to let a long week roll off you. read more

Mothers Day, wait was quoted at 45 minutes for party of 1, completely understandable. After the waiting area was mostly cleared out and it had been over an hour I went to the hostess. She claimed she had texted me even though I was sitting in front of her the entire time. She offered to seat me right away. My waitress took my order quickly, brought me an orange juice 3/4 of the way full. I ordered the crab hush puppy Benedict, came out timely but had almost no Hollandaise sauce, very dry and the breakfast potatoes were greasy and flavorless! Never saw my waitress again until I was finished eating and no longer needed more Hollaindaise sauce. Just visiting the area and won't be back to eat here ever again! read more

My husband and I went here last night. In his words, "If the Texas toast is the best part of your ribs dinner, something's wrong." The atmosphere was decent. We weren't looking for anything too specific. I got the Cosmo, which was meh. It felt like they were trying to be too innovative and creative with a basic drink. My husband got the Painkiller, which he liked, but accidentally spilled. We were scrambling to wipe it up with our cocktail napkins. When our server, Trish, came back, we asked for more napkins to clean it up. She dropped some off and just kept going while we picked up the ice and 1drink. Sure, it was our fault ... I'm just used to servers trying to be helpful. My husband's ribs were "eh". Like the Cosmo, they tried to be creative with a basic meal. I had the shrimp tacos, which were decent. I can't lie, what made this visit 2 stars (for me) was our server, Trish. When I asked about a substitution, she flatly said "no". I definitely appreciate a restaurant with no substitutions, yet I would hope for someone to offer a suggestion or be more helpful than just "no". When I asked for suggestions regarding the fish vs shrimp tacos, she didn't offer much help. I asked if I could have one of each. Again, the answer was a flat "no." My husband and I are in town for our wedding anniversary. We thought this would be a decent place to celebrate. Just kidding. read more

10/4 UPDATE: this place gets worse and worse! Came on Thursday night with a small party. The restaurant had a meager 5 other tables occupied. It also had 4 servers that would completely disappear for 10 minutes at a time. Everybody in the restataueant would stand up and look for their waiter or waitress. Couldn't even get a beer from the bar. Had grown adults and parents wondering around the place looking for help. Such lackluster and carelessly managed staff here. The fried chicken special came out 1.5 hours late and tasted like some 18-wheelers tire that had blown out on 35. The servers and bartenders sensed the restaurant patrons were getting tired of their shit service and offered to comp some items. Sure enough the bill comes out and they didn't comp a single item. Really? Is this the best you can do Sundancer Grill? Hope you're ready for the onslaught of bad press. Cheers! read more

Nice place - very pretty and everyone in my party, except me enjoyed their food. I ordered the cuban sandwich and received a mediocre ham & cheese instead. I don't know if the kitchen simply forgot to put the pork on my sandwich or they were out of pork. If the latter, they should have told me so I could have ordered something else. I don't like to complain, so I ate it anyway. It was ok, for a ham & cheese sandwich. Just double-checked their menu. Pork isn't listed in the description. So I stand corrected. But a cuban sandwich has both pork and ham. So my comment would be don't call an item on your menu something that it isn't. read more

I went here about a week ago with my boyfriend and his grandma. We thought it looked good and location was beautiful! I went in and had them put our name down for a table. About 45 mins to an hour had passed and we were all getting irritated. We saw another group of three and a couple get seated right away for the patio. Once I had noticed, I went inside and talked with the lady at the front. I had to interrupt a lady in front of me to make sure the waitress wouldn't seat them. So after waiting an hour or so, we FINALLY got seated. The food was easily a 5 star rating but the service we experienced was absolutely subpar. I'm very disappointed in the service we were given and honestly don't want to sit back down at the location. I advise to order take out if you want to try their food instead of wasting your time waiting on them to seat you. read more

Delicious affordable food in a welcoming atmosphere - not to mention an insane view on the lake! If you've never been, you're seriously missing out. For appetizers, the mozzarella sticks are by far my favorite. Highly recommend the chicken & waffles - the cinnamon butter is AMAZING and the green Chile mac & cheese on the side is an oddly great pairing! Favorite drink would definitely be the lemon drop martini! If you aren't completely stuffed after your main course, you've got to order the loaded brownie with ice cream, seriously, SO GOOD! The staff is always so friendly and definitely make you want to come back! read more

