I use to go to Ruby Nails a sister shop which has been sold. Sunny Nails is the same owner and staff but pricing is higher. I use to pay $20 for a basic pedicure now its $22 plus $5 extra for the callus remover. I don't know why the increase in prices because the service is the same. The only reason I still come (less frequently) is bc I suffer from ingrown toe nails, Hannah and Tammy both know how to properly cut my nails and skin to prevent the ingrown toe nails. I try to remain loyal but the $7 price increase for the same exact service I DONT agree with and thats why I couldnt give 5 stars. read more

Quite possibly the worst manicure I've ever had. I usually go to Princess Nails, but when I stopped by there today they were closed with a sign pointing customers to their sister location - Sunny Nails. I sat down for a manicure and the gentleman went to work. Next thing I know I have jagged nails, not even filed down. I asked for a buff shiny manicure and they brought out a buffer that had been USED several times prior. It rubbed grey residue in my cuticles and underneath the nail that I still can't get off. When I asked for a new buffer, the guy disregarded my comment and continued to "buff." I'm off now to find a place to fix this mess. I won't be back to this place or Princess Nails. Best to find a new spot. read more

Has been my go to, when I go....am not great at going regularly - but no more!! Was there for over an hour and a half and got a good pedicure and a crappy manicure!!!! Nails uneven, rough edges, something under polish and they told me it was my nail! Rushed my manicure to get to 2 women who were ready to walk bc they had a 12:00 appt and at 12:30 they were soaking in water that was now cold. They are super nice, always, but too busy for the number of people working today. I know their business is hard to estimate traffic on a daily basis, but don't rush me, after I left a NICE TIP, (unfortunately I left tip prior to manicure taking place) to get to someone else whose appt you screwed up!! read more

Great!! Took my sister to get her nails done for prom. Saw a plaque on the wall - an agreement that every employee had signed that outlined their customer service expectations. One of the expectations and rules "no speaking Vietnamese when serving a customer." Another, "no laughing, giggling, chatting while serving a customer." I guess they caught on to how uncomfortable it is to hear and see women laughing and talking in another language as they handle your nails. Their service was prompt, reasonably priced, and everything turned out great. Thanks guys!!! read more

This is very close and convenient to my house, and I wish it COULD be my nail salon. Unfortunately, it seems to attract an unpleasant clientele. Kim and May are excellent, and should seek employment elsewhere. I was there on a Sunday afternoon and a woman brought two screaming kids in with her. The manager asked her to leave but she wouldn't. I feel the police should have been called. Totally inappropriate. Further, they let most of their staff go on vacation for 2 weeks in June and had zero availability. I was told on the phone -- as a regular customer -- that I couldn't get in! Ridiculous. Plenty of great nail salons around. I now patronize Yi Nails on Johnson Ferry Road. Much nicer and cleaner, less crowded, high end customers with manners, take and honors appointments, and the owner is there and manages the place. The owner is never seen at Sunny Nails, and the duty manager has no authority. read more

I went there with a gift card, but will not go back. The young man who gave me a pedicure hurt me with everything he did. I have never had a pedicure where cutting the toenails was painful along with pushing back the cuticles. Never again would I go there. I will return to my regular salon for a pedicure!! Guessing this won't be published. I might also add that it was loud and some young woman kept going around in a loud voice. I was just gonna do a check in, but my nails already look awful. It hasn't even been a week and nails snapping off completely. Which I might add, never happens at my go to place in the first week. My nails are uneven and crooked. It just looks the people had no idea what they were doing. I came in yesterday October 26th, 2016 for a pedicure. This is my first time here and It will be the last time, I won't be back. Customer service is horrible. They don't say hello or how are you. the lady said to me " go pick out your color and pick any chair in the back". I sat down on the chair and the lady that did my pedicure came to my chair and turned the water and DID NOT EVEN say hi or how are you. She was very rude and looked very angry. *** She did my pedicure in less than 20 minutes. and the hang nails are still on my toes. She did not bother to check before she polished my toe nails. the pedicure was $22 and I tip $8. She did not even say THANK YOU OR HAVE A NICE DAY. she took my $30 and walked in the back without saying thank you. They all talked in their language very loud and it was so annoying that I had to put my headphone in my ears. *** I WILL NOT RECOMMEND this nail salons to my co-workers or friends at all. read more

Straight up terrible. I came for the first time and was mortified. The lady who did my nails really messed them up. My nails looked better before she did them. They were so messed up that i showed the owner, who ended up redoing my entire fill in. When i asked if the lady was new, the owner said no she wasn't new but needed some eye glasses. So they let a visually impaired nail tech experiment on my nails knowing she needed eye glasses. I will never go back and i strongly advise you to avoid this place! read more

Sunny Nails is FABULOUS! They go out of their way to may you comfortable. I have a busy schedule so most of the time I just walk in instead of making an appointment. This gives me the opportunity to work with someone new each and every time. Every employee there is gracious and kind. I love the two older ladies that always do my pedicure and eyebrows, they are so sweet, I believe one of them is the manager. I wouldn't be satisfied going anywhere else. I went to this nail salon for the first time last week, one of my nails popped off so I came back to get it fixed and they wanted to charge me $7.00 for ONE new nail. When I walked in I said I needed a nail fixed an then asked how much for a polish change and I was told $20.00 by someone else then I guess the manager walked over and told me $30.00, I was confused on why $30.00 when my new full set they only charged me $45.00!! I told the woman in the front that and she disagreed with me as if I didn't just get my nails done there when I JUST got my nails done by them a week ago and I do recall seeing her there at that time as well and why if I just got my nails done and the nail popped off why is she charging me $7.00 then it's a min of $10.00 to use a credit/debit card. She wouldn't not accommodate me at all and get talking in another language. She had a nasty attitude and I'm really disappointed with their service and won't be going back. read more
