I dried one load of clothes and there were random orange stains that were not present when I washed the clothes. I looked inside the dryer with a flashlight and there was what looked like orange crayon all on the inside of the drum, which I then had to clean. Getting used appliances means there will be some amount of extra work, but this was just lazy for the company not even to clean and vaccuum the unit first. Fast forward to October, and the dryer does not work - I had my clothes in 7 times and they are still cold and wet. I reached out to them and they said it would be $129 for a service call and more money for the missing parts. The warranty must've been about 6 months, and it has been 9. I bought from here to support a small business, but this was a terrible experience and a waste of nearly $1000.

Ultimately though we DID NOT have the same experience that our family member did, I guess because we were unhappy with their work product and we had to go back and attempt to take advantage of post-sale service. If you are concerned about your jewelry store standing behind their work, you really should go somewhere else. We went in to have a tension ring re-sized, which they claimed they could do. We paid over $1000 for the resizing, and within 3 months the stone JUST FELL OUT!! Luckily after an hour or so on our hands and knees we found the diamond. We took it back for them fix it, which they did, for another charge of several hundred dollars. Guess what, almost immediately the stone became loose again. I gave them one more chance and to their credit they did not charge for the 3rd try. But within weeks the stone actually FELL OUT again (see picture). I went back in again, frustrated as you can imagine but calm, and they said they would stand behind their work BUT their work WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE DIAMOND EVEN IF their work caused the stone to fall out and lost forever! What kind of comfort is that? Are they afraid of their own work product resulting in lost stones apparently? But I digress, Gem now claims that the ring style is the real issue, not their work! They say that tension settings are an inherently unreliable mount. Really? I don't think so because my wife had this same tension ring for over 10 years and experienced absolutely no problems at all. I kept telling them but to no avail, it's not their fault. In the end, I simple asked for my money back because they didn't do what we paid them to do! But, you guessed it, they would not accommodate at all, and had the audacity to tell me to go somewhere else and still kept my money So that is my recommendation to you, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! There are dozens of reputable jewelry dealers in the Dallas area that can sell a ring, but only the better establishments stand behind their work, and Gem is NOT one of those retailers.

My roommate had found Appliances 4 Less on the internet and suggested we just go look before making our final decision. I'm so glad we did. Not only did we get wonderful service but also was offered better prices than anywhere else. The owners were wonderful. We went back the very next day to make our purchase and they delivered to us same day. They provided every hose, cord and splitter to us and instructed us how to have it installed. They would have done the install as well except our apartment policy is only maintenance is permitted to install and disconnect. The machine is now back to me now that it is December 2025, but I do not know if it is fixed, they kept the pedal and power cord, and are refusing to give it back stating I never dropped it off, and there was a notation as such. That is 100% not true, I called and we will see how this issue resolves but for right now this is a headache, and he had a very condescending tone over the phone to put a nasty cherry on this sundae of disappointment.