On a weekend getaway in the Lake Travis area and went here for our first meal. Did not disappoint with delicious food (the shrimp appetizer was amazing!) and a really nice view complemented by great weather. If I could give zero stars I would. I'm not one to put a negative review, but the way we weren't serviced made it feel very intentional. I went to everyone I could see to get my waitress to our table just to get water and they continued to tell us i'll get your waitress and we were constantly over looked when she only had us and another table. we asked for water in the very beginning and never ever got it and continued to asked for it from every person that could get it for us and never got it. borderline it felt racist. Would not recommend ever coming here unless you don't want service and over priced mediocre food. read more

I was with a party of 4 and arrived around 5pm on 5-3-23. Our table ordered 2 Hickory burgers that were suppose to be cooked medium well, but came out medium rare. I ordered the blackened fish tacos, which were just ok. The worst part of the night was the lack of service. Our male waiter was respectful, but was having to work the bar and take orders from tables. I understand that restaurants are still short handed, but that doesn't mean you have to be rude. After waiting approximately 20 minutes for our check, I waved down a female waitress in her early 20's and explained to her that I know she wasn't waiting on our table, but we needed our check. She immediately got an attitude and told me I needed to be patient and wasn't worried about me leaving a tip. I then took her advice and did not leave a tip, which is only about the 3rd time in my 62 years of life. The other couple we were with were also shocked at the waitress's attitude and stated they would not be back. This establishment will never see me again. read more

We had a horrible experience at this restaurant. It was an hour+ wait, the food took another hour+, to get drinks and food, and everything took three or more times to ask for including refills and utensils. The glassware was dirty and food was burnt. Service was very poor, in that there was none. read more

Last couple visit's have not been good... but tonight was the worst! First asked for wine and water, ordered, out of that wine, asked for a different kind, out of that too! Good came, no drinks, had to ask for water, never saw waitress again! Ran out of water mid meal. Service was horrible and food has gone downhill. Won't be back for awhile read more

$14 dollar margaritas that are less than 8oz. Zero service or care in the world that it's extremely overpriced. Then our mozzarella cheese sticks were $14 dollars for 6! Unreal pricing, horrible service, and I will never be giving a penny to this company. All of my friends will be doing the same as well as my neighborhood. We were staying in a nearby hotel and wanted a place near the water to eat with good food. We picked this place based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. We shared the calamari appetizer and crab hush puppies, the salmon salad and the banana chocolate bread pudding. The calamari came with a southwestern flavored marinara sauce and the crab hush puppies were more like little crab cakes. They were good. My salad had a light dressing on it and it was very good. We enjoyed the bread pudding although I think it would be better without the big chunks of bananas. We sat outside on the patio and the flies weren't really an issue. We would definitely come back sometime! read more

My credit card texts me immediately when I get a charge on it. In my case, it was more than I had spent there, but I called Sundancer and they said it would go through correctly that evening, and it did. Then the same thing happened to someone else I knew. Then it happened recently to my wife -- but she got charged the whole amount, and I mean that someone added $5.00 onto her bill. She contested it immediately to the credit card company, not to the restaurant, because we're beginning to see a pattern by now, and we want the credit card company to know about it. So beware of getting ripped off for a few bucks at a time at this place, since it seems to be a long-time problem at this point. Check your credit card bill carefully when it arrives at the end of the month. read more

In here on a Saturday afternoon. Entire restaurant has been taken over for a party. We were given the choice of sitting outside in fifty degree weather with 30mile an hour winds, sit at the bar, or sit in one of two remaining tables. Yes, TWO tables!!! Food was bad. Ordered conch fritters that came out soggy. Ordered chicken strips. Expecting chicken strips but got a sliced up soggy chicken breast. Their "coleslaw" is nothing but shredded lettuce with some lemon dressing. Then, when it came time to close out our tab, our bartender charged our credit card without ever giving us a tab. No copy to see if we were even charged correctly! All I can say is we will never be back and I would warn anyone I know against eating here. Bad food. Bad service. Crappy establishment. read more

Third time to dine here and once again it was a fabulous meal! My friend is a chicken strip addict and she said these were the best she has ever had, anywhere! I would agree. I mean, what's not to love about a chicken fried chicken sliced into strips with real homemade gravy and honey mustard?! Also their fries are the best ever as well. And their bloody Mary's are too. Sunday evening. "20 minute" wait turns into 45. Then 15 minutes to find a server. Food came out quickly. One benefit. Unfortunately, if you want to see your server within the next 40 minutes, you're out of luck. Terrible, horrible, incompetent management. Oh. But the view was nice. read more

This was a beautiful place right by the lake! Pretty far of a drive for us but the food was worth it! Service was okay, but the food was fast and amazing! We got the hickory burger, firecracker shrimp tacos and you have to try the crab hush puppies!! They will not disappoint read more

