They offered to fix the furnace for $600 but it was 30+ years old and high time it was replaced. Better now, when the air-conditioning quit working, than in the winter when the heat would go kaput. Because of the unusually hot weather, they were swamped and could not come out for 3 weeks, but when they did, they did a fantastic job. In fact, they got the job done 3 days early and made arrangements to do so with my tenant - unbeknownst to me. Before making a large purchase like this, always get quotes. The $585 less that Midway is a lot of money to save!

I'm writing this 3 months after install since we had our air ducts cleaned by an outside company and when everything was turned back on, our thermostat wasn't working. One of their techs, Ryan, tried to troubleshoot with me over the phone and when we couldn't figure that out he came out to our house a few hours later despite not having an appointment available until the following week. It ended up being a very simple fix luckily. This was above and beyond if you ask me. I know we have only had this system for a few months but it makes me glad we chose midway because they truly care about their customers.

I was looking to get a quote for an HRV installed so I called and asked about that. I was asked when the last time our HVAC was serviced and since it had been a couple years was told we should just schedule a service before going ahead with a quote. So I scheduled - great! Guy came out and performed the service, but during the service the float switch we had on the system (so the condensate from the AC wouldn't overflow into our crawlspace if the drain got a clog) shorted the system when he plugged it back in. He said these things are unusual and not needed, since if it overflows it'll just have water in the crawlspace, no big deal (!?!), not like if the HVAC was in the attic. And the system wouldn't turn on unless he unplugged it, was that ok? Since I wanted the HVAC and AC to work I said ok. I asked the technician about getting a quote for an HRV and how that would work, etc, and he said he didn't know much about those and that he didn't see why they were necessary. While agree they're not necessary, we want one to improve our indoor air quality - thus the original call! He said he would note it down and the office would get back to me. Left with a $300 service bill, and an HVAC system in worse-off shape than before (no working float switch), I called back the next business day to see what could be done. The owner was really helpful and said he'd look into it, called back the next day and had the part ordered and would fix the float switch for free. I asked about getting a quote for an HRV and he said they don't really do them, so couldn't help out here. Ugh! That's why I called originally and wouldn't have had someone out here and paid $300 for service I didn't really want. All I really wanted was a quote! Lesson learned on my part, but overall won't be working with them again as they didn't help be address what I wanted to with my system (and I'm out $300 which seems pricey for what was ~1 hour maintenance service)

Another triumph from Ecoheat! We have had the pleasure of working with this company for years on…read moresmaller maintenance projects. Last year, they rescued us from a dying furnace over Christmas and then installed a new heat pump. They really went the extra mile for us, lending us nice space heaters and even fixing the grade of the previously uneven, divoted ground along the wall where the outside unit is, which gave us the amazing bonus of reducing moisture to our basement wall. They just noticed the issue and put in the extra labor to make everything nice. This year, we discovered that our bathroom fan had no duct and just vented into the eaves behind the knee wall of our old house. So, we needed to add a duct and vent to the exterior. We were also having moisture problems in our kitchen due to a lack of a range hood. Our stove is on an interior wall and there is a built in, heavy plaster hood over it. So, Ecoheat devised a plan to add a new hood vent and run ductwork through the plaster hood and a soffit to the exterior wall. Once again, we had a wonderful experience with Ecoheat and they did a stunning job. The owner, Thomas, is personally involved in the details of complex projects and has an amazing memory for our house and us as people. He really makes you feel like a valued customer. The office manager, Deven, is also a pleasure to work with and makes everything run like clockwork. Ecoheat coordinated the electrician so we didn't even have to think about that. The employees seem to stick around for a long time which I think speaks well of the company. Griffin, Bombo and Josue are all just delightful to have around and their work standard is at the highest level. They used vents with metal grills to prevent squirrels. The cuts they made through the angled plaster hood, the soffit, and the exterior were totally precise and the seals where the ducts enter are extremely tidy. Everything works and looks great, all for a very fair price with no surprises. I would (and do) recommend this company to everyone!

We have sort of large crawl space / not quite a basement at our house. Thus the need for this method. I did get quotes from other companies and it was clear to me that EcoHeat was the best fit for us. They met with us and had us over to there shop to show us the various AC units that they had (and the sound levels they generated). This gave us a lot of confidence in our choice. When the install happened the technicians were very cordial, clean and clearly good at what they do. We're very happy with how things turned out. It looks great. Works great. It's been nearly a year now since I had our HVAC system installed, so I have been able to see how…read moreit performs in all seasons and I'm ready to write my review. My initial goal with this project was to replace a nearly 20-year old 60k BTU furnace as well as have A/C installed, which the house did not previously have. I had 3 companies come and give me quotes, and eventually decided on Integrity Air. The house is a 1949 cape cod and had a few limitations that had to be resolved during the quoting process. The first is that the furnace and hot water heater are both housed in an outdoor closet on the back patio that had room for no bigger than a 14" furnace. The other 2 companies could only find me a 40k BTU furnace that fit in that space, which was less output than we currently had. Since it is an older house and not as well-insulated as a newer home I wanted at least the same size furnace (heat wise) as our current setup. Integrity was able to find a 66k BTU Lennox furnace that fit and their quote was even less overall than the other 2 quotes with the 40k furnace. The A/C unit they quoted us was also a higher output than the other 2 quotes I received. The larger output was not oversized for both the size and age of our house. The overall quoting process was very straightforward, which I appreciated. The rep that came out (Jace) was very down-to-earth and explained everything very well while answering all of my questions. There was no pressure and it was more informational than it was a sales pitch. It was clear that he was enthusiastic about what he was doing, which was a nice touch. Once I decided to move forward with the project they came early in the morning in early January and were able to replace the old furnace and get the A/C installed all in a single day. The A/C hookup included having a licensed electrician come out to install a dedicated circuit which was coordinated by them and set up for the same day as the install. I liked that they included the electrician in their quote and set that up for me, as one of the other quotes I got included no electrical work albeit being more expensive than Integrity Air. The team of workers was very professional and hard-working and did an excellent job with the install. The only thing that I would have done different in hindsight is something that I didn't even think about at the time of the install. The media cabinet they installed between the bottom of the furnace and the ductwork coming from the house's air return holds a non-standard size filter and they provided a custom filter on install. There was enough room to make the cabinet just slightly bigger to fit a standard size filter so now my options are either to order one slightly longer and not as tall or to pay twice as much for a custom filter to be built for me. Luckily the door of the media cabinet has enough of a cavity in it that the larger filter will still fit but if I had to do it all again it would be something that I would keep in mind. Other than that I was very happy with the service and would definitely recommend Integrity Air for your HVAC install!

I asked them if they mark up the price of parts, but they kept dodging the question. After some pressing, they eventually said they do mark the price up but refused to tell me by how much. Huge red flag there! I told them the specific part I needed replaced but they refused to tell me how much they would charge for the new part unless I pay them $109 + $48 per 15 minutes for someone to come out and take a look first. Why can't they tell me the price of the part until after I pay them a bunch of money? It seems obvious to me they're going to jack up the price of the part and don't want to tell me the price beforehand because they know it's way overpriced. It seems impossible to find an ethical HVAC company these days.

Our neighbor recommended calling 72 degrees. They sent someone out at 8AM the next morning. The furnace failed again later that evening.