Go for brunch. Get the French toast. You'll never forgive yourself if one of your party members orders the French toast and you don't get it. Otherwise this is a great casual place by the lake to chill out and enjoy food. read more

Worst experience ever, waited for over 45 mins to get a table coz we were a party of 6. To be expected coz of holiday weekend so we packed some patience and waited. We were sat down after 50 mins or so and then 15 mins later someone shows up not to take our order but to tell us that food would be another 1.5 hours.. are you kidding me. At no point in time during those 45 mins they could have figured this out.. never coming back here ever. Ridiculous customer service. read more

Not necessarily the restaurants fault but the entitled people who eat here think they don't have to wait for tables and seat themselves while others were on waiting list and there first, staff is to scared to do the right thing! You entitled people who think your better then the rest of us simply suck! Manager could have helped the issue simply by apologizing for what happened and offering a round of margaritas while we waited for the next table, but no he was visibly annoyed by the situation and let it slide. In the end we walked out and went to the Grove read more

I just love this place! Mark the manager , and all of his staff are great! The food has really stepped up a notch over the past 6 months, and you just can't beat the atmosphere and location on the lake. Definitely drove over by boat or car to have a drink and s great meal. read more

The Sundancer Grill is at the Sail & Ski Yacht Club just off RR620 on Stewart Road in Lakeway, Texas.

Meet the Business Owner: Chef Ben N.

Upon graduation from New England Culinary Institute, Chef Ben Nathan traveled through Europe to further his culinary education. Next, he took a position in San Francisco at the Cypress Club, getting hands-on experience in wood-fired cooking & California cuisine. When the opportunity arose to join master French Chef Jean Michael Bergougnous at L'Absinthe Brasserie in Manhattan, Ben returned to the East Coast for 9 years. After L'Absinthe, Ben returned to his native Boston where he worked at acclaimed restaurants Chez Henri and Grill 23. In 2002, he helped open The Fireplace, a New England grill that soon earned critical acclaim including a Boston Magazine "Best of Boston" award in 2003. In 2005, Ben moved to Austin where he joined the staff of the Texas Culinary Academy where he became recognized as an exemplary Le Cordon Bleu chef. Ben then moved on to be the opening executive chef of The Belmont restaurant, and most recently was the executive chef of Austin's beloved Chez Zee.

I got the catfish tacos, which came with a salad as their side. The meal hit the spot. The catfish was cooked just right and well seasoned. It paired really well with the toppings of the taco, which were fruity and bright. The salad was also super refreshing and dressed to my liking. Overall it was a great, light dinner for me after traveling all day and did not take a chunk out of my wallet either. The most fun about this place is that they advertise their natural garbage disposal, the fish who swim near their dock. A few of my friends did not finish their meals and saved their fries for the fish. We may be adults, but we still had a lot of fun tossing fries at fish at the end of the evening. They also sell actual fish food inside if you have small children who would like to feed them more. Whether you are visiting the area with your friends or as a family with kids, this place has something to everyone's tastes.

After the 3rd visit to Sundancer Grill I finally decided to share our experience. The first and the best was around restaurant's opening date. Everything went smooth and the food was good but we found it on the expensive side compared to when it was Shades. I liked Shades pricing way better as far as taking a boat load of adults and kids for a burger. Sundancer Grill pricing has made it where that isn't going to happen very often anymore. We patronize the establishment mainly because it is assessable by water. It has always had good food when it was Shades and am grateful that it remains open. Additionally, I know the reputation of new owner/partners and appreciate the fact that they have been successful and outstanding businessmen in Austin for decades. I felt that they need to know why we will not be pulling up to eat 2 to 3 times a month like we did last summer with the previous owner. I hope that they can reduce the price of a hamburger, drink and fries to $10.00 or less per person. I didn't mind a $100 bill near as much and now that its $170+ for the basically the same food menu items and drinks. Well... they may need to reconsider that because I have. 1st visit; 5 Adults and 7 kids. Good food but expensive and they didn't sell alcohol at that time. Docking in the marina experience all good. Shuttle and cart service to front door of restaurant great. EXPENSIVE considering no alcohol! $190 with tip. 2nd visit; 4 adults and 2 teens. Adults all had weekly menu special, food very good. Teens had Burgers. Shuttle went smooth. Marina and restaurant was very busy and I DID have a problem finding accommodations for docking a 40 foot boat. Drinks and food $170 with tip. Was BYOB prepared this time but they had secured a liqueur license. 3rd Visit; Pulled in and docked at the end of the sailboat dock. The shuttle was picking up someone else and we needed more time to tie up. The Shuttle driver gave me his phone number and said to call. Within 5 min a call was given and 20 min later we were still waiting on dock. Made second call and it took another 12 minutes to finally get picked up. Total of 32 minutes. Once we arrived there was No marina to to restaurant golf cart service so we had to walk up the hill. Entered an almost empty restaurant. Everyone was pleased with food except me and I ordered the catfish basket. Catfish under cooked and breading tasted like the grease wasn't hot enough when it was fried. Well, let's just say that I'll find somewhere else to spend my money. First off, my wife wanted to go there after we'd spend a wonderful day flying in a helicopter. We ended up getting a table that was decent and our waitress Trish was nice but when we asked to be moved closer to the rail which over looks Lake Travis we were told that the table was 'reserved'. We actually thought it was a bit strange for such a place to have reserved seating but we accepted it none the less. 25 minutes later other guest showed up and were asked as they walked up "which table would you all prefer..?". Simply put, the table was not reserved but it sat 4 people and our waitress didn't want us to sit there. Although the previous couple who came in 25 minutes after we were told the table was reserved was offered to sit there or at the table next to it. They actually chose to sit at the other table but they were given the option to sit there none the less. Don't lie to me! I absolutely hate being lied to. Just say "we're holding the table for a larger party". I'll never return and trust me when I tell you that I'll never send any of my friends to this place. Perhaps our waitress Trish was only looking out for her tip but when the table was actually sat the customers had not reserved the table but was allowed to sit there just the same. Maybe the next time you all decided to lie to your customers you will think about the power of social media. Please don't ask me to remove this review because it's not going to happen. Here right now and finishing a chocolate brownie for dessert. Its pretty good but a little overpriced. At 7.95. Arrived to find this small lakeside eatery really bustling at 7:45. Hostesses looked a little lost. And quickly quoted a 30 minute wait. Ok..head to the bar for a few beers with my friends while waiting. Three open barstools beckoned us but just one bartender was working and was overwhelmed. It was about 10 minutes before she got us 3 bottled beers. Hostesses seated us in 20 minutes. Waiter Trey was nice. We ordered 3 appetizers. Ceviche, counch fritters, and wings. The fritters were really good...wings were pretty good also. A jerk seasoning was the main flavor on the wings. The ceviche, tough great on my previous visit, tasted like it was on its last day. We returned it and got the firecracker shrimp. It was just ok. Crunchy and spicy but bland in its presentation. We had a long wait for beer....apps and the details of a good restaurant were lacking. We had to get our own silverware after our apps arrived. No manager seemed around helping out. He may have been in the kitchen. All in all..better than average fare for lakeside dining but speed of service and kitchen execution somewhat lacking. read more

Absolutely loved the food. Great view, good food, decent drinks.. what else do you want. Great view of Lake Travis and the Sail and Ski Marina. You can admire the pretty boats. The food is good and they have the best fries anywhere. I love the fish tacos, fried catfish basket and the salmon cedar plank salad. The burgers are good too. My boyfriend loves the shrimp tacos and shrimp basket. The service can be a little inconsistent, but is usually very good. Frankly I go for the views and the food. It's a very casual place. Went to have dinner the other day. Had the ceasar's salad with the grilled shrimps and it was excellent. My dinner partner had a mixed barbecue with steak and sausage and she liked the steak and how flavorful the sausage was. They had a very good selection of wines, beers and mixed drinks that will satisfy everyone's taste. The only thing that made me take notice is that the Waite staff was overwhelmed and I had to go to the kitchen area to ask for a knife and extra table naps. A nice spot for a weekend brunch. It is super casual and no frills. A great location overlooking the lake and boat dock. Good for kids with a nice playground area. Inside and outside dining options are available and there is plenty of parking. We had the chicken fried Benedict, the crab omelet (which had lots of crab), and the stuffed French toast. All were very good. Only down side was their internet was down so it was cash only- might want to call ahead to see if it is fixed if you are low on cash. read more

We had the crab hush puppies that are absolutely amazing. Even though happy hour had ended at 6, they let us get have more wine at half price. For my entrée, I had the fried catfish basket and my wife had the fried shrimp basket. The catfish was delicious and the fries were seasoned perfectly. Our only complaints were that they brought my wife frozen cocktail sauce and never brought him a replacement and service was much slower than usual. Overall, a great dining experience. read more

I just back from a tropic vacation and decided to enjoy the day on the lake. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries which were delicious! The burger had grill cooked flavor to perfection with jalapenos to top it off! The fries are homemade and are extremely flavorful. Our house is very close to this wonderful lakeside bar and restaurant. It has become one of our favorite go to spots in Lakeway and Bee Cave. Staff is always friendly.
